Awesome historical awesome came from walnu worth it thanks. Nice people good customer service
Cool stuff! Great collection. I dont like war but this place has mannaged to collect and document a very elaborate collection of war vehicles and machinery. Information is also easily accesible and available to all visitors. Price is fair and even cheap. The place offers folding chairs for people who might have hard time standing for a long time. Since it is outdoors, the place lacks shade and can get uncomfortable in daytime.
Great place for kids and adults who love military
My friend found this place so we visited what What a lovely fine this This place was awesome A ton a fine looking around looking all the tanks friendly I recommend in visit yet
Lots of vehicles to look at along with other misc military things. Try to go on a cooler day not much shade and it's all out doors.
A wonderful selection of tanks and other military equipment some used in movies
Good personal collections of tanks and military vehicles. Very reasonable entrance fee but it is not big.
What a great place to visit and see some heavy metal
good

Awesome place
This place is dusty but gives you authentic feel on how these things would look on the dirt. Prices are very reasonable at the most $5 per adult. Visit on a cool day. I guess greater than 60% of the inventory are visually complete. Up keep could use more resources. The newest piece of equipment probably is the one from LAPD armory. The paint is still shiny.
Very knowledgeable staff and wonderful youth volunteers. The prices are very reasonable and the meusem has tons of stuff to see and learn. 1-2 hours and you can see everything. Parking is limited, plan ahead.
Great place to see hardware of the US Military.
History is awesome
Little hidden military history museum off the freeway. Every item is cataloged and easy to see. Great place to take kids to see some military vehicles.
Vary cool place! My son and I loved it spent about an hour looking around at all the military items.
Great place
Looks really cool. Never made it inside.
Interesting collection of mostly US military vehicles from the 30s to the 70s
Great place. I love all of the Americana military stuff. Very nice collection.

My kids love it here. Small space with such history
all is old and outdated weapons during ww ii
Really enjoyed this Museum. They do a great job keeping all the vehicles in the best condition possible. My nephew really enjoyed our walk through the lot. Very inexpensive and a great way to spend an afternoon.
great place to take any military enthusiastic kids you have entry is cheap and it's a great way to spend an hour and a half wandering around looking at a bunch of really cool old military vehicles highly recommended.
Niente di straordinario, veicoli mezzi arrugginito, per i bambini può essere interessante
Great for everyone
Awesome place! Would definitely recommend checking it out!
While the museum has lots of interesting exhibits the maintenance and appearance is lacking due to inattention by the owners. I have visited a lot of military museums/exhibits, there was no effort made to remove debris from the trees that cover lots of the exhibits and everything could use a rinse because heavily dusty. While space is limited there is a lot of exhibits which is the second part of the problem in that everything is to close together to allow pictures when desired and because most of the exhibits are back to back plus roped off getting to where you can shoot a picture is difficult.
Buen lugar para aprender de la historia de las guerras de este país
Lots of good vehicles. Got to meet the owner real nice guy great stories.
Little gem of history
Awesome place for kids and grownups! I highly recommend it, u will not be disappointed, definitely we will continue coming year after year!

Nice place with nice people
Great history! Fun to walk around. Very informational
Finest publicly available collection in.the nation
OMG I LOVE TANKS
Really cool place to walk through and see some cool stuff.
Great place to take friends and family and to learn about our history as Americans, customer service needs a little work, but don’t let that stop you from going.
Best day of my life but it was super hot bring stuff that cools you down
I haven't been there yet but pictures look great looking forward to visit some days.
Its is a small museum but with alot of great things there that you would never really see.
Lots of history here!
This is a good place to know more about military tools.
Great experience visiting this place.
Tanks, tanks, tanks
EXCELENTE... Muy informativo y educativo saber cómo nuestros caídos soldados tenían un entrenamiento para cada equipo de área trabajo ❤
Great to see all military war machines from world war1 to Vietnam war bring across the world and kept in open space. Collection is huge starting from staff car, ambulance, military trucks, torpedo, tank, chopper, boat, missile and rocket launchers, cranes etc. Museum provide a self guided booklet having numbers matching with parking space number and its detail in booklet. Its a huge military dump which were restored to showcase the history and importance. Staff are friendly and take feedback if anyone needed any extra details. Its have limited parking and open space which make it difficult at noon. But you like the collection of tank, rocket and grenade launchers, machine guns.

Fantastic little museum with friendly staff. This place is a regular haunt for artists and designers looking to draw military vehicles from life - you can get right up close to the exhibits and view them from any angle. The museum is outdoors so prepare for that. Overall a great place for a quick day trip, especially for military history buffs.
Very cool place very cheap to get in and you get to see American military vehicles up close
Muy bonito lugar es bueno para los niños
This is a great outdoor museum to come visit. The museum is self guided so you can spend as little or as much time as you want walking, reading the exhibit details provided in a notebook, and taking pictures of course. There is a lot of history here, so reading along makes it that much more interesting.
Fun for kids and adults
I like that place! 10/10 cool old car,
Great hidden gem
This museum although small, it packs a lot of very interesting vehicles and history. I mainly visited the museum to see the m4 Sherman tanks they have. I was not disappointed. Other tanks are also present such as the m4 patton and Pershing tank. Staff was very friendly and answer most of my questions to the best of their knowledge. They have naval guns, equipment as well as SPGs. The tank destroyers are very interesting to see. It is definitely a place that you should visit and admire whether its because you know about military history or simply the fact these machines help keep the U.S.A free. Worth the 5 dollar entry fee.
A very nice array of armor and jeeps from the late 40s to 70s. You can't climb on or enter any of the tanks. They give you a folder with the details of all of the displays so most of your questions get answered right away. The owner is often on the property walking around and can answer numerous additional questions.
Other name Tankland. It delivered as promised. Nice stop for a 1 or 2 hours, depending how deep you want to get into what everything is.
Cool place to visit. Son is into tanks and got to see some close up. Mainly older stuff though.
Quite Friday treat. We were the only visitors, had a nice chat with the owner. A very cool assortment of military vehicles and weapons. A well spent 5 bucks per person.
Awesome experience, low key museum. Perfect for kids of all ages, very informative and great place.
Awesome place.
Buen lugar muy intesante
Nice self-guided open-air museum. Definitely worth a visit. A lot of interesting military equipment that volunteers mainly care about. Someone may be affected by the neglected appearance, but it just gives the museum a spirit of authenticity. Someone might say it looks like a junkyard, but only 1/4 of the museum is open to the public the other area is a deposit.
In expensive stop if in area
Heck of a good time here. Be back soon.
Everybody should go here it's very exciting to see military vehicles of the past very educational for the kids
Not much except old tanks, done in 30 minutes.
What a Gem!! If you are into vintage military and Large scale transport...this is the place. It's a hidden in El Monte, ca. The entrance fee is fair for the historic and informative value of everything you get to see. Enjoy
Nice, seldom prototype vehicles. Nice vehicles, small shop but sadly u cant climb in or on the vehicles.
Tanks, and old WW2, cant go wrong with them!
Lot of military merchandice, each with an interresting story to tell. The place looks more like a scrapyard than a museum, but it is well atranged and staff is really nice.
Amazing
From my point of view biggest collection of tanks in USA
It's the best! Lots of important equipment to look at and a vast knowledge of all the equipment. Craig is awesome!
Great experience!
It was an amazing place with cool vehicles and nice service
If you are real military fans, here is an amazing place!
If you enjoy seeing armored vehicles and other military equipment up close, this is a great attraction. This is "Route 66-Goofy-Kitschy-Sort of Fun"!I took my younger son here on a Saturday as he's big into military museums and equipment. It's a bit of a drive from Costa Mesa but we had a good time. The museum is more like a large dirt lot with lots and lots of military equipment - both restored and awaiting restoration - are stored. The visitors parking lot will hold about 15 cars but it was never busy while we were there. The place is a not-for-profit operation and depends entirely on the entrance fees and donations to restore and maintain their vehicles. As of November, 2015, the entry fee for adults was $5 and $1 for children. Check their website for updated information. The gentleman at the front desk was really nice and friendly and gave us a binder with the indexed information on each vehicle (to be returned when we were done). You can get pretty close but not climb on, all the tanks and stuff that they have tucked away there. It's pretty impressive. Most of the equipment is from World War 2 and the early Cold War periods up to about 1975 or so. You won't find any Abrams, for example, although you will find a beautifully restored M551 Sheridan light tank and three great examples of the M4 Sherman (three different variants). They have a small "gift shop" under the EZ-Up tent with the requisite models, tanks, RC vehicles, etc. Some recommendations: Walking through this museum will take about an hour and the only facilities are a porta-potty. While it is very interesting and I'm glad we went, it doesn't really rate being the primary reason to visit the area. Add this to your itinerary. You will enjoy it but, again, be realistic as it is small and more like a restoration shop that is open to the public. Set your expectations accordingly. Additionally, the facility is not open when it is raining as it's on a dirt lot and there are no canopies.Directions: The museum is on the east side of Rosemead Blvd. If you're coming north on Rosemead from the 60 Freeway, stay in the right hand lane as the museum will quickly sneak up on you and you will miss it if you're not watching for it.
History
Pretty dope self guided tour if you're interested in old military equipment and vehicles.
Cool
Needs alot of work, and donations. You can clearly see they need money to maintain these vehicles. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable
Very cool little museum with a lot to see and good info about each of the exhibits. Only issue was the number of huge spiders and spider webs, not only on some of the exhibits, but also on the walkways. Granted it's an outdoor museum, but a little cleaning every now and then would help.
I love me some tanks! So when I went here it was only fitting that explore what this tank collection has to offer. They have a few gems (the M53/55 being the standout) but other than a couple shermans and M46s and M60s I wasn't too impressed. The tanks and APC's are clustered together so you can't fully appreciate them. In particular, I was sad to see only the rear of an M40/43 artillery. They provide you a book that gives a description of the tank and feels very 20th century. All in all I'd say you spend at most an hour here before you've seen everything and are ready to go. But hey for 5 bucks you get what you pay for.
Excellent..
Great Place
Beautiful place
This is a great place to visit if you like military history. There are many wartime artifacts, weapons, and military vehicles on display. It's open from Friday thru Sunday 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. only and kids and families are always welcome.
Great outdoor museum. Very friendly and knowledgeable people.
A small fun and informative exibit with lots of amazing weapons
A lot of old military equipment to see up close, and remember our brave
.......
小而精的军事博物馆,离华人很近,值得一游。
It has a wonderful exhibit of historical wartime vehicles. A great educational experience.
You must go.
lots of items to see
Update 29 August 2018
Wonderful collection of war machines, transport vehicles, helicopters, boats and experienced staff with an abundance of historical knowledge. Walk through the enormous yard and experience something almost none of the public ever gets to see up close. History on display. Yes it is dusty, but you'll be captivated by the sheer size of these pieces of combat. The owner is very kind and full of exciting stories, the museum and its many treasures are maintained by enthusiastic volunteers who do this job out of love and respect for the men and women who've sacrificed for us all. Great for children of all ages. Bring a hat, some water and prepare to step back in time. I missed my grandfathers very much that visit. One was a WW1 veteran and the other was WW2. They would have loved this place. I'll be coming back soon, there's so much more that I want to see. I wish they were able to get some grant money to work on some more vehicles. The owner, Craig, his workers, and volunteers are deserving, seeing as how they are the ones trying to keep the museum going, and relevant. Do yourself a favor, and make the time to visit, you won't be sorry.
Super cool place to go and see history
(Translated by Google) Seeing the weapons of World War II, I can think of the tragic war of the year! To live in peace in the world, long live the world peace! (Original) 目睹二战武器,可想当年战争的惨烈!要世界和平共处,世界和平万岁!
I have some of my favorite tanks
I liked the place but I think the place would be better if the vehicles were in the same order as the binder they give you. I also wish there was some type of tour or audio tour that we could listen to via our phone.
This is good place for kids, so they can see why the US military is #1!
Great place/A lot of history And. Stories to go with them Ask not what your Country Can do for you..... But...What you can do For your Country..... Red White & Blue !!!!!!$$$$$$

Cool place to visit
Great place to visit and spend a few hours. Went in the afternoon and the weather was very cool. Staff was friendly and helpful. They have a wide assortment of military vehicles and other items. Expect to spend a couple of hours there at the minimum.
Like a dump
I spent a time there with my friend and it was an unforgettable experience and this amazing place with a special view and very knowledgeable staff and services, I would recommend visiting this place for all family ages.
If you're a fan of tanks and other military vehicles this is a great place. Outdoor and a bit dusty though.
(Translated by Google) I have never been to this place, I can't comment on how I used to be inside, but what did I like to give myself the opportunity to meet can find something interesting in this place (Original) Nunca e Estado en este lugar no puedo opinar sobre de cómo luse por dentro pero él qué gusté darse la oportunidad de conocer puede encontrar algo interesante en este lugar
$5 entry, lots of stuff to see. They sell stuff too that'd interest anyone. Loved coming.
Great place! A bit dusty and hot, bring hats & sunscreen as there is not much shade. A ton of vehicles, our 5 year old loves this place!
It's $5 to go in. It's all out doors so if it's hot out, bring an umbrella for shade. It's self guided so you carry a white book around and look up the info yourself. Lots and lots to at here.
