This Museum is included in the category of Chocolate shop.
My friend and I had an amazing time checking out the museum. Who would of thought chocolate could be fun and amazingly delicious? We did the tour with wine samples and I was blown away at how delicious the pairings were. I definitely am I fan of wine now. James was our tour guide and he was great! He was very knowledgeable and answered any questions we had. I really appreciated the time he took to make sure we enjoyed our tour. And I loved how he allowed me to eat as much chocolate as I wanted lol I felt like a child. thanks James! Anyways we will definitely be back and I encourage anyone to check this place out.
Interesting tour, learn the history of chocolate, this is a museum not a factory so you will not be seeing chocolate being made, but does include samples. Be sure and use the $5 coupon you can find in the local free tourist publications. …
As museums go, it's rather small, but Tony have a good your and the included sabores were a nice touch. The information on the history of cacao was intriguing and the sculptures were cool. Nice variety of chocolates in the cafe.
Tony was amazing on the tour! Learned so much and was very entertaining! The chocolates and coffee in the shop were top notch. Shout out to Antonio up front he was super friendly and helpful and very knowledgeable about all the products. A must see and do in Orlando!
Was great. The tour guide was very knowledgable. The choclate was delicious. The food looked great.
It's a cool place and the tour is cool. Good information with some really cool things to look at. James was our guide great attitude and was able to answer all our questions.
I had a great time on the tour. You must try the Guava Cheesecake!
Awesome tour and delicious chocolate. Loved it.
Awesome!! It was so informational and very interesting
Very fun and informative tour, very good chocolates and the samples during the tour are a nice addition!
The tour guide James was great!!!! The store is fantastic. I loved it
So not what I was expecting and beyond better than we thought. Definitely something you should try and get the wine pairing with it...worth it.
It was the best thing ever and they give u amazing treats inside tour and my family loved it this is the place i will visit everytime u come here they are so nice to
Love this place, chocolate, chocolate & more chocolate Best hot chocolate ever Great tour* highly recommend
This is a must go destination on IDrive the tour guide Tony was entertaining and imformative he was so good he held the attention of my pre teen son for the entire 1 hr tour which is impressive in itself so big props to Tony for that. So go and enjoy.
Cool place. Take the tour skip the spicy chocolate drink. You are welcome.
Learned alot, ate alot
The chocolates were tasty and the tour guide, James, did a great job!
It was a lot more enjoyable and informative than I thought it would be. May go again when we are in the area.
Very nice and informative. I loved the tour and the cafe was nice. It is worth the visit.
This was such a fun gem to find. Educational with plenty samples.
Seems a little expensive but turned out worth it. Did the tour plus wine and chocolate pairing, highly recommend
5 minutes into the 'tour, and our guide starts bashing on Hershey, where I'm from. Gf and I went through the 3 room tour that took an hour, did the Wine and Chocolate pairing, and both got very sick. Definitely would not recommend!
Wow.. The chocolate! Mercy ME! Tastes so good
Fun, engaging, and informative. Not to mention it was a great day trip that ended with lots of sweet chocolate samples.
They don't give samples unless you do the tour which starts at different times so don't just show up and expect a tour. Really expensive for small pieces of candy
Great guide and great history. Loved the chocolate! Thanks for providing the musuem!
Made completely out of chocolate. I enjoyed my visit. I would recommend if you are a chocolate lover.
We did the museum tour, had a DELICIOUS Sangria, purchased chocolate, and had fondue. I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. The young man leading the tour was very funny (IMHO) even though sometimes corny
It was a great experience. Our wine tasting host Antonio was great. He was very informative very knowledgable about the different wines and truffles. Definitely a must do if you are in town. There is nothing else like it in Orlando.
Amazing place! Must try!! We tried the chocolate milkshake. Cheese grilled panini and the volcano cake... Loved it!
Enjoyed hearing history of chocolate from our guide Tony on the museum tour. He is funny. The chocolate is delicious. We also had a lovely lunch before the tour. The hand made chocolates look like artwork! This was a lovely short attraction if you want to get out of the heat, learn history and taste something sweet!
Learned more about chocolate on Travel Channel
It was good. I learned a lot about chocolate.
A little underwhelming but ok if you want to know history of chocolate
I felt like it was a bit pricey for what you got. I expect to see how chocolate was made and to taste some of the chocolate made there, but that is not what it was. The tastings consisted of a handful of different chocolate bars being chopped into small pieces to try. Also yes technically it did have some vintage chocolate making machinery, but they didn't explain or show how it was used. In fact I didn't see any functioning chocolate making machinery. If you still decide to go be sure to order tickets ahead of time or get there early and purchase them otherwise you could wait an hour and still not in as the owner only allows a certain number of people to go through at a time.
The chocolates are out of this world works of hand made art. Can't wait to go for a museum tour between 12 and 6pm.
I’m giving five stars because I LOVED the tour with tony. My husband wanted to come check out this place while we were on vacation. Tony was very knowledgeable, funny, and all around great personality. He made the tour experience great. At the end, we tried cut up chocolate bars that the museum sells in the gift shop(the museum does not make it.) I might be picky, but the chocolate was just not good. We went ahead and bought some that the chocolate museum makes themselves and it tasted way better! It is a little pricey to buy the chocolate that they make, but worth it. I’m a fan of hot coco, so I tried it out and that is DEFINITELY something you need to try while there. It’s the best I have ever had.
This is a really neat museum. The tour is about 45 minutes long with a taste tasting at the end. Our tour guide (I think his name was Tony) was awesome and very interactive! I recommend this place for families with and without children!
Very friendly staff. Gelato amazing. Warm friendly atmosphere. The chocolate tour was very informative. James our tour guide was most excellent!! Really well done chocolate sculptures. Worth having a cup of there hot chocolate... their own recipe! Yum We'll never eat Hersheys again!
This place is AWESOME! Definitely do the tour it is very fun and knowledgeable with samples to go along with it!
delicious chocolate! out of this world
Went to the chocolate museum yesterday and had a great experience. Tony did an amazing job with our tour. He was very interactive with my daughter and everyone present. The chocolate at the tasting was so good. The sculptures were beautiful. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
Great tour it's a museum not a factory but still great
Great place learned a few things about chocolate. Great place to visit. I suggest you take the tour. Our guide was excellent.
Very cozy cafe and wide assortment of beautiful in house made labor intensive truffels. The tour is amazing and Kyle was very cool and I learned a bunch about chocolate
Great food but nothing too extraordinary, I would say is fairly overpriced. But if you feel like grabbing a dessert and you are in the area, it’s a good spot to fulfill your craving.
Selection was awesome, but the tour was sold out.
James gave an awesome tour of the museum. Chocolate sculptures and chocolate tasting were my favorite part of the tour. Highly recommended for foodies who have a weakness for chocolate.
Good tour with James. They should have included a sample of their own chocolate with the tour. I likely would have purchased their chocolate if I had an opportunity to sample. At over $2 a piece, I wasn't willing to purchase without knowing how it taste.
Great place to learn about chocolate and sample at the same time. Some amazing sculptures as well.
A fun place to visit! Tony did awesome with the tour, and everyone was so friendly!
Nice little museum about the history of chocolate, the guide Tony, was very good
This is my second time visiting this place, I did the tour the first time and liked it, it was very detailed, this time though I only went for the chocolates and their hot chocolate is my favorite! Beautiful and delicious chocolates, almost didn't want to eat them! Service was great, the decor is very comfy! Good place for conversation
Tour guide very knowledgeable, hot chocolate pure awesome
This is a very interesting and unique place to visit. At 1st when you entered, it just looked a store front to a chocolate store. You wouldn't believe that there would be such uniqueness behind that storefront! When the lady told us the story of how chocolate was discovered and came about. It was very interesting and captivating. And then when you walk into the room of the chocolate carvings, it was just AMAZING! I just can't believe that these artists took their precious times and efforts to make these statues and monuments! I was just in awe! If you are in the area, I think it is worth the time just to stop in and visit and see it in person!
It was a very nice place to go for goodies and a very good tour. Tony was a great tour guide. Cake was great and the service was excellent
The mini cake (Princess Pineapple) is absolutely gorgeous...However, it was hard, dry and taste wise it wasn't good. Overall, I would say this place is overrated.
Tony was great! The tasting was good. Worth it to check out if you're in Orlando.
Awesome place to visit with varieties of beautiful dark chocolates. Don't forget to join the tour and see the wonders of the world using bulk of chocolates!
Amazing experience. Definitely get the Groupon. James was an awesome and funny tour guide.
Good chocolate. Interesting tour of a museum in the back, on the history of chocolate, with areas on Cacao, and chocolate machinery. At the end of the tour you can taste some chocolate, and they give you a 10% discount on certain items.
The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, the tour was fun and educational. And of course the chocolate was amazing.
I had the hot chocolate and the coffee gelato. The gelato was very good. The hot chocolate was alright definitely wasn't the best I've ever had-- probably wouldn't order it again. However I will definitely come back to do the museum tour next time!
Small cafe with small assortment of chocolate and other desserts. Small gift shop. Did not do the tour.
This tour was absolutely amazing. Tony was fabulous and the chocolate was phenomenal.
Did the chocolate fondue for two tour special and it was great. Tony is a knowledgeable tour guide and answered all of the questions my group had thoroughly. The chocolate samples were great, but the fondue afterwards was where it was at. Fresh fruit, marshmellows, pretzels, and hot melted chocolate included
They have the best handmade gourmet chocolates and desserts in the area. Everytime I visit Florida I order the Key West Lime, Strawberry Ganache and Cookies and Creme Macaroons!!
Really cool place and amazing chocolate
Wonderful place. During the tour throughout the museum we learned many interesting facts and saw unique things; we were offered to taste chocolate samples and hot cacao. We also stayed at the cozy cafe; the deserts and coffee Americana were excellent. The staff is very attentive. Hint: use a $5 off from "Enjoy Florida" coupon booklet (we got at at Walmart entrance) - for a family of 4 we saved $20 on the museum admission.
The tour was super fun! Excellent selection of chocolates. We bought a box of truffles to take home and they were delicious.
Wonderful experience tour is an hour long which is a great time frame. Very informative and fun tour guide Tony is great for this job a pleasant experience will recommend!
Best passion fruit Ice cream
Very lovely place, not what I was expecting but liked the chocolates and gelato.
Very nice tour and you get to try samples of diferente chocolates. You can get the tickets on line for $10 each. They have very nice exhibition of chocolate sculptures of famous places.
At first, I wasn't sure how a chocolate museum would be so interesting as to have its own tour but little did I know that it would be a very educational tour that would expand my knowledge on chocolate. It last about 40-50 minutes and gives …
We took the chocolate tour, it was really factual and interesting. They had themed rooms that were really cool. They let us hold, touch, and smell cocoa beans and other ingredients to make chocolate. At the end, we got to taste some chocolate and hot cocoa. The tour guide was informative and fun. I’d go again!
This place is awesome. I had a Mango cheesecake and it was just perfect. Smooth texture, and not too sweet. The employees are nice and the place is neat. Definitely an excellent place to have a coffee and desert, while having a chat with a friend.
Pleasantly surprised! Our guide Tony was extremely knowledgeable and informative during the tour. We learned the history of chocolate and many other things we had never heard about chocolate. Definitely worth your time! Samples included during tour. Best chocolate anywhere!!
We went to the wrong place at first, Chocolate Kingdom. The staff there were rude and short with customers, including people purchasing chocolate. I'm so glad we came to this museum instead. Everyone was pleasant and friendly, and James couldn't have been a better guide on the tour. Very highly recommend Chocolate Museum over Chocolate Kingdom if you're trying to decide between the two.
They had a very interesting and well done tour. Our tour guide had just started and she did a fabulous job. They gave samples and gave us the Groupon price without th Groupon. They have great smoothies and shakes made from their gelato.
Best chocolate experience in Orlando. If you have the time, please stop by. The museum is amazing and their chocolate and coffee always the best
Super nice place. We go this place all the time. The tour is interesting, the chocolates are great! I love the cheese board, Penni, salad, deserts and gelato! Very lay back! Can enjoy a glass of wine, a cup of coffee and a good book, as well as a relax afternoon, there.
Interesting 45min tour. Great hot chocolate and gelato!
Great history lesson on the tour. Very reasonably priced. Had friendly employees who love their jobs. Taste tasting at the end of the tour. Kids had a blast. Candies, cakes, coffee and drinks were awesome and looked better than anything that you see on TV
I enjoyed James and the tour. Naturally I am a history person and I liked the background. I think it is a little overpriced at about $17 per person for about 40 minutes. The tasters were small too. But overall I enjoyed it.
This place us amazing the best in town. Take the tour it's great we took our 9 year old and 13 year old with autism they were amazing. !!!!!!
Great place very informative
The tour was superb! My family enjoyed learning about chocolate and the chocolate sculptures were amazing! We purchased a $20 package that included a mug and cocoa. It was worth every cent! The establishment was nice and clean. We sat comfortably, enjoyed our cocoa, took a few pics, and utilized the free WIFI access as well. Definitely include this on your list of things to do if you're in Orlando...
Nice place. Didn't get to tour but the truffles tasted just like their names.
I took a tour of the museum with my father and little sister. We all had fun learning about the history of chocolate and enjoyed different chocolate flavors samples. Their Espresso and chocolate for sale were so good, my father and I had two Espressos and 4 pieces of chocolate each. I can't wait to visit again.
Really interesting tour with a good presentation. Divine boutique chocholate. Do it once for the experience, but could likely not afford regular visits...
Definitely recommend the museum tour and u cant miss the variety of chocolates and purest ones at that.
Awesome place. Food great. Burger bun dry. Yummy food. Actually decent price. Desserts were amazing and huge. Kids loved it. Staff great.
Very informative, interesting, and interactive tour. Lots of samples
Great guide (Tony), informative and entertaining! Samples delicious.... Samples were small, but when is the last time you had "enough chocolate"?
It is a small museum, but with a good information about chocolate, you can taste some chocolate..
My husband and I visited here a few days ago, but it won't be our last time. We did the wine and chocolate pairing, as well as the museum tour. We both learned so much and really enjoyed our overall experience there. The truffles alone make it worth visiting!
Interesting tour with tasty treats! Handicap friendly, parking and wheelchair. History of chocolate and awesome Chocolate sculptures. Alex is a great tour guide. Good family fun.
The staff was great and helpful. The tour was quirky and fun with a very knowledgeable tour guide. I did the wine pairing as well and that was good. Great way to enjoy wine and chocolate.
This is a fun and interesting place to visit. Tony did a really great job sharing the history of something many of us enjoy. The cafe is also good. The dark hot chocolate is really amazing. Take the tour, grab some chocolate and enjoy a cup of cocoa.
Only 2 stars since while informative not much else Could have read the info on Google or in a book
Short tour but very neat and fun. Worth going to. The chocolate is delicious.
Very educational. Even let us sample chocolate of all kinds.great staff.
The experience was very nice.the chocolate was yummy! Tony was great!!
Loved it. Friendly, informative staff and interesting tour. My teen son may have been slightly bored, but didnt stop him from enjoying gelato before and a candy bar after. The samples were great, in fact I purchased my favorites and a box of handmade truffles (they were beatifully decorated and absolutely delicious). I'll be back soon.
The Best tour thus far. Excellent customer service. I loved the tour. Good hot chocolate & chocolate samplers.
This place was a lot of fun! We did the Groupon that had the museum tour and wine & chocolate pairing. 100% worth it. Great time, great staff, even better chocolate.
Had a great time on the tour with Tony! We learned about the history of chocolate and got to sample some amazing chocolate, as well! The cafe is very nice, with great sweets and wine! You should definitely take out some time to go on the tour with friends and/or family.
This place is awesome. Deffintally take the tour
Fun place to see. Low key but nice.
This place was absolutely amazing. We did the hour long tour, and our tour guide was very knowledgeable and fun. She was animated and tried to get us into the tour and have as much fun as we could. It was interesting to find out all about the process to make chocolate from cacao and who ate/drank it. At the end, we got chocolate samples ranging from white chocolate all the way to 82% chocolate, as well as a truffle sample. I tried the key lime truffle and it was to die for!!! Afterwards, we got some complimentary hot chocolate(or coffee if you prefer), which was again, phenomenal. I honestly have nothing bad to say about this place. This was money well spent and I would gladly recommend this place to others.
Amazing experience. We did the tour and Tony was a great guide. Learned so much and saw so much. I appreciated that Tony gave us as much time as we needed in each of the rooms to site see and take pictures. It was not rushed at all and was actually fun. The hot chocolate and other samples were also very good. I highly recommend this place, even if it is just to buy some chocolate from the counter.
Sweet made there are so delicious, their hot chocolate blend is great to and presented beautifully. The tour is very educative, Tony was a very knowledgeable and nice person, we discovered a lot of great info about chocolate, the most amazing thing is the sculpture room, all the statues are made from CHOCOLATE.
Besides the great coffee, the place was nice decorated the service was great people were friendly. One of my favorite place to have coffee.
I really enjoyed the chocolate museum. I've been twice and I have not been disappointed. Everyone who works there is very knowledgeable and genial. The chocolate was amazing and they had a huge assortment. I did the wine and chocolate pairing - Great Value! If you're in the area, I definitely recommend checking this place out.
Very fun and the tour was interesting! Our guide Dana was awesome! If you love chocolate, history, art, and more chocolate this is the place for you.
Great place with coffee, hot chocolate, pastries and gelato to choose from. Also has chocolate tours! :)
The museum tour was interesting and informative. The sculptures were not really my thing, but the history, production information, and tasting (both original and modern chocolate) were great, especially as a chocolate lover. The chocolate and pastries in the storefront were delicious.
Quaint, unassuming cafe and lunch place with an attached museum in the back. Take the tour, there is a great deal of historical info with antique equipment displays and art crafted from chocolate. Chocolate tasting and sampling session at the end of the tour. Exotic and somewhat expensive chocolates, but tastes that are hard to find. Nice gifts, fun tour.
Not so sure about museum, but lots of great (artistic) chocolates
Awesome place,it is a museum not a chocolate factory..
Nice little tour and the cafe had great food
Tony was a great tour guide, you get the history of chocolate, some nice samples, great sculptures and a nice discount on everything you buy in the store if you get the tour. P.s. Fondu is amazing!
Really enjoyed the tour, very interesting. Good mix of history and cool things to look at. The chocolate statues were awesome, and the chocolate tasting at the end was delicious. Would recommend to anyone looking to spend an hour in a fun and original way.
The tour was short but interesting. Best part of the tour is you get chocolate samples at the end of the tour. I do suggest getting a groupon for this. I think it gave us a better value for what we got. We got the wine and chocolate tasting. That was super yummy. My kids got hot chocolate which was nice and creamy.
Awesome! A lot of fun. If you live in Florida ask for Florida resident discount for the tour. James (tour guide) was awesome!
It was my first time coming to Orlando, FL and I am so happy I experienced this museum! I love chocolate so I knew it was going to be great. I learned alot about my favorite food chocolate from our knowledgeable tour guide James. I plan on coming back when I visit Florida again !
The chocolates and treats were amazing. The staff and the guide were very friendly and helpful. The tour was informative and interesting. A great experience and worth the price.
Neil was the perfect tour guide, kept on rolling with the dad jokes! Everything was delicious and worth the money spent.
Nice history on chocolate, but no so impressed with the prices.
I stumbled upon this little gem while looking for unique chocolate things to try during my trip to Orlando. I loved their place! The tour was very interesting and informative. The tasting was really good, going as far as trying chocolate from other countries (and a somehow historically accurate chocolate drink). The highlight of the place, which is hard to choose since they have such amazing treats there, is their house hot chocolate. Hands down, the best I've ever had! I will definitely be going back during my next trip!!
I enjoyed the tour and the chocolate was delicious. I would definitely take the family again.
Tour was okay. The front/chocolate display is much more appealing than the tour
Absolutely awesome! Will be returning soon.
Get the fondue for two!!! Amazing tour with Tony, wonderful service at the cafe, and amazing chocolate!! But bring something to drink, some of the samples are bold
Great history lesson about chocolate and Caocao Pods/Beans. Provided interesting facts and sampling.
Great choices for chocolates and gelato. Staff is patient and courteous. Sitting areas are spotless. Overall excellent place to visit.
Nice tour, For chocolate lovers. Who doesn't love chocolate?
Tony was a great tour guide. Learned a lot about the origins of chocolate.
The tour was unique and the tour guide was cool i learned some things about chocolate that i didn't know also the chocolate truffles and desserts were good as well all made fresh daily there by their chocolatier..
This was a fun little tour. Very informative!
We had a great visit here! My wife has been pleading with me to do a chocolate tour in Orlando on vacation so this year I gave in and we drove over on an off day. I was expecting it to be just ok but we ended up having a great time! I did make the mistake of going after we ate a big lunch so I wasn't hungry. I had to pass up some of the offerings in their shop out front. I will tell you right now, the Gelato here looks absolutely insane. I am going back next year to get some of that. There are some tables and chairs to sit and enjoy any food or drinks you purchase. The main attraction though, is the tour. Our guide was Neal and he did a great job. It's got to be difficult giving the same tour, several times a day but he made it fresh and fun for our group. You will learn a lot about chocolate history and production. You will also be offered several varieties of chocolate to taste. The chocolate tasting focuses on specialty bars that have ingredients like chili powder, lavender or other exotic ingredients in it. If you are a fan of this kind of chocolate you will love it. If you are more of a purist, you can opt out of the tasting but I would encourage you to try at least a couple of varieties. You will also be led into a room full of chocolate sculptures. I really didn't expect much from this portion of the tour... but it was actually really cool! I won't spoil it for you but prepare to be amazed at the level of detail and size of these creations! If you love chocolate and are looking for something different to do in the Orlando area, this is a great option. I feel like this might be more geared towards adults, but I'm sure the people here are more than accommodating when it comes to families with kids. Just watch them in the chocolate museum section... they might be tempted to take a bit out of a masterpiece. :) (Protip: the museum pieces are made of baker's chocolate.) Thanks to the whole staff here for making our visit fun and enjoyable!
I've been 3 times now. I love the tour and getting to try interesting chocolates and learn the history of. Always a good time! Show up early and get a cheese plate or the BEST hot chocolate.
Had a nice tour of the chocolate museum....
All round a wonderful place. The cafe was filled with lovely drinks and cakes and staff were welcoming and talkative. The tour guide Tony explained everything amazingly and added jokes where needed. Had a wonderful talk after about British Chocolate Vs American Chocolate. A wonderful place all round
Good history tour and amazing chocolate!
If you are even just slightly into chocolate and you find yourself in Orlando Florida, PLEASE STOP BY THIS LITTLE GEM AND HAVE YOURSELF A YUMMY TIME
We went to Orlando on vaycay. My daughter LOVES chocolate. How could you pass this cool thing up? It in the middle of a stip mall and your thinking how in the world am I about to tour anything in this small place. But, it's a pretty cool tour you get to taste alot of things and learned alot of history I didnt know. And one of the rooms is pretty cool just by itself. They have other desserts too on display outside the museum that looked like they were fake they were so.. perfect looking. Get there early they sell out quick. The tours start at the top of the hour and rotate after that. It was a pretty cool place. Go you wont regret it.
The tour was informative but the tour had too many people and the chocolate samples were too small.
Great service and suggestions. Phenomenal chocolate croissant and pastries. Plating was delightful.
James was a very knowledgeable tour guide
I really enjoyed the experience of this place. I learned a lot of things that I didn't know and the tour was amazing!!! The pricing is not bad at all. I would recommend anyone to visit this place!!!
I loved the history...the tour was just enough and the chocolate was fantastic
Very informative. Guide was enthusiastic about chocolate which was nice. Wish the tour was longer or contained more fun facts about present day chocolate. Also 10% off should be for all items not just bars on the wall.. kindve misleading.
Museum was interesting, Tony the tour guide was fun, and the chocolate tasting was awesome! Would do it again if ever back in Orlando!
Had some tasty gelato while waiting for the tour. The tour is relatively short (40 mins), but informative. I learned quite a few things. You get to taste some chocolate based or related drinks and sample 8 - 10 different varieties of chocolate from around the world. It was a nice way to kill an hour in the AC during the heat of the day.
All the exhibits were made of chocolate and their restaurant was pretty good too!!
