REVIEWS OF Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art IN Arkansas

Olive Smith

What a lovely surprise! Took the architectural tour which was fabulous. Need more time to tour the Frank Lloyd Wright house and outdoor areas. I will do that the next time I am in the area. So nice that it is free and available to everyone.

Aileen Rueda

i used to come here for school trips some 5+ years ago. i’m glad to see it’s still beautiful and thriving. entrance is free so definitely take advantage of the beautiful art.

Christopher Davidson

Pretty great selection of American art. Perfectly designed to fit within, and extend, the natural setting. Cafe and restaurant are even good. Lovely trails to walk around the museum. Great in multiple ways.

Michael Malcom

The museum and walking trails make for an excellent date night. They provide quality exhibitions and history of the art displayed. You may see much of the art for free.

Kelli Skogen

I'm not an art person but we enjoyed it and loved the trails all around it all the way up to Compton Gardens where you can ride a great flow trail. Full day of fun for sure.

Signe Blanton

It has so many great things would be good for all ages and has things I haven't seen anywhere else really neat place worth going to see.

Michelle Leach

This place is absolutely incredible! I enjoyed every moment of our trip from beginning to end. Not only is this museum full of beautiful and breathtaking artwork, but they all have more information so you can learn the history behind it (I also thought it was cool that they have Spanish translations for everything as well). One of the security monitors even had a little background info for one of the pieces we were observing, and I thought that was so cool! We truly had an amazing time.

Jacob Bommarito

Really neat museum. Fascinating art, amazing trails, and very friendly staff! If you love art and nature, this is a MUST! I was visiting the area for the weekend, but I understand they have traveling exhibits sometimes. You get basic entry for free, which is great! Very clean place. I’m honestly shocked it’s free!

Nupur Goel

Awesome place to visit if you are in bentonville.. Museum is awesome with nyc ambience..you can also try brunch at Eleven restra in the museum..

Both the grounds and the museum itself are beautiful. I was able to see stunning pieces of art from all over. I highly suggest a stop but honestly you need to go back again and again to take it all in. The downside to the visit involved the security staff in the galleries. They made many of my colleagues uncomfortable as we took in the art. We were visiting on a work field trip as we also run a public facility like the museum and like to see other sites. I understand the need to protect art but I've never felt this uncomfortable in any museum I've visited, including the Louvre, the Art Institute of Chicago, the Nelson-Atkins, or any of the museums I've visited in Europe. You can be efficient but still polite and non-aggressive. Your staff should not be a distraction from the works of art.

Donna Hartsfield

I drove up to see the new special exhibit. I was disappointed as it was not as good as the past ones. The outside portion was interesting but not worth the effort I put into seeing it. No shuttle was provided for the outside. Benches were plentiful for resting. Dogs are allowed on the trails but not inside.

Jennifer Lariviere

A must see. Very nice. Lots to see inside and out. Staff very helpful. Lots if parking. Architecture worth the trip.

Monica Galchik

We had an amazing time walking around and visiting with friends. This is a great, clean place with friendly staff. If you are in the area, I highly recommend it.

Colin Thomas

Amazing destination in a beautifuly scenic setting. Modern & Futuristic architecture meets unique terrain and landscaping. The walking trails are laid between beds of all types & kinds of plants, flowers, and trees, and the museum boasts an incredible array of art and architecture that won't disappoint any enthusiast or otherwise.

Ethan Genser

I'm not really too much of an art guy, so some of the more "modern" pieces seemed strange to me. Overall, the experience was great and the architecture is stunning! This is a must-see to anyone visiting the northwest Arkansas area!

Peter Blankenship

If you are in the area, this is a must see. Go out of your even! This a free museum with some high quality art objects. I especially enjoyed the American Art. The cafe is reasonably priced and the whole campus is beautiful.

DarkMage ofLight

Here are a few of my favorite pics from their gallery. This is a must do and see. Art is always important as it helps to expand the mind and deepen our appreciation for each other as we are all the same!! The 2 men statues you will see are some of the most impressive artwork you will ever see. The big one the wall....shoulders and head are beyond realistic!!! I have taken care of the elderly for years and this one actually made me feel as it was just gonna speak to me. It is his own hair, and such details that men will appreciate with honesty!!! PS...I don't own any copyrights of these works of art. I share them to honor the artist and increase awareness of how important imagination is for our souls!

ERNEST UNDERWOOD JR

Admission was free but was worth at least two to three dollars per person. The paid tours were a little expensive but overall the art and the architecture was awesome. Stayed about two and a half hours. Definitely would recommend

Matt Dozier

Outstanding experience. Uplifting and inspirational. The staff/volunteers are so nice.

Mayra Escobedo

Very beautiful place to visit in Bentonville. I'm raised in Ft.Smith but left AR many years ago. When I left Crystal Bridges was not completed. I was happy to be able to come and enjoy it. They have a free art gallery and nice walking trails. A good mixture of indoor and outdoor activities. We even good to see 3 deer while walking the one of the trails.

Cecilio Apostol

Real great place to walk around, bike through trails and enjoy some museum arts on display. Place is clean and well maintained.

Ron Everett

Easily one of the best museums in America so that makes it the best museum in northwest arkansas. There's always an exhibit and something to do on the inside or outside. You will love Crystal Bridges

Melanie Tyler Davis

Loved everything but the giant spider. Beautiful trails that are pet friendly. Interesting artwork and the beautiful Glass works by Chihuly. Large gift store with a huge variety in all price ranges.

S. K. Elisha

This is an amazing place for all art lovers to visit. I would even call it an art heritage. It's spread over many acres and has a very modern architectural design to it. It offers free admission to view the standard galleries, but if you want to see works of featured artists, you'll have to pay a small fee. It features a lot of American artists and has paintings, prints, sculptures and lots more to see. A must visit if you're in Bentonville.

Blargen Flargen

Fantastic art to take in, and all in a museum that is essentially a work of art unto itself. Also, great walking trails around the museum with more sculptures to see along the way

Jon Galchik

Beautiful. Creative. Insightful. This museum is an absolute jewel. It's a must see if you're in the area.

Jennifer Patterson

Beautiful art & trails! We loved this place and will be back! Great for all ages!

Lord Scratch

Amazing collection of American art in an architectural wonder of a space. I spent 4 hours there, but could have easily spent 4 days. The permanent collection is free, but the limited exhibits are worth the nominal ticket prices

Greggory Hasselbring

Was our first time visit. Had heard about museum previously. Beautiful grounds and nice drive on road to museum. Very friendly staff. Beautiful setting and nicely built with lots of natural lighting with windows and ceilings. Very interesting collections and nicely displayed. Nice and quiet and serene. Only had time to see main exhibition. Very nicely done and free thanks to Walmart. Would highly recommend and looking forward to future visits. Also nice restaurant with great views. We had a nice lunch but it bbn is a little pricey.

Sisters4ever T

Going to Crystal Bridges Museum is a must if visiting the area & for those living in the area. The grounds are beautiful with walking trails throughout the property. You'll see tons of wildlife roaming the grounds while there.... beautiful deer have no fear of visitors. Inside the buildings, the variety of Art is fantastic and they do have special collections at times that costs extra to see. But the regular art takes time to see all of it. Rooms are comfortable to walk around and its easily wheel chair accessible too. I love reading about the individual pieces and the history of the artist or work. Great oil paintings of the Presidents was very interesting too. Weddings take place on the grounds as well. It has great potential and makes a great family outing.

Gaylynn Alden

Go for the museum. Stay away from the restaurant. I like my burger well done, not my bun. It was so burned that was all I could taste. The museum, on the other hand is a must. The trails are great, so are the permanent exhibits. The temporary exhibits are always interesting.

Stephen Beard

A awesome place to see one of a kind art and history. Its definitely a must see.

Julie Vaughn

Great art museum. Wonderful waking paths outside with art on the trails. Many room me with different art to see

Tony Blair

A lot of modern art. Great facility though. Didn't realize they had trails.

Whitney Crook

Visited this area for a weekend getaway and it was suggested by our Airbnb to visit this museum. We weren’t expecting much, but we ended up being so impressed by both the facility and the art! The main gallery is free, but there temporary shows are very affordable. The grounds are beautiful with several well maintained walking trails. Free parking — easy to find!

Brad Bray

If you are curious where all the money the Walton Family saves on paying poverty wages to tens of thousands of workers, look no further. The American Art Museum is, as the art goes, an impressive collection. Instead of taking care of their employees to have a decent life with opportunities they "give back" to the community by building this huge monolith to make sure everyone knows who the Walton family is!!!

Angie Buchanan

Wonderful, free museum. A great place to take kids. They have free exhibits, and you can pay an additional fee to see the extra exhibit. You can tour the Frank Lloyd Wright house for free, but you'll need to book tickets for that in advance. (We booked tickets when we visited the museum, then we left to do something else, and came back for the tour at our scheduled time.) There are also trails for hiking.

Linda Borland

This museum is beautiful with the outside grounds and paths awesome. We enjoyed the tour of Frank Lloyd Wright home even as we got totally drenched on the way back. A memory we will probably never forget!

Yosef Silver

Amazing collection of art, and the buildings themselves are a piece of art in their own right. Wonderful place to spend a day! Enjoyable for kids and adults alike.

Mindy Beck

Anyone can easily spend a day wondering around Crystal Bridges between the beautiful art inside and outside, and the nature trails surrounding it. They have an array of workshops and events for the community all of the time, and the gift shop is wonderful. Also, the lattes at the cafe are delicious. Crystal Bridges is a staple in NWA.

Jeanette Harbauer

Loved this place. What a fantastic art museum and grounds. Thank you to the Walton's. Lucky Arkansas.

logantkimball96

Crystal Bridges is a FREE, incredible and beautifully designed museum of art funded/donated by the Walton family of Bentonville Arkansas. It sits in the valley of a beautiful forest and is surrounded by beautiful biking and walking trails in which more outdoor artwork is to be found. Crystal Bridges is home to some amazing and rather prestigious or rare artwork. Traveling exhibits also make stops by the museum for periods of time for the public to enjoy for no cost at all. There are also areas at Crystal Bridges for people to grab a bite to eat or drink some coffee. Overall, Crystal Bridges is a jewel that we are lucky to have in the heart of Northwest Arkansas.

Steven Smith

This is my second trip to Crystal Bridges. It is impossible to describe this place in words, but I will try. First, the building and grounds are a architectural masterpiece. The grounds are surrounded with beautiful gardens, trails, fountains, and sculptures. Inside the museum you will be amazed by the hundreds (maybe thousands) of paintings and sculptures from the 1500s to present day. The use of color and texture excite your senses and imagination. The images take you back to a simpler time in America when greats such as George Washington and Alexander Hamilton lived. Anyone with an appreciation of art will love this museum.

Bailey Berry

Such a phenomenal museum!! There are an array of artwork styles for you to enjoy that provide a chronological display of great American artists. The outdoor exhibit was ending but I had a chance to enjoy the beautiful outdoors while viewing several amazing sculptures. I would definitely like to go back and spend more time.

Tony Williams

We spent about an hour and a half here. It was 100+ outside so it was a nice escape. It was a ton of fun and gives the casual art lover at great way to expound their palette. Would love to go back and view all the outside stuff as well...by the way....IT’S FREE!!

John Hazmat Haddad

Amazing museum! The collection was an impressive surprise. The gallery space was exceptionally well designed. The architecture was the perfect environment for the astounding artwork. The cafe served a great mocha and had gluten free food options. One cant argue with the free admission. The day we were there, an artist was demonstrating print making in the gift shop, and having spectators participate. What a gem. I would expect a space like this in New York, Paris, or Berlin, not in Arkansas. An absolute MUST see if your anywhere remotely close.

Bethany Andrew

Great exhibits, beautiful ground, free admmision it doesn't much better

Brandon Edwards

Much larger than anticipated. Lot of friendly staff on hand for information and directions. Could easily spend several days exploring the walking paths. Plan to return as I was not afforded the amount of time it would take to properly appreciate the art.

Perry Steines

Great art and wonderful hiking. This is truly a hidden Gem in the Ozarks. Spent 2 days there. The architecture of the buildings is amazing

Amy Bolinger

Lots of interactive things for kids. Audio tours available. Outside trails are dog friendly. Admission is free. Plenty of parking. Gift shop available.

Tim Compton

Beautiful little biking/walking trail. Trails are both dirt and paved. Dirt trails are well kept with frequent spots to climb on rocks. Paved trails are smooth and easy for jogging strollers. Path is littered with amazing art work. One of the best pieces is blown glass by the same artist who made the artwork on the ceiling of the Bellagio.

Phyllis Francis

Art jewel in mid America. 2 pictures I posted were of Mexican artist Diego Rivera and Missouri artist, Thomas Hart Benton. Just a peek of what you will see and enjoy.

Irma Zandl

I so wanted to love this museum but for my tastes it’s got too much going on. I’m also not crazy about how the work is installed. That said the current exhibition, men of steel, women of wonder is fantastic. Great work and beautifully installed.

Acer

Beautiful art from classic to modern. Entrance fee is free due to donations from the Walton family. Staff at the museum are knowledgeable and friendly, it was fun to have them elaborate on the origins of some of the art as well as the artist that made the art. Although nature's nation does have a ticket price (currently $12) it's worth the price for the historic and artistic interpretation of a walk through our nation's past. Lastly, there is a nice outdoor walking path that runs along a stream and includes more sculptures as well as other small art forms.

Gourav Anvekar

An awesome place to experience some art and nature. It's a huge farmland, built with beautiful scenic views and modern architectural design. It was founded by Walton family, and had been well funded to keep the public admission free. A must visit if you are in the area!

Larry Minnix-Flores

One of the best art museums I have been to! Worth the 2 to 3 he drive from Tulsa! ITS FREE! Worhal! They have a house on property designed by Wright! And the building itself is a work of art!

Mark Bartlett

I was very impressed with this museum. There is something from every era which to me was an amazing enrichment of American history. There is so much to see, several visits are in order.

J P

This place is great, walking trails are beautiful and still have he unique feel of the terrain and wilderness. Staff is nice and helpful.

Bernel Sawyer

Just wonderful look at American Art. Everything is art, inside, outside and surroundings. Also teaching/learning classes on site. Great coffee. Did not eat there but there is a restaurant. A must see when in the Ozarks.

Mayilvanan

It is an excellent place for art lovers. Its so elegant and colorful place. The place has beautiful landscape to sit and relax, it has few trails one can go for a trail.

Chris Burgess

OMG! Unbelievable! We went through the museum and then had a guided tour of the Frank Lloyd Wright house (our tour guide was Carla and she was a wealth of information) then we saw the Chihuly glass displays. What a great day. Such a beautiful place

Rachel Wilson

What an outstanding museum! This might be at the top of my favorites list now. It’s hard to believe this gem isn’t located in New York or Paris. The best contemporary art museum I’ve seen in a very long time. Wish we had more time to explore. Coffee bar serves a milky way latte, do it! Highly recommend this stop!

Tiffany Ann

One of my favorite things to do with my kids. I love that it's a community museum and kids of all financial situations can come and enjoy the art.

Collin Skinner

We spent well over 5 hours here exploring all the exhibits and scenery. Everything was breathtaking and well worth the time. Bonus, admission was free. The Frank Lloyd Wright house was my favorite. Very interesting site and the private tour is well worth the money. They've done a great job with the museum and I can't wait to go back.

Shirley Beer

Natures Nation is an excellent exhibit. Take the time to read and absorb the art . The story of the evolution of our nations nature is enlightening. Thank you for bringing this important message through art

cameron bryan

Unbelievable how much has been put into making this place. It's beautiful, close to nature, fun for all ages, AND handicap accessible! If you've never been, make plans and take family or friends. I will return.

Dianne Groff

This place is awesome! The art, the trails & restaurant, fantastic. The buildings are an architectural wonder. Especially loved the Frank Lloyd Wright house!

Vanz

General admission is free. Parking was free. This place is amazing. We visited today to see the chalk festival. There were artists from all over the country doing chalk paintings for people to see. It was beautiful to see the creative process in action. After perusing the chalk exhibits, we went through the indoor portion of the museum. The architecture of the building is really neat. They have tons of art to look at, as well as interactive studios and sports to engage kids. Definitely recommend a trip for the whole family.

Ryan Parr

The General exhibit has some of the best American art, and if you have never seen a Frank Lloyd Wright designed home, this is your chance. The ubiquitous Chihuly glass (found in nearly any museum featuring contemporary art/design in the country) will stand out.

Rachael R.

Absolutely loved it! You really need to spend more than one day here to enjoy it in its entirety. I would love to go back some day.

Debbie Fancher

Interesting ever changing display of art. Beautiful location with trails, trees and water. Frank Lloyd Wright house to tour. Infinity Mirrored Room requires a ticket but it's free. A must see !

David Baker

Easy to locate. Despite front Street entrance construction, easy access and exit. The Art collection is excellent, no charge, thank you Walmart. We were also entertained by College Day, great opera student performances every 30 minutes. Very clean facility, helpful staff and security, unique building and grounds layout. Great museum hours. We enjoyed Sunday Brunch as well, which was excellent value, well served, great fresh food buffet!

Fred Carino

Out of this world architecture. Collection includes many, many classical pieces. Admission is free. Veterans have free admission to two special exhibits. Great disabled access. Clean, modern, airy.

Lance Lockwood

Crystal Bridges is the crown jewel of Northwest Arkansas and the first real attraction in the area when it was opened in 2011. The main exhibit is free for everyone and includes indoor and outdoor art pieces. Their are also paid exhibits that last several months and the charge for those are around $10-$20 a person. If you become a member you can enter all exhibits without entry fee. This is a must see and I highly recommend it.

Dorice Ann

I love museum's. It was way to hot today but i liked strolling along the paths to see the Colors of Art displays. Especially love CHIHULY...

Jun F.

Highly recommend this beautiful and meaningful museum for everyone. P.S.: please donate if you have the financial mean as this place is open to the public free of charge which is really good for the public to learn the history from the art angle. During my visit I witnessed many kids benefited from this place.

Jada Lindblom

Yup, it's as good as people say. Worth a detour! Very pleasant setting tucked into the woods with lovely trails to wander. Fantastic art collection in a relatively compact space. Unique architecture with lots of natural light and incorporation of nature. Cafe was very enjoyable as well. Friendly and helpful staff and volunteers.

Jaime Hay

Amazing museum. Free to visit. Always changing up the pieces for a unique experience every time. The museum staff were friendly and chatted with us while we were there. Wheelchairs are available inside the museum, but must walk through parking lot.

Aviad Meitar

I made a detour to get to this place and it was well worth it. A very special experience of art and nature.

Caleb Bourland

Must see if you are in the NWA area. They did a wonderful job building the architecture into the natural landscape. Wonderful display of American Artworks of all kinds. Max Ferguson's "Time" is personally my favorite piece in this great collection of works.

Debra Singer

The Art Museum was very interesting and impressive and I loved it. However I felt betrayed and duped when a fee was imposed to see an exhibit that was merely an extension of the “free” exhibit. I would have much preferred an entrance fee in the first place than to be tricked into thinking that the additional exhibit was really something different

Hamed Samadi

This place is breathtaking, located in a nice scenery and has a very modern and nice architecture. Didn’t mention their collections, which mostly are paintings from different artists from 16th centuries up to now. They also bought a house designed & built in 1956 by Frank Lloyd Wright and move that there called “Cincinnati house”. This campus is really big and rich with art works make sure you have enough time to visit all collections.

Nathan Pierce

This place was absolutely amazing! The architecture of the building and the location is just surreal! There are several walking and bike paths that you can take as well. This place offers many exhibits, a children's play area, coffee shop, and full restaurant. I would make reservations at the restaurant as soon as you arrive to ensure you get to eat in a timely manner. I would plan to spend around 4-5 hours here to get the full effect of everything. This place is really well done and something the whole family can enjoy. Plus it is absolutely FREE! There are multiple parking locations available with a shuttle running back and forth between the furthest lot and the museum. Everything is ADA compliant and handicap accessible.

Gregory Smith

What a wonderful gem in northwest Arkansas! Architectural beauty in the way the museum of American art is situated on a lazy creek, plus the bonus of a Frank Lloyd Wright designed house on the grounds. Many American artists and works that you’ll recognize, plus many that you won’t. A great little coffee bar, nice restaurant Eleven, ample parking, and a trail system that will keep you walking all the way into the town of Bentonville if you like. This is a gift from Alice Walton that will be a beautiful legacy for not just Arkansas but for the entire country for decades to come.

Rachel Witt

We are visiting from out of town and visited the Museum for the first time! It was beautiful, educational and spectacular! Thank you for a wonderful venue to visit!!

Trinity N

This is a free museum with a great collection of art. The architecture is astounding and to find a Frank Lloyd Wright home on property was a spectacular surprise. The temporary exhibit was the only thing that cost. The architecture of the museum as well as the grounds was were beautiful.

Maurio Mckay

This is a really cool art museum with a lots to look at. It took me about an hour to through just the permanent collect and there was still 2 other collections plus the out door works that are scattered around the place. It's a surprisingly cool place with a unique design. Definitely worth a see if you're in the area. Admission is free!

Julia Cocco

This truly is an American wonder. Alice's dream of sharing art with the world has become a national treasure. Even if you don't love going to museums, try this one. A huge part of it is completely free, it's spacious and sunny, and the architecture is stunning. The building itself is a work of art! I hope I'll get to go back someday. The place is big enough to warrant a two-day visit and sunscreen!

The ToolBox Taos

Impressive collection as well as inspired modern architecture. The grounds are beautiful and we enjoyed walking in the forest and discovering sculptures amongst nature. The restaurant named Eleven, has excellent food for a great price. Best of all was the down to earth staff and visitors here. A must see if you are in the area.

David Mazakas

The perfect place to view beautiful art no matter your taste. Speaking of taste, you can also enjoy a gourmet meal during your visit without leaving the property. Also great walking and bicycle trails. Plenty to enjoy.

Trent Miller

Our family loves coming to Crystal Bridges. Being able to provide a world-class opportunity in Bentonville is a joy! The architecture and artwork are awesome.

JOHN JONES

The Art exhibits are great. Love the various watercolors throughout the first two century s of our country. This is a must stop if your in this part of the country. Another great spot with several short biking or hiking trails.

Stella Frisby

Never disappoints! Been going there for years and the exhibits are always fantastic. Their permanent and rotation collections are classic yet unique!

Aptenodytes

Always a good place to visit, infrastructure is amazing. AMAZING views and nature. Free trails, the museum costs money to enter but it is worth it.

Tim Cox

I love this museum it's free the exhibits are amazing the service is great and the architectures even better again I love this place and I will definitely come back

Joana Cohen

There is so much to see and do!! There is also a coffee shop and sandwich shop. We could've easily spent all day here.

Emily Stott

This museum was way bigger than we thought it would be! We got there shortly after lunchtime, and left right at closing time. Very family friendly! The permanent collection is extensive - we especially enjoyed the modern art area. Both of the temporary installments - Nature’s Nation, and the interactive Color Field - were so amazing and worth the extra charge (a $16 bundle for both). The park also includes a number of beautiful trials (some of which have bathrooms), one of which features a less-than-a-mile walk to Downtown Bentonville, where one can find delicious food and drink and entertainment! There is also a summer concert series that takes place in a wooded area surrounded by art installments. We enjoyed our experience and highly recommend it as a day outing for anyone passing through the Northern Arkansas area!

Merry C. Kelly

Just lovely.the trails were varried, some challenging others a pleasant walk. We had the help of a beautiful day. Looking back from the trail to the building was just striking. Free intermission a nice surprise. For my taste the art was varied and a provocative sampling. I had a moment of introspection looking at the Korean dog tag kimono.

Amy Simmonds

Great museum where you can see world-renowned work for no cost. Both outdoor and indoor exhibits offer something new each time I visit. Bentonville is very lucky to have this treasure!

Abby Gann

Crystal Bridge Museum of American Art is my happy place. I take every chance I get to go to CB. Always clean, always beautiful, most of the galleries are free to enter, and there is plenty to walk around and see! I especially love the trails and outdoor pieces and landscaping.

Marwan Chebaro

Bentonville is a hidden treasure of a city. Gentle friendly and very hospitable; thanks to its open minded citizens and a first class visionary city leaders. Crystal Bridges museum is a gem in a city that is full of precious stones. A must visit museum, because of its artful design and its beautiful art collection. The people of Bentonville are as much of an extension of the museum artistry.

Glenn Ricart

Early American and modern masterpieces displayed in harmony with nature. Entrance to the permanent collection is always free thanks to Walmart. Worth at least a whole day if you love art in attractive and imaginative installations. Don't miss the place-sensitive Chihuli's.

Brent Jones

An amazing place to visit to see artwork of all kinds. The architecture is astounding and to find a Frank Lloyd Wright home on property was a spectacular surprise. The permanent collection and the tour of the Wright home are free to view. Several trails are available to walk and there is also an on loan collection to view for a small fee. The only problem is that it too far away from home to visit as often as I’d like. Will be back with the family to enjoy all the treasures with them as well.

Jenny Alvarado

Beautiful area and a lot of trails for walk, hike, or bike. A little harder on some parts but overall great trails even for younger kids.

Katie Hendrickson

The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the descriptions of the pieces were well-written and informative. It's truly a lovely place! :)

anita carroll

An American treasure. Very classy museum that allows photography of the art AND its free! Great selection of realistic art on gorgeous grounds. Nice Cafe in an architecturally inspired setting. Worth every effort to get there.

Macherie Barber

Love how there are inviting things to do in rooms filled with art. Draw something yourself. Put a puzzle together, largeish pieces. There is baseball for some and Barbie for little girls or little girls at heart. Surprises to see through the windows and Great Art. All free. More terrific art for a fee.

Marilyn Kilmer

Fantastic! What a wide range of American art. These are found in their beautiful buildings and grounds. We even toured a house by Frank Lloyd Wright. The museum is child friendly. It would take days to really take it all in. The admission price for all this? Zero, zip. General admission is sponsored by Wal-Mart.

Faith Sawyer-Tindle

The concert in the Forest was fun except for the ticks we got and the long walk. Other than that we enjoyed the venue and the music. It was especially nice that it wasn't too loud!

Shane Applegate

I am speechless. What a wonderful trail system. I can't begin to tell you how much fun and enjoyment we had here. This may be the best grouping of fun trails in the United States that I have ever found. Truly enjoyed meeting all the friendly locals who showed us around being from out of town. The town and trails are full of friendly people and Good Times. Put this spot on your bucket list if you are an avid cyclist or want to see a young thriving up-and-coming community where people actually look like they are happy where they live.

Holly Pate

This is a beautiful place that everyone can enjoy. There are easy trails outside that kids can easily navigate. Everything is clean and well maintained. And everyone working or volunteering was extremely friendly. The inside is also very beautiful with different exhibits and a fun kid zone.

Bonnie Wong

It’s a super cool art museum. Creative architecture and historical pieces. It’s not only the art vide there amaze me, and also their service is great. I brought my 7 month baby with me and during the tour I have to breastfeed her. And one of the employees took me to the green room. Which is super nice and I got my privacy with my little one. Definitely will come back again.

Quintin Brakebill

I love love love this Museum! Not only is it free, but its world class. Setting in the mountains of Northwest Arkansas is amazing! Alice Walton has outdone herself. My family and I had a wonderful derful time and are looking forward to coming back again. So much to see and take in with just one visit. Thank you!

Chip Ashley

Crystal Bridges has all of the things you want in a museum. It is in itself a piece of art with a strong sense of place like there is no other place in the world. There are free exhibits, there are interesting travel exhibits that require a small fee, there are adult evening events, there are kid events...indoor and outdoor...visual or auditor stimulation...job well done!

Sandra Martinez

The Frank Lloyd Wright house and the Chihuly glass installations were wonderful. The museum buildings were interesting. The art itself was okay.

Dallas Clay Williams

Arkansas is lucky to have such a magnificent collection of art. It is on par with galleries in major cities such as New York and LA. Always look forward to visiting when in the area. And the permanent collection is free admission!

Casey Lohman

Astounding beauty. Smithsonian quality. Central U.S. is so fortunate to have this place.

Chris Gwin

This place is a jewel! So grateful that we have people that can make this possible in this region. The grounds are stunning. The works of art are amazing, provoking, and unique.

Haley Mullaney

I love this place. I have been here a few times. The museum is very nice and clean and always has wonderful exhibits.

Kirk Fretwell

A broad collection of works on display both indoors and out, with savvy interpretive texts and useful self-guided tour apps. A cultural surprise just minutes from downtown. Grab lunch here to recharge your arty batteries.

JD Perry

Walk the trails leading into the museum instead of parking at the museum itself. The walk is not that far, and there is so much more to see... Including wildlife, and lots of picture spots... I was very impressed with the collection inside the museum, and I enjoyed walking through the museum and seeing all there was to see.

Christine Holyfield

Amazing art museum with beautiful outdoor walking trails. A special asset of the community, especially considering it's free to the public. Always fun events happening and special exhibits for which tickets can be purchased.

Dale Tucker

Some beautiful pieces of art here. Some may speak to you the way they did me. But all in all with the art work they have and admission always being free why not get a little culture in ya, and if you feel over cultured after visiting here, hit up some fast food on the way out! Lol.

Shruti Shah

Beautiful serene trails just perfect to end your day... friendly staff.. I was there only for about an hour but could've spent almost an entire evening.. I want to mention I got the peach ginger iced tea at the entrance.. it was such a bliss after a tiring hot day..

Blaze B

Free general admission! It is full of great pieces! We also enjoyed the Eleven restaurant. We did the buffet brunch and the food was delicious.

Let's just start out with this place is amazing! Kid friendly, adults have fun, nice place to eat and the amount of activities will keep you busy! I've been a few times and I have never been let down! My best recommendation is don't go if you are in a rush, because you will miss so much what the museum has to offer! If you children or just trying to plan a date I'd recommend going if you are in the area.

Julie Overton

My mom is an art teacher..... and I've been to more museums than anyone. Crystal Bridges is by far one of the very best I've been to. Impressive. Fabulous. Spend the whole day there!

David Cadena

This park is really big and really nice. There are several art pieces placed all over the park for visitor's enjoyment. There were public restrooms and paved paths as well as dirt/stone path trails to enjoy on mountain bikes. There are friendly staff walking around the park to assist, if necessary.

Gershelda Page

As always, very nice. Wonderful exhibits that give pause to life and just makes you forget all the stresses life brings, and focus on the moment. However, this visit the museum was uncomfortably hot. Not warm...hot! Not sure if the AC was not working, or was unable to keep up with the amount of visitors. But it caused us to cut our visit short.

Jarl Dolan

Crystal bridge was like a diamond among.. Well, I can't say rough, but maybe other smaller diamonds. The trail leading to the place was beautiful, well kept, and with plenty of the side amenities and art work. Then when we reached this place we were thoroughly surprised. Both classical American artworks and contemporary were available for viewing, and it was absolutely free. There was an art piece that was temporary available we missed out, as we didn't budget a 12 dollar ticket, but the coffee there was nice. There's a really nice fine dining area too. Oh, and the workers were fantastic, very knowledgeable, and fun to talk to. All-in-all, highly recommended, and well be going back.

Amazing. You don't always need money to have a great time. This is a free museum with a great collection of art. There's even a kid play area half way through the exhibits yo let your little one unwind and do some art of their own. Bring a pack lunch and enjoy it at the large cafe area before walking the exhibit.

Jan Lauderdale

Incredible art museum, but tonight it was all about Bucky Ball! Free and lovely way to spend an hour or so! Great for all ages. Recommend bug spray, and maybe a travel pillow.

Arianna Benassi

What a place! It's impossible to describe the place. You will understand it only of you'll visit in person!!!! Just go and enjoy it!

Michael Leininger

GREAT way to spend a few hours. BEAUTIFUL location and amazing staff throughout the facility. The facility is as inspiring as the art within. Very relaxing environment.

Tricia Coleman

This museum is amazing and I can't believe its here in Northwest Arkansas. The art is amazing, something you'd see in cities like New York, Chicago or Los Angeles. I really enjoy the exhibits they bring in every so often to keep it fresh. The museum is free so it's a great place to take friends from out of town w/o having to spend any money. I would recommend to anyone who likes art or new experiences!

Phyllis Campbell

Really amazing place with abundant art to appreciate. You could probably stay the entire day and not see everything.

Felix Linden

The best art museum I have EVER visited. The way that it connected art, nature and architecture was second to none. A world class experience and a must see for all.

Judith Kuzma

Excellent exhibits. They have very famous paintings to include those by Charles Wilson Peale, Albert Bierstadt, modern artists, etc. The museum is set in a beautiful environment. Nice museum store.

Nancy Lee Potter

This is a world class museum. Amazing to find it here in a small town!

Marisol Buzeta

One of my favorite American Museums! Is a complete delightful experience. You don't go there only for the art inside but everything about it is a gorgeous work of architecture and nature. My last visit was 3 years ago. I only recognize few of the sculptures or paintings. They are continuously being rotated so every time is like the first time. This time I saw the special exhibition named "Nature's Nation" and some of the pics are from that display. A very special treat was to see one of the houses designed by the great Frank Lloyd Wrigth. The entire structure was taken apart, documented and shipped to Crystal Bridges from New Yersey.

Tony Fuentes

The theme of this museum is Architecture, Art and Nature. Very fitting. I'd suggest parking right off the Art Trail and walking down to the museum. Beautiful landscaping everywhere. Breathtaking architecture everywhere. Amazing art everywhere. But make sure you put on some good walking shoes! We did about 14k steps that day, roughly about 6-7 miles! Plenty of places to sit inside and out though. Stop and massage your feet every once in a while. And it's free!

Organizing Downs Family

I love this place so much! The art inside and out. The exhibits are unique and extraordinary. The imagination of these artists all in one spot it's just so amazing. I love walking the trails and ride my bike on the bike trails. The unique fundraisers and different bands, music festivals. Definitely find them on Facebook. look on their calendar on their website and you will learn and see all kinds of this stuff. This is a place to go many times a year!!!

Emily Arter

This is a local treasure and a must see for visitors and residents alike. The building is gorgeous, the grounds are beautiful with multiple walking trails that are worth a day's visit alone. The grounds are cultivated to utilize nature as art. The museum proper is well organized and gives adequate space to each piece. It is spacious with well appointed seating to allow patrons to linger and become immersed in various exhibits.

Susan Signorino

My husband and I went to Crystal Bridges today. Loved it! The permanent exhibits are free as well as the Frank Lloyd Wright Home. The temporary exhibit was the only thing that cost. The architecture of the museum as well as the grounds was were beautiful. The restaurant food/service was superb. The museum store was excellent. All of the volunteers/employees were very friendly and professional. Recommend you visit if you're passing through. Bentonville is very lucky to have this museum.

I have a deep passion for Art and really plan on going to colleges to become an Artist to sculpt/draw detailed drawings like the ones I saw. It might take a few years but I'm sure one of them will be introduced to Art Museums such as this one and from there plenty more of mine will be added, depending on the person's views and opinions. The opportunity to see visual Art and Art Photography for free just makes me want to go to other Art Museums like this one.. Agh, can't express my love in enough words.

Mark Richardson

Get cultured with art, distinctive architecture, and observe the beautiful surroundings. When I leave here I always feel like asking the Curator Pardon me, would you have any Grey Poupon?

Guard Girl

Such friendly staff and what a beautiful place. It's so perfect for family outings. I will definitely be going back sometime this summer

Laura Brewer

If you like art....go for it. I heard so many ravings about it on FB I had to go. Don't believe everything on FB.

Jazmine Gibbons

It was amazing! A beautiful place about history, art, culture, and nature. It's a great place to see if you visit Arkansas. I came from Michigan and was blown away.

Larry Curfiss

An absolute "must see" attraction. The art displays are totally amazing even for someone that cannot really appreciate the arts as a culture! A huge Thank You to Alice Walton, daughter of Sam Walton (Walmart founder), for making this wonderful museum available! This is an attraction I would go back to see again if ever in Arkansas.

Marie Elise

Beautiful exhibits! Employees were nice. However, Costruction areas were NOT marked off at every entry point and the outdoor employee was very accusatory when we tried to explain that we had gone on an unmarked pathway. I feel like she should have just asked us to show her where that was? Food was good too. Gift shop is PRICEY.

Liz Dixon

Excellent collection and amazing architecture! So enjoyed the day.

Ashley Carter-Mooneyham

Definitely worth stopping and looking around. Beautiful outdoor walkways and the architecture is gorgeous you can really tell they spent some time on getting everything just right. There are some famous pieces that we're really cool to see in person a Jasper Jones and a Mark Rothko. After walking through some classical and modern artwork, there is a large cafe were you can order lunch or get a coffee with some great views of the outdoor garden spaces. I will definitely visit again.

Vogue Libertine

I love coming here. It's so easy to spend an entire day here. So beautiful. Makes for a very relaxing, enlightening day. Staff is always friendly and super helpful.

Annie M

It was even better the second time than my first visit. Stunning art in a variety of different styles. Amazing how well the pieces are preserved, even the ones that are hundreds of years old. Can't wait to go back!

Natalie Rice

What a wonderful place to spend the day with the family! Along side the art exhibits, we came across tons of different wildlife. In the waters we saw fish of all sizes, hundreds of tadpoles, snapping turtles and a snake. Along one of the walls we also saw a ground hog happily eating away at the greenery. The indoor art is plentiful and uniquely displayed. There are several outdoor exhibits and lots of walking trails. If you get hungry or just want a quick pick-me-up, there is a restaurant and coffee bar available in the lobby. This was our first visit here, but we will gladly be returning in the future!

Susan Best

The temporary American Art exhibit is worth traveling to. Spectacular visually, with much thoughtful research and presentation of ideas. (That usually annoys me as I come just for the art, but this was a masterful juxtaposition of paintings, history, and the questioning of the forces of change in America).

Nuris Fitzgerald

This place is amazing! so much to see and do and love it that it's free. You only pay for the exhibit room. The gardens and walking trails have sculptures and arts around. Fun place to bring your home family!!! It is a must see place
