As you can see it reaches an reviews average is practically the top, and it's based on a large number of reviews, so we can think that the valuation is quite accurate. If there are many people who bothered to give their score when they've done well with the service, is that it works.
You know that we do not usually bother to put feddbacks when they are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Museum belongs to the category of Tourist attraction.
Loved this place! Staff was helpful and kind. Will visit this place again. I recommend to visit this place. They have so many birds also. $2 get u to feed nectar to birds from a little cup and they come to you! A great experience! I definitely recommend. I used a discount coupon I found at my hotel lobby advertisement holder. This was Such pleasant experience!
This place is amazing! So much to see, so much to do! Our family loves the Butterfly World! The staff are so friendly and pay attention to all the details, to ensure that the park and all of its guests are happy and having a good experience. We came here many years ago, and now came back as a family, and we loved it then, and we love it now!! Highly recommended, well worth the entry fee!!
I expected to enjoy Butterfly World, but it really surpassed my expectations. Not only is the experience educational and interesting, it is transportive. The amount of effort that has gone into creating this place is astounding. Every time I have guests from out of town, I always take them to Butterfly World. You will love it.
My kids and I enjoyed this place so much. The guided tour was informative but short enough not to bored anyone. We left with some great butterfly pictures
Great Experience......very beautiful and tranquil place!
Love thiz place only thing the amount of money you pay it's not worth it in an hour you can see everything.
It was beautiful, but it was raining and a little lightning, so they closed early, for safety. However, they said if there's lightning, you can get a raincheck, so we'll try again another time. So many beautiful butterflies flying around!
Beautiful butterflies and birds. The staff was very knowledgeable about all the various species on site. Walking into the butterfly enclosure was enchanting. It reminded me of what I think of as faerie.
Initially I thought I had spent too much money just to go see butterflies but let me tell you, you’ll walk out of there having experienced something amazing! I had my 2 year old with me and she was fascinated with the beauty around us.
Absolutely amazing place!!! Was very relaxing and serene to walk through.
It's truly a lovely place with a fantastic array of butterflies birds and plants. But to me the price for kids is high even with the discounts. Definitely look for the BOGO deals but you can easily see everything in 2 hours. The kids got kinda bored kinda quick even the one who likes bugs.
This is one of my favorite places to visit in South Florida to find a couple hours of zen. Every time I go I feel so relaxed from walking around the butterfly aviary and listening to the music while taking photos. This place is truly a must for anyone who loves butterfly's and birds. If you live in the area and think you may visit more than once, I would recommend an annual pass. Two visits pay for the pass. Weekends can get busy, especially around holidays. You also have to pay a park entrance fee on the weekends, so it does slightly increase your cost. There is also a quick service restaurant and great gift shop to spend a little extra time in.
I always love coming here! There’s a variety of butterflies roaming around but be careful to not touch them it is not allowed. Butterflies are for viewing purposes only. They have a great scenery, perfect for photos, a beautiful place to enjoy your day.
Very nice place. We had a nice time yesterday. There are butterflies, birds and bugs there also nice classical music.
Our family loves this place! We've been here a handful of times and we always learn something new. All of the creatures living here and grounds are well cared for. Great for kids that are respectful to animals and follow rules well. Our kids have been ages 6-10 over the years we've visited here and always ask when they get to go back. Bring a few dollars inside the park so you can hand feed Lorikeet parrots! So much fun! Excellent selection of unique items in the gift shop too.
I went today. 31st anniversary so very crowded. Great for every age. Just 10$ to get in today but normally 30$ I thought that was a little steep. You will definitely see tons of butterflies and the whole complex is very pretty.
Brought our out of town family. Had a wonderful experience!
Great experience...except for one thing: A thunderstorm popped up and there was sudden lightning VERY close. I rushed to get my family inside the building. Staff stopped us to make sure we didn't have any butterflies hitchhiking on us. It's nice that you care so much about your little butterflies, but I care more about one of my kids than I do ALL of your butterflies, and you should too. Priorities!
Great place to learn about and see all kinds of butterflies. The staff is very helpful and they have wonderful customer service. While we were there a storm started and the staff was waiting for guests with paper towels.
Absolutely love stopping by here and feeding the lorikeets. The staff is always friendly when visiting and it is always a peaceful place to stop. The annual pass is definitely a great value.
Fun and fabulous! Just wished it had been a cooler day.
What happened to the Hummingbirds? There was no mention in the park's literature (nor website) that they are gone. I was informed by an employee there is only one left. When I questioned other employees, I was told the were "gone-not to be replaced." My great-niece and I traveled to specifically see the Hummingbirds. Very, very saddened to find out they are no longer part of the park. Also, it is not mentioned online (that I found) that the Hummingbirds were gone. Please inform the public! The rest of the park is amazing with butterflies, other birds, insects, beautiful gardens and music.
This is a must do if your in the area. We visit once every year while on vacation and it never gets old. Nice display of exotic butterflies which fly and land on you while walking through. Theres also birds and flowers throughout. Great place to shoot video with the family and spend part of your day. You go through at your own pace and the overall experience is very relaxing. Their gift shop is first rate and parking is easy. One of the highlights is entering a cage where you can buy a small cup of nectar for $1 and the small birds land on you to drink.
Butterflies from different regions of the world makes this is a unique place to visit. They have a guided tour that is very educational especially for children. Located inside beautiful Tradewinds park so you can really make a day of it.
Really beautiful. Mostly Outside and a little inside so u can cool off a bit. Recommended for sure.
Wonderful place to relax and see butterflies and flowers and birds. 30 per person is a bit pricey for about an hour maybe 90 minutes but it is enjoyable.
Here you get to see beautiful live butterflies, birds, and even bugs. There is also a museum, a cafe, and a souvenir shop. Try to go during a cool day because It is mostly outdoors ;)
Fun and entertaining. Come early because it’s outdoors so you want to avoid the heat. They have plenty of butterflies and birds. It’s a fun time. They staff is very cool and friendly. I wish they had more food/drink options like the Morikami Japanese garden does to make it more of a day. It’s a fun time.
A truly magical place, words can't do it justice. Make sure ti allow some time for just sitting and watching the hundreds of butterflies flying around you.
This is a must see experience. Beautiful plants, great landscaping, and around 5000 butterflies flying all around. It was just fantastic. I could imagine this being a movie studio because it was so well done. We took 2 1/2 hours to see and experience everything.
Go early in the day and you will have a great half day experience. Look for special coupons for a discount. We have been many times and never pay full price. They have Mothers Day & Fathers Day specials. You see more Butterflies if you are there in the morning. We fed the conures & my daughter loved the natural bridge. Its not a huge place but you and your children will learn while your are exploring. The snack bar is adequate and not over priced. My daughter loves the gift shop and My Mom goes there without visiting inside and goes to the Garden shop. You can get some very cool stuff in their gift shop. The prices are not that bad and you don't have to enter the attraction. They will tell you what to purchase to attract butterflies. We leave relaxed and happy. The music they play calms you. So you don't hear the turnpike around you. Enjoy.
I absolutely loved butterfly world. When my little sister told us that we were going to butterfly world, I thought that it would be boring, but I was very wrong. It was so beautiful and peaceful, the butterflies were beautiful, the exhibits were fun and educational, and you could interact with some animals. I think this is a great place to visit with your family, or by yourself, 5/5 stars, definitely consider going again.
Amazing experience to have hundreds of butterflies flying around everywhere. It was not a hit for my 3 year old, as he was terrified of the butterflies landing on him for some reason. Bug museum was fascinating, but beware they have live, active spider webs that are not enclosed!
A hidden gem and in my opinions a must see if you around the area. I have never seen so many butterflies in one place and they were all beautiful. Do bring a decent cam and you will be awarded with awesome photos. Suitable for families but admission is a little steep, make sure ypu bring coupons from the various tourist brochures.
beautiful!!! Highly reccomend to anyone touring around. It's like a little fairy tale inside.. so many butterflies and birds and flowers.. I spent 5 hrs in there. 30$ per adult, but totally worth it! The pictures and memories are priceless
Mr. Jackson and Amani (sorry if I have misspelled the name) were a big help to a little girl that loves bugs. Our milkweed and 6 Caterpillar have survived the air conditioned ride home.
If you like being just another person in an over crowded exhibit with extortionist prices be my guest. Europe and Asia have better exhibits. You can breed piano keys really well but I’m starting feel like your a one trick pony in the butterfly aspect. No moths and very few South American butterflies. In my opinion a very sterile environment.
We really love this place. However single day pass price is very high. We get either the summer or the annual pass. Go early in the morning to avoid the crowd. Also, if you have high end camera you will get some amazing shots.
Went here a couple of weeks ago with my fiance and it was AWESOME! It was about $30 per person I think to get in, which I understand because this is probably their main way of making money and the place is kinda big with a lot of creatures to take care of (people can stop complaining about the cost now, no one is forcing you to go here!!). Very serene and quiet and beautiful. We went mid afternoon and it wasn't crowded at all. Only a few other people who were nice and respectful and quiet. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The butterflies were beautiful and abundant and well taken care of. My fiance and I had an awesome time feeding the lorikeets! Sweet little birds. : ) Overall a great experience. We ended up purchasing some flower seeds because the flowers here are also incredible and wanted to try growing them here in NJ. <3
I have deleted my previous review and revise. I believe the admission is over-priced, but the customer service was appreciated. I was refunded and rep did follow up and refunded me full price. I just feel children should not be charged $25 per for 3+ year olds, my issue was never about adult admission price. Thanks
What an amazing place! Thousands of beautiful colorful butterflies flying around. I had a great experience here and loved it. Will definitely visit here again. Admission is pricey but well worth it.
A great place to go for a date I highly recommended it. It’s also just such a beautiful place to visit and see all the wonderful wild life there.
I absolutely love taking my children here - I’ve been coming here since I was a little girl. One of the boys I grew up in church with, his family was great friends with the owners. So we went a lot. Being able to bring my kids somewhere that I went to as a little girl is magical. It’s absolutely beautiful, many many kinds of butterflies & bird sanctuary, the big museum is also very neat. It’s a very pleasant and peaceful place to take the kiddos.
Advertised as world's biggest. Ive been to a couple of these types of places in different cities and this is by far the largest I've been to... And the most dense in terms of butterflies in there. A large percentage of the butterflies are a breed that exists only here. They've also got a few aviaries which are nice and a bug museum (dead)/zoo (alive) which was really interesting. Lots of walking stick bugs and beetles. Be aware that in the zoo area there live spiders that are not contained hanging from the ceiling. Not a problem unless youre 7 feet tall. Also impressive are the amount of exotic plants. Not overly manicured/arranged but abundant and vibrant. We went on South Florida Summer Adventure Passes so it was a good deal... But the deal exists because in the oppressive heat of summer this place and others like it have slower business were it not for discounted prices. Keeping that in mind, much of butterfly world is outdoors and while there's lots of places to find shade the heat (and regularly scheduled thunderstorms) is something something to consider.
The butterfly section was very beautiful. The aviary had very limited amount of birds, mostly parakeets and Java birds and Brazilian little black birds that provided nice chirping sounds. No attendants in the plant garden. The plants had no name or price. The Mariposa Cafe had low quality food and snacks. No lettuce or tomatoes for the hamberger. Most of the ice creams and ice drinks had a sold-out sticker. The store was well stocked and nicely displayed. The staff was generally nice and helpful.
Amazing experience ! We arrived at 3:30pm on Sunday, the entrance closes at 4pm and the actual World closes at 5pm. It was perfect timing because there was almost no people and not crowded. Saw a lot of pretty butterflies and was feeding parrots. The only thing I didn’t like is that I had to pay $4 to get into the park first and then another $32 for the entrance to the World. (There could be at least a discount or validation of park entrance)....
Wow! Calling it Butterfly world doesn’t do justice to the beautiful botanical gardens and many species of tropical birds also on exhibit. To walk among the incredible varieties of butterflies and flowering plants and birds brings calmness and joy. So worth the visit! Save your food money for a nearby cafe or restaurant, though. Only a small choice of cheap burgers hot dogs and ice cream on the grounds.
If you love butterflies then you'll probably love this place. Otherwise it's just nice to look at but very expensive. It's just butterflies, if you've seen one you've seen them all.
I left with a peaceful state of mind. Gardens are full of a variety of butterflies flying around you. So cute! Interacting with birds in a natural habitat while you sit & listen & enjoy their blissful chirping is so relaxing. There's a museum of insects, a snack bar, gift shop, they sell plants, restrooms are clean, wheelchair accessibility throughout the gardens, employees are informative and pleasant to talk to. Strongly recommend. The kids will love this place and so will you. I spent only 2hrs there (end of day) & didn't notice how quickly time passed.
I really do like it we can run do party's nice park my sister really really likes I enjoyed it we go there once a week
Incredible sights and unbelievable collection of butterflys, bugs and parrots. The place is pretty small but makes the most out of what it got
Beautiful, very colorful, with lots of flowers, easy listening classical music. Thousands of butterflies flying all around you, an aviary with small birds, great plants like a chocolate tree, coffee tree and other exotics. Weekend parking is extra and the price has gone up recently, a bit pricey for nature that I see everyday.
Every time we have guests visiting us from out of town, butterfly world is one of our go-to places. The serenity and the beauty of the environment is one of the special assets of Butterfly World. Spending the afternoon at this beautiful Park is a wonderful way to relax and de-stress as you walk through the magical gardens that will surround and encircle you with the calm. I highly recommend this as a bucket list place to visit.
Everything was wonderful. I was never around butterflies before, and it was an amazing experience. I especially liked the museum. It was cool to see the sizes and shapes of insects around the world. Good place to visit with the family. Get ready to be tired afterwards.
Butterfly heaven. We went not sure what to expect and couldn't have been more blown away by how many butterflies there were. Beautiful plant life, birds, and bugs as well!
Great place to visit if you have nothing else to do. Got lots of cool pictures here.
What a wonderful day. Be sure to buy the guide book. It has butterflies, birds, and plants to check off as you find them.
First you have to pay to get into the park where this is located. Then the admission for butterfly world is close to $30 per person and they don't even have a senior discount. I've been to other butterfly house/pavilions, this admission price is insane! I would have loved to see it but apparently they don't want seniors/retired person. For example the Key West Butterfly and Nature Conservatory is $10.75 for adults and $9.68 for seniors.
What a great visit we had to Key West. This was one of the highlights for me. My wife and myself enjoyed it very much,,,, butterflies have always been a great symbol of my life as my mother love them. I was fascinated enjoyed butterfly world. It’s great for the family.
I always love coming here! There’s a variety of butterflies roaming around but be careful to not touch them it is not allowed. Butterflies are for viewing purposes only. They have a great scenery, perfect for photos, a beautiful place to enjoy your day.
Nice park with lots of butterflies and the birds feeding for 2 dollars is a very nice activity
This place is a hidden gem in South Florida. Here you'll find a tranquil, walk-at-your-own-pace visual and auditory experience when you bring your family to see and learn about the plentiful butterflies and birds kept on site. The staff are friendly and helpful and seem to genuinely care about the wellbeing of the creatures under their care. When you visit, bring a few dollars in cash so you and your children can feed the lorikeets ($2/time at time of writing). The smiles and memories you'll gain will be worth every penny. If you're local, buy the annual pass if you think you'll be back more than once, as it's around the same price.
So beautiful. Butterflies all over. The colors were amazing. We got beautiful pictures.
Butterfly World was very peaceful and serene and had a beautiful display with a variety of butterflies. They also had gorgeous flora and aviaries with birds!
Fantastic spot I've visited twice now, each time spent about 3 hours. Lots of butterflies fluttering around, cute little birds, pretty flowers, soft music playing, and a few creepy-crawlies in the bug museum all makes it an experience.
Loved the large bird sanctuary. You can go there and buy lunch and sit down and look at beautiful birds and butterflys. The gift shop is beautiful.
Top notch educational entertainment! We always have a good time when we go!
So relaxing & beautiful. You must check it out & will love it. Nice day out!
We like to check out butterfly and nature type gardens when we travel. Love to see native species and plants in various locations. So far this is the best butterfly experience we have had. Beautiful facility, great location and thousands of butterflies! We literally spent 3 hours sitting and enjoying all there is to see. I must have take 300 pics. We went mid morning on Wednesday 2/6/19 and it was not crowded. You are able to go thru the facility as often as you like, so we went back to the butterfly area and just sat on some benches. There are also birds, insects and various plant exhibits to see. Enjoy!
Butterfly World is AMAZING!! We really love this place and cant wait to visit again ❤❤ Dont forget to checkout the other areas as well such as Lorikeet feeding ^_^ This is such a beautiful gem. Check it out for sure!!!
It was a great visit!! As soon as you enter the park, you have butterflies fluttering everywhere... it's the most beautiful feeling to see nature up close! I could sit there for hours, but they have more stuff to see. A small aviary and separate place for parrots too! There's a butterfly and bug museum. It's really fascinating for kids. Last but not least, their gift shop is too good!! You'll find all kinds of stuff on butterflies..books, scarves, handbags, mugs n stuff, pillows, decorations, magnets, jewelry and what not... it's very nicely organized (one of my favorite gift shops anywhere). We went on a weekday so it wasn't really crowded, I'm not sure how much busy they are on the weekends. It's also a great spot to get lovely pictures. All in all, you must visit, if you are fascinated by nature and enjoy beauty in it's raw form.
Beautiful place. Way underrated. We visited many botanical gardens and this is one of our favorites. So many exotic plants and animals. Feeding the birds was fun. Nice spot for a date.
Coworker and i took the kids, they got to take pics with parrots and saw some awesome spiders in the exhibit
Many, many small butterflies were flitting around. Some larger ones were there, as well. The plants were gorgeous, and the music was soothing. Lorie's and lorakeets were fun to watch. All in all, a peaceful, joyful experience.
Gorgeous lorikeets. Great to see the butterflies
Entrance ticket more than I expected. Very nice place to Visit. Love it. Food good price. But ice cream treats so expensive.
Such a great experience and awesome for kids. My 18 month old had the best time with the birds and butterflies. She especially loved feeding the lorikeets. The plants that they have there also are great! I found a jade vine that I have never seen before! Looking to get one for my yard. It’s pricey but I think it’s worth it- kids under 2 or 3, I don’t remember, are free.
Loved all the exhibits! Very educational and found myself smiling through it all!
Fun place however administration I feel a bit too expensive for what you get.
Beautiful, beautiful garden. Went for my birthday and absolutely enjoyed it. I love everything about Butterfly World. I definitely recommend the annual pass because once you go twice, it already pays for itself! I even purchased these beautiful earrings made of butterfly wings. Absolutely recommend Butterfly World to anybody! Side Note: It was a bit difficult to find at first (GPS is a little off).
It was amazing looking at my husband's face and smiling because he has Alzheimer and just watching him and seeing all the kids visiting it was great thank you Butterfly World
Overall great place to see butterfly's, birds and other critters. However, there should be more food options like chicken and fries...
This was our favorite part of our trip south! It was so beautiful and well maintained. We loved the interaction with all the animals!
Beautiful and relaxing. Very tranquil place. All stress and worries taken away as soon as I stepped into the butterfly garden. The bird garden was just as serene! Very informative and peaceful. Total Zen!
Unique experience. Really nice for the kids and also parents. Not a very big park for really well cared for.
Had a wonderful time visiting here with family while we were in town. The facility was very wheelchair and stroller friendly! We enjoyed seeing plants and even some fruit that we have never seen before. To top it off we got to see this little fella too.
Loved it, a great place for kids (especially girls) and families. It's worth the visit, and you will notice how workers there are taking their jobs seriously.
First visit, my 1y.o. loved the aviary. It's just too hot to go even in May, we will try again in the fall. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Beautiful to see the science and preservation of these magical creatures
So many butterflies! Amazing! Nicely laid out. Restrooms were small, food is basic; pizza, chips, sodas, etc. Birds were an additional part of showcases and it was very nice. Beautiful floral entrance with lovely music playing throughout. Group rate saves you money. A nice way to spend an afternoon.
A really beautiful special place.... my 7 year old autistic son was in heaven.
Beautiful structure to see and interact with nature in a controlled environment. Remember to be mindful & considerate of the establishment and the purpose it represents
A small-ish garden that contains an explosion of the most beautiful butterflies!! Fun experience: small toddlers were delighted! Other kids may enjoy at first ... Their gift shop is well stocked with all things butterflies: handle with care and Enjoy! :)
I was really surprised....it was enjoyable to the point im going back when is not full guest. A unique experience we all enjoyed it, from 13 to 79 years of age a real pleasure. Not just butterflies also birds and nice bug museum...
If you've never been there you should check it out. Definitely unique. As for those who've been there several times nothing ever really changes. Good or bad. There should be discounts for those who've been there a half a dozen times. As I can't see my self returning anymore at their current rates which keep increasing.
It was a gorgeous January Day and South Florida. We were looking for something for the family to enjoy. We were there with our 5 year olds and 10 year old granddaughters . There are a number of fenced-in enclosures with beautiful butterflies from throughout the world town with most of them being indigenous. That is also true of aviaries. I think there was one area spiders. They also have had some beautiful parrots and similar Birds which would perch on the patrons if the patrons were up to it. There is a lot of walking oh, but also a lot of places to just sit down and enjoy the view and the experience. I spoke to people who was there with their children and grandchildren. They were from different parts of the world, including Russia, England, Brazil, Canada, and various parts of the US including Texas, Southern California, and various Midwestern and Southern States. We were there for about an hour and a half and really enjoy this
Great for kids around Christmas they put up a pretty nice Christmas lights attraction!!! Also It's not 1 of those that before you know it you've driven the whole thing and it's over topper of deals!! It actually takes a minute to drive the entirety of the display so it's definitely worth checking out. However I do want to mention it's not free not to worry tho it's pretty cheap if I'm not mistaken no more then I believe $3 bucks I can't recall the exact amount tho I'm sorry!
Nice place. Peaceful and serene. Besides the Butterfly world, you have a gorgeous walk along the lake and several more amenities I was totally unaware of.
Play softball at the tradewinds park and it's always well kept fields
Super cool place to see exotic butterflies, insects, birds, and flowers. So many cool critters landed all over me. Highly recommend the bird feeding for $2. They climb all over your arms to get to a little cup of nectar. Jason, in the garden sales area, was supremely helpful and full of knowledge. We converted to a yearly membership and will be back!
This place is so beautiful. Worth every penny. The plants, butterflies, and my favourite - the birds. Everything is beautiful and a very relaxed atmosphere. The gift shop has such beautiful items as well. I didn't try the cafe but there were a lot of people eating there.
Always beautiful, and serene! It's amazing just how calming it is to be here and see all of the beauty they have to offer. It's difficult to describe the fact that there are butterflies everywhere and how amazingly beautiful it all is.
This is by far one of the most amazing places I've ever visited that allowed me to see so many different types of butterflies. There are so many and they are all so beautiful. I also recommend visiting the lorikeets and feeding them nectar. It is a lot of fun and the birds are very friendly. If you are in the area you must come here or you're doing yourself a disservice. Also make sure to bring your camera or a backup battery pack for your phone because you will want to take lots and lots of pictures.
Great attraction! So many beautiful butterflies and exhibits! Birds, bugs, waterfall, playground!
Is a good park to walk around with the family
Great place to take a kid. Lots of butterflies and other insects to see. Butterflies are everywhere and can land on you at any time. The price is slightly high for a single visit, but if you are local the annual pass is a great deal and makes the price much more reasonable.
It was amazing. Our adults and children alike delighted in the butterflies and birds. The insect museum and zoo were facinating. The cost of admission is about $30 no discounts for children, seniors. $1 guide. Gift shop is nice and they sell exotic plants and seed.
Went today and truly beautiful. Enjoyed my time there. The only thing was this one employee Lisa was so rude. Screaming at everyone "DON'T TOUCH THE BUTTERFLIES" Yes, I understand you don't want guests to touch them as it can hurt them and you have polices. But it's not what you say, it is the way you say things. And the way she was saying things was rude, making kids upset and uncomfortable and making people just not want to be there and not having fun. Someone like that should not be working in a family environment.
Spectacular! It has something for everyone butterflies, bugs, plants and exotic birds. Very entertaining and educational.
I took my daughter her she was kinda scared at 1st. She loved it in the end, Butterflies are my MOM'S FAVORITE
Friendly, clean, interesting place to learn and enjoy one of the most beautiful little creatures that God made for us.
A rare treat. Magical. You can spend an entire day here. Lunch stand was bland and unremarkable. Byo. Bring a camera. Amazing sights!
Very beautiful place! Tropical plants and flowers everywhere, thousands of beautiful butterflies, birds in all shapes and sizes and several interesting exhibitions. Definitely a must-see if you appreciate beautiful nature.
My family and I had a wonderful time.
Wonderful butterfly and bird experience. Doesn’t change much at all so after a couple of visits would like to see some updates, new attraction, etc.
Absolutely beautiful, my first time here and i literally cried because its just unbelievable. Definitely coming back!!
Such a beautiful, educational and peaceful presentation of the butterflies birds and insects. Thoroughly support their mission and appreciate their commitment to preservation and propagation.
Butterfly world is great for everyone. The flowers, butterflies, museum, and birds are beautiful.
When you walk into the butterfly area its so beautiful. Butterflies of all colors and sizes everywhere. Heavenly...bug zoo section not for me
very beautiful and lovely place full of flowers fragrance and butterflies all around. going to this place always gives me relaxation and peace of mind. It has a bird habitat near it , you can always hear the chirping sound of birds around you which actually makes you feel good.
Beautiful place and very peaceful. Nice variety of butterflies and birds. Staff are friendly. You can take your time and relax without feeling rushed.
This place is awesome!!! If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and put this on your places to see! You can see workers cleaning out rearing cages, caterpillars happily munching on their host plants, and see newly eclosed (emerged) butterflies hanging out on their pupae (chrysalises). Hundreds of butterflies will flit and zoom past you, so you may want to take a few movie clips of them along with photos where they may be blurry. Some will be posing for you if you look carefully. There are also birds in avaries, some in with the butterflies. The flowers are also gorgeous, and they also sell some tropical plants. A museum on site also hosts live insects, as well as artfully displayed mounted insects. And the gift shop has a lot of beautiful and bright items to browse, admire, and buy. Refreshments and food can also be purchased. We raise butterflies, and I used to run a butterfly house at a nature center up north. I had to wait for over a decade to finally see this awesome place when we were in Florida. Even my hubby who was like, "we're doing this trip for *you*" whipped out his camera and excitedly pointed out some posing butterflies.
We really enjoyed it! The gardens were beautiful in spite of the extra hot weather and not much blooms in a August. We were surrounded by lovely butterflies in many colors and chirping birds. It's a great place for nature lovers and those who enjoy creation.
We loved it! Lots of butterflies and birds. Even when it was 93° it's fun! We drove from Tampa and it was worth the drive. Super nice people that work there and they obviously love their job since they talk with great passion. The gift shop is not over priced and has nice stuff. They have a plant that is touch sensitive, pretty cool to touch. I won't tell you what happens so it won't ruin the surprise!
Magical!!! I would go everyday if it wasn't so pricey. I loved it! The staff could be more friendly. The guy with the birds was so detached towards my family and I, We paid to feed the birds and had to stand there listening to him gossip to a friend about nonsense while he ignored my family and I. Thankfully we were having such a good time his attitude couldn't ruin it. the staff definitely needs work or replacement but otherwise worth the money...
Loved the attraction! Very nice place to visit and relax. Unfortunately the price was too much in my opinion. Maybe they can do a Fl resident discount in the future.
Beautiful this time of the year. It was full of new butterflies and beautiful flowers. It was a great place to spend a Sunday. They have discount options with flyers as well as specials on holidays. Today on mother's day mother's got in at a discount. Highly recommend checking this place out, just make sure to bring light clothing and water as it gets really hot!
Wonderful. Butterfly area is like you are in the fairy tale, flying all over. Just make sure you don't step on them, watch your step. The whole park is great, great family time. The entrance women bathroom was not taken care of properly, lack of staff? I don't know, but i recommend the park manager to tell the janitor to check the bathrooms regularly, being that its a lot of traffic.
Very nice place to visit full of things to see and do. From the butterfly’s roaming in the entrance to the insect zoo relaxing and entertaining. If your in south Florida come visit butterfly world
Nice place for children and adults. The butterflies and birds are beautiful and in a very relaxing environment. Also liked the Insect Museum
I had a great time here with my 4 year old. It was very engaging and there is park right outside kids can play in afterwards. Great spot for photo ops!
Beautiful and calming!! Loved visiting ill definitely go again
Amazing experience, a must see if you like butterflies.
So beautiful!! Great place for a date, for kids, family and seniors. But is very hot!!!
A dream place. Where you can see beautiful butterfly's very close up. I is a very romantic place. Very peaceful. There are all sorts of butterfly's and birds. The whole park is very clean and easy to walk thru. It is 30 dollar per person entry fee. But there is s lot to see and to do.
It's a nice way to spend your Saturday!! There's is a lot of information about the butterflies and a nice collection of flowers. There is a cafeteria to grab a quick bite or something to drink and of course a gift shop. I just think it's a bit overpriced at $30 dls x adult.
It's a phenomenal place. I'm sure it's a splitting image of Heaven. To be honest its a little costly for the family. We're not doing that great. We went last weekend to celebrate the 31st anniversary and it cost $10. Great experience
I loved this place! Excellent learning experience with or without children. Loved seeing the butterflies roaming around in a beautiful enclosure as well as the birds they are well taken care of. Plants and the different species of flowers are unique. They also had a insect exhibit. This place is open rain or shine.. 70% of this exhibit is outdoors, so be aware you will be walking!!!!
This is one of my favorite places to relax and just enjoy nature when I'm in Florida. Not just the butterflies, but the gardens and rare fruit trees so well cared for. It's a haven in a crazy, busy non-stop city.
What a wonderful and relaxing place. If you like taking pictures you will love this place.
Beautiful, not so cheap .. but it is worth it ..I say yes ..go and enjoy those butterflies
Love this place! So peaceful and calm and so many butterfly's!!
Outstanding place for all to enjoy. Good prices . At this time I would suggest you bring some water in a backpack and keep hydrated.
Wonderful place clean and lovely birds plants and butterflies. Love the garden area and the enclosed bird and butterfly areas. Nice to explore with family and friends, the workers need better training with customer service and missing the welcoming smiles. Hot this time of the year June so make sure you bring water and keep hydrated and sunglasses and hats to keep cool. Please do not touch the butterflies this can harm them.
Friendly staff, beautiful birds, plants, and of course butterflies. A must see
Amazing collections of butterflies and birds. Great place to take family and friends when they visit!
My mother loved the experience. Beautiful, magical and the music perfect. Tranquil relaxing.
What a lovely place to visit, especially with children! It was interesting to see how they cultivate the butterfly population. As you walk through each screened area, you can't help but be captivated by the wide variety and colors of the butterflies. There are also a variety of birds and plants of interest. For people who enjoy nature, this is a location that should not be missed!!
It was very entertaining for the most part. It's not massive by any means nor is it small. Most of the employees are nice. In advance you should know not to take pictures in the gift shop. I didn't know this, and was rudely told not to. But besides that I would recommend it.
Although it was pricey, I like that there was a fee to get in. Less people is more peaceful, and this place is a nature reserve I believe. Very nice place for a stroll. Maybe sit on a bench and enjoy the areas. The first area has so many butterflies. Really cool! I was waiting for Disney princesses to start singing. lol! For a few extra bucks, my kid could hold bird food and tropical birds landed in him. You can also see some bugs and tarantula spiders. I found this place tranquil and quaint. Sorry, no butterfly pics. Hard to do it justice, they are everywhere in perfect numbers. No swarms. Haha.
Beautiful location and so many butterflies! Albeit a bit expensive, the money supports the research and facility that leases from Broward Parks and Recreation., so it is for a good cause. The exhibits and walk through are fun and educational.
Although there were hoards of people like myself there to take advantage of the reduced rate, the park was still tranquil and a unique experience. I would definitely return on a less busy day and take more time. Going on an overcast day helps tremendously beat the heat. There are a few shaded areas in the park and there is an area with misters too. Bring a water bottle but if you forget there is a cafeteria and stand with all kinds of drinks, food and snacks.
Definitely recommend going at least once (I would go when they have an entry special, I'm not sure that $50+ is worth it). This place has a calming, gentlr vibe. Additionally, THE MOST BUTTERFLIES YOU'LL EVER SEE IN ONE PLACE. Great for children but it can be crowded so larger strollers might be a pain to navigate around the butterfly enclosure with. Definitely worth checking out!
What's not to like? It's live butterflies flying all around you, a solid educational experience and you can even buy your own cocoon to watch hatch into a butterfly! Staff are always friendly and kind. Special note, having one cocoon is like having no backup plan. Not all of them develop quite right, so buy 2 or 3 and you won't be dissapointed.
It was an amazing experience and beyond gorgeous! Great place for everyone to spend a few hours. There's plenty of seating and scenic views for when you inevitably need to take a rest.
Expensive but magical. There's just something about being surrounded by thousands of beautiful butterflies. Even our son really enjoyed it. The buildings aren't beautiful, but the gardens and butterflies are. Also a great place to just sit and relax. This is a place worth visiting whether you are a local or a visitor. Look for coupons!!
Beautiful walking through so many butterflies. Kids can use the 1 dollar book to check which ones they have seen. And a nice playground outside for when you are done. Definitely a place to visit!
Butterfly world is such an amazing place to go. My girlfriend and I loved it. We got to feed the birds and my girlfriends daughter loved to feed the birds as well. Definitely a place I will come back to!
Great place. I brought my kids and my bug zapper to teach my kids the true meaning of life. It's fun to catch the butterflies by the wings and spray bug spray on them. me and the kids enjoyed the puzzles made of the torn up wings. You can't smoke cigs, but you can still smoke ants with a magnifying glass. we gave the term "fire ants" a whole new meaning. the best part is when we got to invent a new bug! i invented the hot lady bug. it's like those fire ants but a lady bug. we made crafts with glue, chicken, and a sewing kit we got at the gift shop. i made my two lovely kids meat teddy bears. Overall, the experience is a unique one that reminds me of my own childhood. the gardens have great salad leafs and worms that eat the salad. i loved the activities. the hands on interaction with live and no longer alive butterflies helped me teach my kids what life and death means for them. the kids enjoyed picking up the bugs and collecting then inside of empty cans of pepsi i found in the luxurious parking lot. amazing gift shop, they were shocked to say the least. the kids also enjoyed the crafts session that took place in the back of the parking lot held by a local man who was a former child predator. Will come again with fireworks and a lawnmower.
