Thank you so much for making this wonderful memorial to the dedication of police history in Florida possible. We both had a fascinating insight into the life of the police and the evolution of the cars and equipment used over the years. To all the brave police officers who served and unfortunately given their lives in their duty, we would like to send our gratitude. Thank you for letting us use your shooting range and using your weapons. We were well supervised and the tour is good fun too. Hopefully we will pass by again soon.
Upon our arrival we felt impressed with the exterior of the grounds and building. Entering the building you see Police vehicles on display. You can get a map of the museum to guide you through the many static displays. A solemn memorial to the fallen officers is beautifully constructed and presented in the center of room. They have many historical artifacts including uniform patches from all around the United States. Various restraint and execution methods are setup. One very interesting device was a digital counter that records many different crimes frequency in real time. The gift shop and restrooms are very nice. We definitely enjoyed the visit.
This is a very special place for my family and I. We come for the ceremony every year, without fail. The folks who run the organization are some of the kindest and most genuine people you'd ever like to know. The museum is absolutely amazing. It is a must see. I really enjoy every visit we make.
Fantastic museum and hall of fame. This place was great very well kept. The hall of fame memorial was really neat, every fallen officer in the United states is there since 1960. They also have tons of fun activities for you do along with a simulator for real world experiences. The staff were very nice and friendly. Also the price to get in is $13 for adults which is definitely worth it. There is so much to see and read there. Would definitely recommend coming here.
Really cool place to see some police and crime memorabilia.
We used thier meeting room. It was convient and great for out group of 10 people.
Five stars for supporting law enforcement! You guys are the best!
Beautiful place to visit that is full of amazing law enforcement history. This place is clean, the staff is extremely friendly and they have many displays to look at that will educate you about law enforcement from past eras till now. If you or anyone in your family has even the slightest interest in law enforcement or the history of law enforcement than this place is a must visit!.
We didnt actually visit the museum, but picked up the geocache in their carpark, whilst on the way back from KSC. The exterior is very impressive and the lady who was lowering the flag didnt run over to arrest us for looking suspicious!
So much to see. They have so many police cars. You can sit in one and also a motorcycle. They have a gas chamber and electric chair. Beautiful entrance. Definitely worth going to if in area
Nice place where they Honor the fallen officers who gave the ultimate sacrifice
Is unbelievable!!! Good place for the whole family. A must see.
This is one range I will never go again. I did my concealed carry cert there a few years ago and that was amazing, after that I started shooting there almost weekly on the week-ends for about 6 months. I decided to go one week night after work and since then I've never been back. I got treated like a second class person and insulted by one of the staff. I will never return.
Very interesting
Easy parking, pretty cheap to get in especially if you're a LEO. A lot of fun exhibits to look at and a lot of interactive things. They did a great job with the museum. There is also a large memorial wall dedicated to officers who were killed in the line of duty. Lady at the front desk was super friendly and informative. Worth the stop for sure.
Great place to enjoy
This place is an incredible display of law enforcement memorabilia. If you're not a rookie, you'll recognize a lot of the equipment.
Shooting range was great. Tour was well done.
Well maintained and very clean shooting range. Very affordable
Very nice place. I go there often to get pictures of fallen officers' names for friends in other areas. The museum and displays are interesting. The gun range is clean, modern, & efficient. Staff on hand to help or coach you if you ask, or they will just let you shoot if you don't.
Very cool experience! Must see to appreciate. Lost in service memorial is very humbling and respectful.
Excellent staff. Super good trading!
If you pass this on your travels then please stop and have a look around. Lots of things to see and very informative. Friendly staff on hand to answer any questions. The memorial in the centre is quite an emotional place to visit especially when you see how many names of Fallen Police Officers are listed, i took a photo of this but for some strange reason it felt wrong, so I deleted it. Would definitely visit again if i ever travel to Orlando again. Rating 10/10. *****.
Great museum and they have a shooting range!!
Very nice firing range.
Love love love coming here!! Everyone is super helpful and nice!
Really Enjoyed it!!!
Pretty cool
Great dedication to our law enforcement force. Very humbling to visit. Would recommend this as a place to visit for anyone.
This is a fantastic range with an excellent staff. They are helpful with new shooters as well as long term shooters. Ventilation is excellent and they have several nice firearms to rent if you need or want to rent. I highly recommend going here and it is worth the drive.
Beautiful museum and lots of interesting exhibits and displays. Really liked the 9/11 exhibit made me cry the first time I saw it, it is done very well and respectful. They have lots of police vehicles, firearms, and equipment on display as well as info on what and how they are used. My favorite is the forensic exhibit. Overall a great place to visit for adults and children. And if you enjoy shooting they also have an amazing indoor gun range with a/c also they have many different types of guns to rent! Even a few fully automatic's which I appalled and recommend you shoot, they are lots of fun. Friendly and helpful staff members to assist or answer any questions you may have. My family and I go there every Sunday.
Great indoor range, and museum and history of police work.
Amazing place honoring all facets of Law Enforcement. Their place of Honor is very sobering and somber.
We used the indoor shooting range. Cert nice and clean!
Great place to shoot. Very safe with a terrific staff.
They actually have retired police officers do your weapons training. Good place to learn gun safety.
Ace I'm boring place to visit or anyone involved in law enforcement
Excellent place.
Very informative and the Americans certainly honour their heroes. Wonderful.
Great service great employees
As an active member of law enforcement and second generation, I found the museum to be very informative and respectful to fallen heroes.
Loved every minute of it. The guys at the desk were very helpful. Just an all around awesome experience. Lot of stuff to see and learn.
I love it
The is a great place to learn about history of the United States. This place may be small but it’s well deserving. Great for kids. Employees couldn’t be better. The gun range was a fun place too.
I was at this museum 13 years ago and it was intresting then as a 13 year old even more intresting and heart tugging at 26. Took my dad this time then went to the range aswell. Great experience with both the museum and the range. Will return when I'm back in town.
What a nice facility....very clean and well done...don't pass this museum up.
Good museum but not worth driving an hour from Orlando just to visit the museum. As it takes max an hour you can plan early morning visit while your visiting Kennedy space center
This place was so neat to see, thousands of patches from all over the U.S., tribute police cars, old police cars, movie cars, mobster displays, jail displays, crime scene section, both current and historical law enforcement equipment, a memorial wall for all officers killed in the line of duty, a kids puppet and dress up section, a kids movie theater and so much more. The attraction is just up the road from Kennedy Space Center aside from that there is not many other things near there, but it is not to far from Cape Canaveral or cocoa beach and other food or attractions. I had my younger kids with me and they enjoyed it. We took about 2-3 hours to see the exhibits, you could probably take more time or less if needed depending on how into it you want to get. It was not busy at all when we went on a Saturday afternoon. The cost varies but for law enforcement or survivors it is $2, adults were $13 kids were $4 to $8 depending on age.
We love shooting here. The tactical practice they offer every Friday is great training for real world moving and defense. The range itself is clean and well run. The ventilation system is a little behind more modern facilities, but not enough to stop us from coming. You’ll get equivalent smoke lingering on an outdoor range. Staff is wonderful and always willing to offer advice. Pro shop is fairly small. The museum is a great place to go and not only honor our LEO’s but also to see some cool police and not quite so police stuff (Robocop anyone!).
Nice target range
This was the first Police Museum in the US. They have added to it over the years. They have a crime scene for you to evaluate; an electric chair; a 9/11 memorial; crime fighting through the years with photos and newspaper articles on Al Capone and Elliott Ness, and many others; information and displays of guns and ammunition; display of make shift “weapons”; and a kids dress up area as police. Lots of different displays including police cars and motorcycles through the years. They have a great display of police badges from around the US. In one corner they have a toy room where they gift wrap new toys they buy with donations and any police officer’s children whose parent has been killed while on duty are sent a gift for their birthday and Christmas every year until they turn 18 in memory of their parent. Very moving! In the center of the museum they have a Very Well Done Memorial to police officers who have died during duty.
Excellent experience. Pay your respects to these men and women.
Honor and support our law enforcement heroes by visiting this museum. It's filled with respect to history and those who have given their lives to protect us here in the United States. We thank those who have worked so hard to keep this museum for all to enjoy.
Great gun range
Every cool experience. You learn a lot about policing throughout the year. I think everyone should take the time and go check out this museum.
Very cool to see Matt & Diogi's car in a wonderful museum. The wife and I both are retired LEO's. This was a neat place to visit, but it will weigh heavy on your heart. Beautiful memorial.
I loved it took my ❤️
Great place. Very educational. Hands on things for kids.
If you support our law enforcement then this is a place that you should be on your list of things to see in Florida... It is a very surreal experience to see all the names of our fallen officers... AMERICA NEVER FORGETS !!!
A little pricey if you're not X military or law enforcement but a really nice range
Loved this place. Great detailed exhibits, and a large memorial located at the museum.
Amazing place and great staff
Shooting range excellent. Everyone was very helpful.
The staff were friendly and encouraging. This was the first local range I found comfortable and interested in enough to consider membership in over 3 decades. The range safety staff are as good as any I’ve had in any military range.
My family and I had a wonderful time at the museum and gun range. The museum is beautiful, spent hours and could have spent more. The staff at the gun range was unbelievable. Everyone was so sweet and patient. I would especially like to mention Paula. She took the time to understand what we were looking for and gave us great recommendations on the perfect gun. Joe (and a sweet gentleman whose name I cannot remember) were wonderful while on the range. They showed us how each gun worked and everything we needed to know to shoot safely (and to have fun!) We will absolutely be coming back!
Today was my first day to the range that they have here. It is absolutely a fantastic gun range with great instructors. The ventilation system inside the gun range is second to none. They also teach active shooter situations and what to do if that's something you're into. The staff is extremely friendly helpful courteous and kind. Overall had a great experience and I expect to be back soon. The prices to use the gun range are reasonable also
Incredibly informative! Would've liked if there were guides to explain more about the exhibits. Thankful for the experience!
I am humbled. Thank you to the men and women in blue who risk thier lives daily to keep ours safe. Amazing museum of police history. Hands on for young children. A must see.
Was much more robust than I expected. Lots of historical stories and artifacts from the Wild West through to present day. The fallen officers memorial was especially striking and heartbreaking and I appreciate that they have tissues available). Definitely worth the price of admission!
Very well done.
The staff is fantastic and the museum is very good at highlighting the importance and humanity within police officers. The museum in my opinion holds very little for kids under 14, the real value is to see how every little thing they do and use is to serve us, sometimes costing them their life. Those who go out everyday, to protect everyday citizens duly deserved a place like this. There's a gun range here too, and the staff is awesome.
Excellent atmospherépoca, law enforcement historical momentums, patriotic, gtest shooting range.
What a cool place. Very informative and worth the visit if you happen to be in the area. As a retired LEO, I enjoyed seeing the historical items and stories.
My husband and 13 yr old took in the museum today. They both loved it. They returned home with stories of what the museum offers. They saw forensic equipment, vintage police cars, and of course, learned the horrific story of, Officer Matt Williams and his canine partner, Diogi, both gunned down following a routine traffic stop. Officer Matt's police cruiser is on display, and is a profound reminder of the risks law enforcement face everytime the uniform is donned. This is a great experience for everyone. My only regret, is that I didn't get to see it too.
Punching holes in paper and supporting Law enforcement!
Very, very informative.
I must see for all LEO. Moving tributes to past and present.
A great museum and memorial. Affordable and fun for all.
Such a cool place . I never expected so much stuff and the very cool cop cars !!
Great gun range and friendly staff
Super cool place to visit. Lots of different displays. Cars, motorcycles and a fake jail. Very neat. Employees were very very nice.
Love the place .. My respect goes to those who sacrificed their lives in the name of justice and for their people. They deserve to be remembered as heroes...
A large collection of police artifacts, both past and present. We found it very interesting. We were not hurried and spent most of the day there. Allow yourself plenty of time to completely absorb all the wonderful displays.
Great place they are eager to help the unknowing right up to the professional, They have a great staff, very clean place, air conditioned, reasonable rates you pay for the day not the hour you could bring your own ammo. large selection of targets to buy. Also if you don't have a weapon to use you could rent one of theirs even a machine gun. So if you're looking for a safe and professional place to go to learn or place to go to practice or even enjoy shooting your weapon this is the place to be. All handgun ammo is allowed but call to make sure that your ammo is allowed. Who knows maybe next week you'll see me there. So enjoy be safe and happy blinking
Perfect way to pay honor to our men and women in law enforcement. Many, many displays showing artifacts dating back to the infancy of law enforcement in America. I was moved to tears seeing the names of those Officers who have given the ultimate sacrifice on "the wall."
Excellent exhibits!
The level of respect shown for law enforcement is incredible.
Awesome experience. I would recommend this as a place to stop.
Interesting place.
Amazing place.
Amazing historical items on display, touches the heart. Tremendous work by the staff.
Great respect and honor shown to fallen officers. The staff was friendly and very helpful.
Safe feeling range. Fun classes, awesome patch collection. I enjoyed my time here and cannot wait to visit again soon!
Great place to vist
Honor and support our law enforcement heroes by visiting this museum. It's filled with respect to history and those who have given their lives to protect us here in the United States. We thank those who have worked so hard to keep this museum for all to enjoy.
Greatest law enforcement museum in all of Florida;. It's a must visit!!
Favorite Place in Orlando Florida
Love my peeps in blue.......
My first time shooting and was I ever pleased. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Not knowing exactly what I was doing, they stepped right in and made sure I was holding the gun correctly, and gave me the confidence I needed! Well worth it, I'd like to visit again soon and maybe take classes.
It is very nicely done. Our group had a great time. They have a patch from every police agency, a memorial wall and a chapel. This is in addition to their extensive displays.
Accepted my foreign law enforcement role for discounted entry which was surprising and very much appreciated. A nice museum to do in a morning or afternoon, doesn't need more than a couple of hours but enough to interact with and explore to keep you occupied a short while. Really helpful and nice staff. If you're nearby with an hour or two to kill and have any interest in the police then check it out
For my first time using the range..it was the best experience. Helpful staff and felt comfortable with others that were there.
A lot of interactive animations, the kids spent a great time (the parent as well)
Was leaving the Kennedy Space Center and thought why not? Definitely glad I stopped in. Lots to see. Expect to spend an hour or two.
We go to the shooting center for weekly team competitions. Started years ago as a novice and found the staff and environment to be friendly and helpful. They have a variety of classes and competitions, some are just for women.
Disappointed - they closed early! We left Kennedy Space Center early so we could tour the American Police Hall of Fame, but when we showed up 40 minutes before they closed, the man working told us his boss said he could close at 5:30, if no one was there. But it was 5:20, and he already shut everuthing down, so he said to come back tomorrow, like I was going to drive another 1.5 to come the next day. Very disappointed. Hours posted should be hours open.
Very nice memorial to fallen brothers and sisters.
Very hambling to see this place. Pay your respects and appreciate their service.
The American Police Hall of Fame is a memorial dedicated to all law enforcement personnel who have lost their lives while on activity duty. The museum contains a very unique collection of memorabilia and inventions created and used for both law enforcement and illegal activities. It is a very interesting and educational experience.
Amazing experience! I suggest everyone to visit it! It shows a lot of things that usually are not showed, like equipment ecc.. It also has a memorial for the police officer fallen in action, getting inside that room made me shiver, the museum made a great job for preserving the memory of those heroes that gave their lives trying to keep this beautiful country a safer place. Will definitely go back again!
Very interesting place to visit...highly recommend
Cool place to visit.
Somewhat disappointing. Although the displays are great, it was a little out dated. Everything was from 10+ years ago. One employee was walking around without a shirt on and eventually checked us out at the gift shop wearing a white "wife beater". Gift shop wasn't much either. Lots of past event shirts and a lot of the souvenirs were cheap generic stuff you may find in a flea market.
Definitely worth the visit. My 9 year old son loved it. It gave us all a lot of knowledge and we will definitely recommend everyone to give this museum a visit. In the middle of the museum there is a big memorial wall for those policemen/women who have lost their lives.
Great law enforcement museum. Police cars, equipment, and the Memorial Wall. Expect to spend at least 2 hours here.
Is great place
If you are truly interested in the subject material I would recommend giving this area four hours. The displays are quite detailed and the staff is very knowledgeable about any additional questions that you may have. The memorial Wall is stunning and will take your breath away. they have actual vehicles used from situations where officers have fallen in the line of duty. The memorial for Matt Williams and his K-9 partner DOG is a sombering reminder of what officers have to deal with on a daily basis. They also offer a top-of-the-line gun range that is absolutely amazing. The pricing is extremely affordable and they allow you to rent machine guns if that piques your interest. Please support your local law enforcement and local museums as this is not operated at a major financial gain.
An incredible museum! The police vehicles on display were a real treat... from cars to snowmobiles. God bless the men and woman who protect us! The shooting range was a great! Thanks for the training!
This place was amazing and the staff were really helpful! I learned that they are much more than a fantastic museum. They also have nationwide programs for families of fallen police officers, families of injured and disabled officers, and active duty police. This is a wonderful organization to support.
Great dedication to those that serve in law enforcement. 3rd week of every year is Police Memorial weekend and a ceremony is held on site for all officers fallen in the line of duty. Truly a great respect for those serving and those at the end of their watch.
Best Gun range around, Friendly and Helpful Staff!!
Awesome range! The staff is always so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!
First time here and I guarantee it will not be the last due to the fact that the place is clean the people are friendly and helpful the instructors go out of their way to help you I felt like I had been a pro at this with the help of the instructor thank you great God for a safe place to go shoot and learn about safety and protecting myself and my family and others
Fantastic museum full of a rich history of Law Enforcement and crime! Great for all ages!
A lot of respect for the fallen officers
A wonderful tribute and history lesson of Florida policing and a Memorial Hall to those fallen in the line of duty including canines. A definite must-see and highly recommend!
My favorite indoor range. Friendly knowledgable team that runs a safe range. Lots of league and special event opportunities. Get on their email list.
Highly recommend for LEOs and fans
Great class for people interested in learning personal safety. Thank you Tara!
Small museum, but still covers a lot of ground. The memorial section is especially heartfelt to anyone who has lost loved ones. A small 9/11 memorial is included. Special $2 admission for anyone in law enforcement is especially appreciated.
Nice museum and reasonable price
Beautiful place to visit that is dull of amazing law enforcement history. This place is clean, the staff is extremely friendly and they have many displays to look at that will educate you about law enforcement from past eras till now. If you or anyone in your family has even the slightest interest in law enforcement or the history of law enforcement than this place is a must visit!
Mom (80 yrs young) and myself spent 2 hours. Was wonderful! Lots to read but also some interactive items. Would have stayed another hour but skipped some exhibits that were not my personal interest. Highly recommend.
A great place. Lots of memorabilia.
we had an amazing experience in the hall of fame with my girlfriend, there are many interesting things to see on how the police work in America, from where i live in Europe Belgium there's nothing comparable, American police is more efficient, and probably much respected. We also try the shooting center actually we had to because coming their without shooting with some guns is a waste! nothing negative to say about that, the instructor was very friendly
Better than I thought. More enjoyable. Much respect for the police depts
Great museum, don't miss it.
Excellent educational programs. Great museum and the best gun range and proshop on the Space Coast of Florida.
