I went in to help with Volunteering at this lovely place and got to interact with the workers at this place. They are kind knowledgeable people that are able to answer your questions about the museum and how this particular station used to work. The train ride was also pretty fun ❤.

Definitely enjoyed this place, I've always been a fan of railroads and just the overall aesthetic of them, but this was a pretty cool place to visit, and a great learning experience ! Great place for kids and even adults who have an interest in locomotives/trains in general

Neat place place to check out how the rail road made America.Being able to get close up and touch steam locomotives is nice.Plus you can walk around the grounds without restriction.But finding museum with GPS is no good.Where chamber of commerce building is on Rt 66 is where Bridge street is .Turn right if traveling east or left if going west.

From the street it looks like it wouldn't be much but we were pleasantly surprised. The staff volunteers are all super helpful with showing and teaching you about the trains and what theyre doing to maintain and restore them

This compact railroad museum offers numerous restored buildings, railroad cars and locomotives. The museum exhibits are are well marked and cover a broad spectrum of the railroad industry. The property is well cared for and the museum encourages exploration by young and old alike. Visitors can take a turn on a real Armstrong turntable or ride an old fashioned hand car. The museum staff are friendly and knowledgeable.
