The oldest stone house in New England. Beautiful grounds, lovely trees and trails to hike. There is a museum and gift shop. Close to the ocean and the Guilford Green

The architecture is great, and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The admission is a bit steep, but it goes to good use. There's not a whole lot to see, but it's worth a visit if you're interested in Colonial era history or the history of early European settlements in New England.
