I was there with my guys last year for checking out an really cool and an very interesting history museum in my entire hometown. We have an awesome selection of Civil War stuff includes rifles, badges, uniforms and other things like old photos of Rockville people who entered Civil War from the past. Mr. Reardon is an very smart, very nice, and an responsible guy whose known everything about Civil War stuff. New England Civil War Museum is an iconic history museum in Vernon-Rockville and it's an perfect spot for locals and travelers who might learned about Civil War History. I'm definitely going back there again with my guys very soon.

What an extremely wonderful experience! We came on father's day after a baseball game. If you get a chance to visit and love history, we encourage it. We will definitely be back to research a few names for civil war. Everyone was so friendly!

fuxkin rock tard u rock head We've lived in Willington for a year now and have had the best experiences with all town transfer station workers. They've helped empty bulk items off the truck and are very knowledgeable of what goes where. Keep up the great work guys.

Very informative and very cool. Most of the items on display are original and have been given to the museum from descendents of the owner. Really comprehensive stuff. Everyone needs to check this place out.

A hidden gem for history buffs! Check out their website for really interesting presentations! We attended the fall "haunted history" talk last year and learned about some local civil war soldiers, the museum's resident ghost! We just went to a talk about the making of the movie "Gettysburg", presented by actor Patrick Falci, who played Lieut. General A.P. Hill in the movie. Energetic and lively, highly informative and interesting "behind the scenes" of an epic movie by a consummate actor and Civil War historian! If you weren't there and you are a Civil War buff, you missed out on a fantastic evening! Check out their programs, and don't miss out again!!
