You may never have thought to visit this museum as you may not be a Knight or Catholic. However, there are some great displays for WWII buffs and a beautiful 9/11 memorial. Overall, it's very well done.

Great place to visit with the family, by yourself or on a date! It has free admission, but you are encouraged to provide a donation. Although, the building has 3 to 4 floors only the first floor is currently accessible to the public. For those so inclined you can begin your perusal of the facilities by watching a movie about a missing soldier. The experience is quiet something.

Very interesting museum; I enjoyed looking at the multiple religious artifacts displayed and the history that's given throughout, love the fact that the museum pays tribute to all those who perished on 9/11 with accompanying artifacts, quiet, very comfortable setting, near Union Station.

Great museum. They have a lot of very interesting exhibits with friendly and knowledgable staff to point the way. Free parking and free admission to boot means this is a spot everyone should visit at least once when in the area.

A low-key museum with decent exhibitions. I was the only visitors there one afternoon but I fully enjoyed my stay by learning and seeing a number items associated with World War I. I can clearly feel that this museum indeed put a lot efforts in presenting their collections (along with other items loaned from other places) in a lively and easy-to-follow style. Located near the Union Station. Would recommend ~1 hr visiting there before you take off or drop someone off for this nice place. Freely open to public and free parking.

Sarah Ogawa

High quality exhibits! Their collections and the displays far exceeded my expectations. Each exhibit showcases a range of well-chosen pieces so as not to be overwhelming. But the quality and range of artifacts and objects is truly stunning …

Very nice museum, and it's free. Very interesting and rich history. I learned a lot of new things I never knew. They also have a very large cross hanging on a wall that once was on a church that was in the Vatican. The amount of involvement they had with support World War 1 troops is amazing.

Didn't have enough time to go through slowly. There was so much detail to read carefully, but it was also easy to skim through and still have a valuable visit! Don't know why they've succumbed to the modern bag check security theater disease, though.

Erynn Szewczyk

Hidden gem. Grand mixture of history, Catholic history, and knights of Columbus involvement with both. The Annual Christmas show is a must see for any Christian family.

Christian Garza

This is a smaller museum, but it is full of lots of artifacts from the Knights of Columbus. For KC's, its a treasure trove of the Order's history and heritage and how they worked so hard to get Catholics considered American. If you have some time to kill in New Haven, this is a must-see.

Paul Arnold

I went the annual creche display which never disappoints. This year the theme was Creches of the World. There was also an interesting & poignant exibit on the K of C's volunteer work in World War I. This museum building in a subdued modern style looks deceptively small on the outside. The volunteer staff is very attentive & helpful.

Nadine Nelson

Unexpected museum to visit especially during the holidays with the Christmas exhibits. We go annually to see manger displays from around the world.

Karen Hodgdon

Very nice museum full of historical Knights of Columbus information, paintings, facts, artifacts... The gift shop carries a lovely assortment of Catholic items; books, icons, rosaries for adults and children, Christmas ornaments, exquisitly painted egg shells of different sizes, and more. All items are offered at different price points so there is something for everyone. The ladies in the shop are charming, knowledgeable, and helpful with questions you may have. The museum also hosts different exhibits, annually. The general public is welcome to come to view these special presentations and to visit the museum as well. There is free parking below the museum and elevators to bring you up to the museum. You may even walk the grounds; there is a courtyard with benches surrounding, and a monument stone with many names engraved into it. I apologise for not remembering what it stands for.

Debbie Abernethy

As a brother Knight and field agent. This museum was way more than I expected. Not only did it cover Father Mcgivney and his development and founding of the Knights but also included world events and rhimgs from thr past that have shaped the world. World wars...conflicts the knight's roles in events and other memorabilia. Well worth the visit. I will return someday ....
