Great place to take the kids on a rainy day or visitors. Gives great info on how Fairfield played an early role and what life was like back in Colonial days. Highly recommend -- we joined after our first visit with 9 year old twins!

Dave Zavesky

Great entertainment took my grandson age 2. He loved the train exhibit and played in the Alice in Wonderland room.

The annual Gala is a unique community event. The membership provides educational series of events throughout the year. The new Commons is a great place to visit with kids and teach them about the local community of Fairfield.

We had a birthday party here for my daughter and it was a hit! Walter who works (tirelessly I might add) at the museum led the attendees on scavenger hunts about Fairfield, helped us make 18th century style journals, and told great tales about the Tavern and Fairfield in general. It was a unique experience that everyone enjoyed!

Bob Russo

Fairfield Museum and History Center brings history to life in a fun and interesting way. It's a great destination, not just to learn the history of this great town but the surrounding region, where our nation was born

Great history lesson about Fairfield! Although the museum was small it contained something for everyone. A costume fort for kids, historic census for genealogy enthusiasts, immigrant welcome gallery, artifacts for the historian and integrated technology through video. Arriving shortly before closing we were still able to see the full Museum. We purchase the comic entitled "The Culper Ring -The Spies of George Washington" As graphic novel enthusiastic we enjoyed purchasing the local comic produced by the Fairfield Museum.
