Good place to visit, for interesting local history. Most of the information would be hard to find in published historical records making this place a Jem. Work your way around and you will find out why route 66 in Kingman is known as Andy Divine Road. Also enjoyable is the "interpretive" history of the Mohave.

Fantastic museum. Entrance fee is only 4 dollars for adults. In addition to local and western exhibits, the museum has a great presidential exhibit (including first ladies!) With US history. Great place to spend an afternoon!

Mahala Davis

Between being one of three locations you can see every portrait of our presidents and first ladies in America, to showcasing the unique history of mohave county and both its indigenous and pioneer communities in an unique and extreme detail, to the least expensive entrance fee I've seen on route 66, I'd say that it was quite worth the visit. Lovely stuff.

Staff was great. Had a Groupon $9 for 2 people and had the opportunity to see 3 total museums. Lots to see. The outdoor exhibit was a nice small exhibit

This museum is dedicated to the ancient people that lived in the area to the settlers that traveled across country in search of a dream and a better life. Route 66 brought Native Americans, ranchers, miners, soldiers and everyday people to an area to find a new life. This museum is filled with artifacts and stories of the hardships they endured and the determination of those people. Fascinating real life accounts, photographs and maps to bring us closer to the past. They also have an hour long film which you should take time to watch and a room filled with the first electric cars. A must see!

Richard Davis

Nice little museum. Good illustration of the area's history, gave me a sense if development here from the indigenous people forward.

Here I go again. Another small museum in a desert city, with miles and miles of miles and miles in all directions from Kingman. This is, for me anyway, a wonderful stop between Las Vegas and Phoenix, Via Wickenburg of course! The mural on the outside is inviting, the docents are so friendly, some may feel like victims, as the docent continues telling history and presidential facts, and how much they love their town, it is very sweet. Now the Museum, Andy Devine (probably unknwn to the current generation f Yelpers) was born in Kingman and he has a special room of memorabilia. He was quite a star in his era. The complete set of presidential and first lady portraits in excellent. This is only one of 3 (or four depending on who tells the story) sets in the world. With the docent passing interesting tidbits about many of the presidents it really adds to the flavor of this museum. There is a lot of rusty stuff about mining and the railroad era, a move abut one of the last steam engines, history about WWII and the thousands of planes that ended up in Kingman, The entry fee was 3 buck a head and includes 2 other historic places in Kingman. So Stop, Stretch your legs, and enjoy a bit of southwestern history..

The Mohave Museum of Industry is included in the price for the Arizona Route 66 Museum. An eclectic display of Native American, Cowboy/Ranching/Americana and Andy Devine artifacts.

A very good museum with lots to see inside and outdoors. Railroad cars you can enter and mock mine shafts to explore. Inside has a impressive assortment of all types of items from the western frontier day's. I will come back whenever in town to show my friends. Extremely friendly service with lots of answers to questions.
