Amazing history here. You literally walk in the footsteps of aviation pioneers and remember those who sacrificed for the war effort. Local treasure, give them a call and schedule a tour to see restoration projects of numerous classic aircraft and museum quality displays!

In the about section it says good for kids but turned down at the door after visiting the state with my family plus a 6 year old(no one under 18 allowed in). Not very great for kids then. It is government property evidently. according to one of the employees it's also listed as a meuseum online and in person. So you'd figure kids would be allowed!
