Great little museum with many things for children to interact with. Puzzles, scavenger hunt, dollhouse and other craft things for little kids. Adults like the History behind the Boxcar and the author, Gertrude Chandler Warner. As a bonus many historic photos and books about the 1955 Flood..

This is a wonderful small museum in a box car. The author lived down the street and the school she taught at was a block away. This museum has pictures of the town over the years, a small naturalist section that is hands on for the kids, items from the books, the authors desk and type writer and more. Quite a lot of information for a small place and the volunteer was so nice!

Gem of a museum in a boxcar. You'll love it if you read the Boxcar Children books, and even if you didn't. Hands-on activities for kids. Too tiny for a restroom, but there's a restaurant just across the tracks.
