DESCRIPTION

Here you will be able to see all the reviews of people like you who use the products and services of C & D Canal Museum (Museum) near to the state of Delaware.

Currently the business has a score of 4.5 out of 5 and this score is based on 33 reviews.

As you can see the average score it has is almost the highest, and it's founded on a very high number of feddbacks, so we may think that the valuation is quite faithful. If many people have bothered to give their score when they've done well with the business, is that it works.

You know that we do not usually stop to place tatings when they are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...

This Museum is classified in the category of Museum.

Marty Dekkers

Cool and educational place. I spent 30 minutes looking at the exhibits, and left with a little more knowledge than when I arrived. I especially enjoyed the boat models and the water lift station, which is completely original.

Looking for a short day trip? Well here's a good one. Snuggled in the middle of Chesapeake City Maryland is the C & D Canal House Museum. It's not a fancy place, but it's quiet where you can take a self guided tour and learn about the history of the canal, the area around the canal and the people. There are interactive models of the old canal locks as well as some actual equipment used along the canal. Afterwards you can walk the grounds and if you're lucky maybe even get to see a huge container ship go by. If you're into antiques there are local shops in nearby Chesapeake City.
