I attended an archaeology and heritage festival. The museum has a science center and natural history museum as well as a preserved historic schoolhouse built in 1923 to serve African American students. The festival theme was the history of agriculture in Delaware and in the vicinity of the museum. There were archaeological investigations and a host of historic skills demonstrations including a Time Chef and Colonial beer maker. So much to do for all ages!

I signed up my son for one of Iron Hill's summer week-long camp program, where they explored, hiked, and learned about fossils, dinosaurs and other interesting stuff. They even built a working volcano. We also went on a trip to The Academy of Science Museum of Drexel (in Philly). This camp was led by a friendly, well-organized staff. I felt that my son was safe with this particular group and he had a lot of fun. We'll definitely sign up for next summer's weekly camp programs.

The wild life and rock collection is second to none. The bath rooms are clean and water fountain are two sizes high and low, adult and kid. Outside is rustic as though the wild animals in the museum roamed the land.

I enjoy the park for the scenery and exercise
