Absolutely love this place. The docents are so nice and informative. The layout by time periods is really well done. And you can even get in most of the cars with docent approval. Wonderful for the whole family.

Went to meet up with friends from Riverside & Pasadena. Our Pasadena friends couldn't make it! Yet we still enjoyed the museum. Their was a car show today. Muscle cars from the 60's, 70's, 80's & a very few newer model hi performance cars. Now, this is not a large show. Take away the museums cars & maybe there was 35 cars. So unless your a big car fan, probably not for you. All the cars were terrific & the owners prides showed through. One nice component of the museum, if it's the museums car, you can get, sit down & check it out. For me it was coming all of 15 minutes from Redondo, so no issues. My friends from 80 miles away, we're a little disappointed, understandably so. But they still enjoyed their day. If your local, go. If your coming from 30 miles plus, i'd wait till they have a large show.

Brooks Quinsey

This is a wonderful, eclectic, mix of cars from various points in history. That you can touch! You can go for free, but they recommend a small donation (5 dollars a head). Everyone here was friendly and knowlageable about the cars.

Marco Martinez

Great place. Like the cars..they kept this place "kiss" style

Scott Crothers

Awesome car collection and the staff is very knowledgeable. I really enjoyed my visit.

Jana Hradnanska

Nice cars, you can sit and look inside most of them, during a weekends you can take a ride on choosen ones, plus great staff/volunteers.

Craig Maiorana

Very neat little museum. There were absolutely gorgeous and elegant Packards and Rolls Royces as well as a bunch of other cars from various era's. They also have random shows which is what drew us there to begin with. They had a gasser get together with a bunch of old nose high race cars ... and as they all left it was tire smoke, snarling exhaust notes and no police in sight .... fun place ....

Joan Lias

This was a Father's Day gift for my husband and he loved it.....lots of classic cars and you can enjoy a ride in 4 classic autos

Awesome place. Very amazing vintage vehicles kept original. Cool looking warehouse and just a lot to see if your into classic cars. Check them out well worth it.

Jimmy Howard

Awesome place, very accessible

Milko Georgiev

Great collection and atmosphere.

Brian Won

Solid collection of American vintage cars. Some are more esoteric than they are culturally significant, so keep that in mind. They're all crammed in a single room, which might make appreciating some of them difficult-- hard to take in the beauty with another car three feet away on two sides. I waver on 3* or 4*, but I'm feeling generous... and the location is great-- perfect for a quick visit from LAX if you have a few hours' layover, but not enough time to venture all the way to the Petersen!

bruce sherman

Great place to take the kids on the Mettle Hot Wheels activity day

Harley Galpin

A must see if you are in the Los Angeles area. We stopped by on a Sunday and enjoy the car rides.

Georgia Limbaugh

Great for car lovers. They allow you to touch most of the motels and get in them. The place is relatively good sized and has a nice collection.

Jay Bomb

One of the best collections of rare and iconic vehicles I've ever seen. This is an absolute must see! Dont second think it just go and see for yourself. The pictures should speak for themselves.

John Lopez

Great museum with a focus on classic cars. Once a month they have a HotWheels themed party, and I believe on Sundays they do "ride alongs" with some of their cars. Friendly staff, and admission is by way of donations.

Don Vitz

A great museum for b anyone who loves or even just likes cars. You can touch and get into most of the vehicles and on weekends they give rides. It is also a great space for parties. This is a hidden gem of LA.

Mark Welle

Great museum with a twist. It's one of the only museums I've been to that encourages you to touch, open, and sit in just about any of the cars in their collection! Awesome selection of cars from the early 1900s up through the late 80s or early 90s, domestic and foreign. Did the whole thing in under 2 hours and that was reading about most of the cars. Great way to kill a couple hours near LAX. Highly recommend!

Zach Levine

Cool place to check out, a visit maybe takes 30 mins to an hour. Some interesting cars and you can touch and get into many of them, which is quite unique. Would recommend!

Chris Scoville

Dawn Nisley-Goss

The ladies car care classes are excellent!

Michael Ude

Many cool cars. Clean.

Shawn Crosby

Terrific collection of classic cars, bolstered by excellent events for both kids and adults. Check out the Hot Wheels garage, and don't miss the "Sunday Drives" that allow you to ride the neighborhood as passengers in the Museum's well-maintained vehicles. Close to LAX airport, making it a good destination for a layover visit.

Cheryl Cal

Great place, learned a lot. Docent was very informative.

Kay Romer

Nice little museum near LAX. We went to their Summer Swing Nights to dance and had a great time.

Cristina Ciobanu

We drove for an hour to find out the place was closed for a private event. I guess they are too busy to bother to let people know on their website when the museum would be closed for private events.

A Jones 21

First time coming to this musuem, awesome...great atmosphere at the annual trunk or treat event, my six year old really enjoyed it and looking at the old cars. The chance to ride in the older cars is also awesome although we didn't do it because my son is too small at the moment. Fantastic touch is the ice cream parlor...will come back again.

Thalia Lopez

Oh the retro cars are so lovely, see with your eyes people! Conservation is a must for these to keep on...

Tom Crowley

Wonderful museum. Lots of beautiful cars. Nice gift store, library and 50's style diner. Great place to bring the kids. Make sure to check out the weekend car shows!

Jay Stern

Excellent place for a casual reception.

Armygunsmith E

Fun place to visit you can get up close and personal with pieces of history. Besides the museum, they have events there quite frequently. From what I understood, they also have youth activities to get them interested in STEM.

Shashwat Agarwal

Nice place. Has the classics and some rare cars. Close to the airport, hence if you've got an extra hour to kill before your flight, worth checking out.

Jose M. Velazquez

Great experience. Lot of automotive history as well.

amy quinsey

Fun variety of cars, and they let you sit on them?

George Jackson

I went for the kit car show, so I didn't even go inside the museum. Easy to find and parking off-street was no problem on a Sunday. Free admission was nice too. Pretty good participation (30+ entrants) for such an eclectic show.

Cathleen Lovette

Great and fun venue for hosting private events. The highschool which I graduated from held our reunion there. It was added fun for the guests to take pictures in or in front of the large selection of vintage cars.

Jherlan Stroud

Don't ever eat the food here at one of their Banquets oh my God and their drinks are way expensive and small

Kristine Helin

Fun place. And the knowledgeable docents are phenomenal!!

A.J. Montesa

Nice little gem! Recommend the visit!

Chris Fortunato

I'm a long-time car guy, and while this place has some interesting vehicles, it's not nearly as diverse as one might expect, and unfortunately it has no flow. One big room, with a second that requires a chaperone (docent), with cars packed in haphazardly. There is very little history or much of any real information on the cars themselves (mostly because they are drivers, and they allow you to gently crawl around in them), which would help the experience. It is a non-profit, and admission is suggested donations, but I would have liked to see a little more than a garage full of cars. Still, for what it is, I'm really glad it's there, we need more of this.

Michael Banados

This is a great hidden gem. You can see the cars, touch the cars, sit in the cars and on Sundays you can ride the cars! Ask a docents for a personal tour or a visit to the fancy show room, they love to share.

Shane Jackman

Great museum with lots of history, fun for the kids and a cool little cafe (they have ice cream Sundays in a truck) and a great little gift shop.

Michael Rollins

Wow, a large selection of classic cars. You can sit in most of them and we had assistance from a very knowledgeable volunteer. They had very good Ice Cream, we very much enjoyed it.

Meee

Very open garage with a nice array of show cars.

Ray Feath

Great collection of domestic and international classic cars!

Lorraine Ritchie

Really disappointed that we arrived in LA with limited time and caught an Uber here, only to find it closed at 12.30 on a Friday for a private event. There was nothing on the website or when I called to indicate this was the case.

Jostein Myklebust

A very nice museum! One of the best I've been to!

Nicole Leanne Nelson

Super cool place. Even a diner/ice cream parlor to match. They let you get in the cars. Great for themed photo shoots.

Val Kesler

The cars are amazing, i had an incredible time.

Curniece Gardner

Hot wheels event at ADM: I went with my sister, her 5 yr old & my 4yr old. The boys had a great time. I love cars so I enjoyed looking at everything they had on display. This was our 1st time there. I'm told the hotwheels change with each event- they hold the hotwheels exhibit monthly. The cars in the main museum apparently change too, a docent told us "Doc Hudson was sold to a new home." I'll let you guess who asked that Q and how disappointed they were. Luckily, there are kid playing stations inside the museum as well so that "disappointment" was easily tempered. I also challenged the Lil ones to find some other McQueens friends that the docent doesn't know about (easy has he hadn't seen the movies and the many old cars like they could've been in the movie). I'd love to tell you about the cars I saw, but I only remember a few: 1965 mustang, a 1886 Mercedes Benz motorwagon and a carriage. This day was about the kids & they'd rather have hands on moments than having us read them the info cards. Can you blame them? In the hot wheels section there were 2 Camaros. The cars didn't have info tags, so IDK exactly what they were. I just know they were gorgeous & I want to drive them. Speaking of which, Sundays you can drive the cars. I'm sure there are age restrictions, but we forgot to inquire. I'm sure there are other exhibits events, because we saw "Sheriff" stored in a car barn with other cars. These cars weren't hidden, are easily viewed from the parking lot/pathway, but wasn't actually on display. There were 2 hotwheel playing stations, a coloring station, a baseball station and an insurance table for parents to get information, but they also had games with prizes for the kids. Oh, and there was a train that took kids on a ride through the parking lot. They gave the kids a punch card to visit each station, once everything was marked off they kids choose their own hotwheel to take home. Did I mention the face painting and balloon station? We all have boys, but I was impressed by the use of "gems" in the face paint for girls. Usually I see glittery paint not stones; NBD but sometimes it's the lil things. The balloon guy can make many complicated things. He made someone an Eiffel Tower; and another an octopus. My son got his usual sword and my nephew wasn't phased. But towards the end of the event we saw a woman wearing a balloon bracelet that looked like Lightening McQueen. So of course we (my sister & myself) had to have Cruz & Jackson Storm. My nephew caught on to us and requested a Jackson Storm. Thankfully his was created with a clear "windshield" and mine with white. There was a raffle; our kids each one something. Thank God, or we'd have to run to the Mattel store to fix that. They also have an ice cream shop, which we managed to avoid because it wasn't really warm & my son was distracted by the hotwheel tabels. It was a fun day and and they host Bday parties, so we will definitely go back. Besides, I want to drive the cars.

Kagamusha SW

Not the biggest or the widest variety of automobiles, but very nice. Has a retro snack bar. On weekends, they offer rides in classic cars. Oddly, it's normally uncrowded and quiet. The museum can be rented out for events too.

Mable Bennett

It's amazing we have a car museum. But it is great fun to go from time to time. Lots of cool cars to look at and you can learn a lot as well. Generally it is not busy here either.

Katrina Alan

Amazing and we went with our toddler to the Mattel car show. Fun for the whole family, parking is easy and free plus they have a nice little ice cream shop inside. Definitely a place you want to go, bring your camera and they have great picnic tables outside if you want to have a nice lunch. Bathrooms are clean and for those with little ones they have a changing table. Add a this to your to do list and we'll definitely be back.

Al Zequeira

I had no idea this place was here. What a fantastic little Automotive Museum. Truly a gem to be found in this jungle. I highly recommend it if you love cars this is a place to go and just look around and enjoy..

Sean Douglass

Very well done

Marlene Osborne

It was a nice car museum with the best part being that on Sunday they take out some of the old cars and you can get a ride in them. Nice day.

Alan Shenefield

Nice place to look at cars. Very helpful staff. They want you to learn about the cars and have a seat.

TJ Bittick

Absolutely fun place for people who appreciate the artistry and beauty of classic cars. You can even get behind the wheel of most of the cars on the showroom floor. Some real special vehicles lovingly maintained by their owners.

Ben Irving

This is a fantastic place to come on a Sunday. They take a few models out in front and the staff will take you for a drive in some awesome classics! The inside of this place is also amazing. We had a great guided tour of all the cars and the shop where they maintain them all. Come here and check out some great automobile history!

Chih-Wen Chino Yang

Cool quiet place for the kids or adults alike. Small yet enough to keep entertained for a good afternoon

Alberto Vazquez

10/10 awesome place. I wish I knew the name of the guy at the front desk. He was super nice, talked to me about the cars showed me around, took pictures of me in the cars, talked to me about how the museum works and how some cars are borrowed from owners, and was just an overall helpful guy. You can tell he loves his job. It’s people like this that make businesses a better business and should valued by their employers. 10/10 made my experience a good and memorable one. It makes me want to take my girlfriend here with me next time I go to Los Angeles.

B. O

Small sized museum of beautiful 90s luxury cars.

Bear Music

Great place to give a function

james gueydan

Great unique collection

Alice Wonderland

This place is amazing! And sometimes they open the Hot Wheels garage, perfect for kids and family.

AquamanKMX

Definitely highly recommended local jewel

Grace TRU

Great place to visit and bring families, friends, or a date. Didn’t know this one existed here in LA...what a Diamond. I love that you can actually be so close to the cars, even ride , or drive some of the classics. My kiddos appreciated it a lot and understood the value of cars based on quality and time. Oldies but Goodies!

Elise Moore

What a treasure! If you can go on a Sunday afternoon, be sure and make a reservation to take a ride in one of their historic cars. Each week they choose three different classic automobiles and will give rides. Otherwise there is an excellent display of a variety of classic cars and usually a volunteer or two who will show you around and answer any questions. The gift shop is well priced and has some nice souvenirs. And there's actually in ice cream shop which makes a delightful stop even if you aren't interested in automobiles.

Ryan Antunes

$10 entry with fun for the whole family. You can sit in almost any car and lots of fun extras (a labeled engine cutout that you can crank and see how it works). Recommended for any car guy - mostly American classics with a Porsche, a Delorean and some English classic roadsters. The staff were friendly and courteous and I had a great time with my girlfriend. Would recommend to any car or history person.

Gary Knutson

Great collection! Really diverse American vehicles. Easy parking, too.

Jennifer Scott

Neat museum! They have a kids scavenger hunt which my niece loves to do. They have really neat events here. The ice cream parlor is really cute. The staff is great. My family always enjoys coming here!

Brian Truitt

This place is a hidden gem. A car museum where you can actually sit inside many of the antique cars on display. Free rides in select cars on certain weekends. Check it out!

Kenneth Dugmore

Gassers 6 was awesome!

Norma Alegria

Grandchildren enjoyed it very much. Nice place.

Chloe Grey

Honestly, this place was far better than I expected! In most car museums, you can't touch the cars, but here you can sit in almost all of them! It's great for parents with children since kids always want to touch! Also, the gift shop is great! I'm happy they sell hot wheels cars there because sometimes museums only have high ticket items which means I end up with my son crying, or myself crying, all the way home.

cecilia garza castaneda

Was invited ,from my daughter, and we had great time. With my family n hers.

Jorge Vargas

Great place to visit.

Daniel MacDonald

Great selection of vehicles, great staff.

Daniel Sagle

A very cool place for an automobile enthusiast !!

Angeles Workshop

Our revolutionary school Angeles Workshop School goes on a field trip every week, and loved our visit to the ADM! Our tour guide Jim was simply amazing! He's full of energy and interesting information, and has a wonderful, active rapport with young people. Oh, and the cars are awesome too: a really wide collection!

George Torres

Very nice curated selection of vehicles from many eras. Has a showroom for pristine condition and I assume for sale vehicles that is separate from the pictures below. Museum curators were very well informed and were delighted to provide me with some history on these vehicles. All in all we all had fun and if you enjoy cars is worth a visit. Short drive from LAX.

•Natsúki bliss puff•

Nice old cars!!! Most had been used in the Rose Parade. Entrance fee is really cheap and you can take photographs while sitting inside these vintage cars. I had a great time! Highly recommended to everyone, not only auto enthusiasts.
