REVIEWS OF Arizona Museum of Natural History IN Arizona

Renard Gittens

This place is AWESOME. We drove down on Thursday from Chino Valley to spend the day and take my daughter to the museum. She loved it, my wife loved it, and I loved it. Fun for all ages if you're interested in history, and science. Lots of activities for kids. Admission is a tad pricey but well worth it in my mind. Staff was very friendly and helpful and answered all our questions with expertise and confidence. Will certainly be returning.

John Owens

Great experience! Excellent displays and the interactions were well thought out. Our 5 year old grandson enjoyed every minute he was there. The dinosaur displays were excellent, and a much better value than Pangaea Land of the Dinosaurs in Scottsdale. A perfect place to go on a hot Arizona day. A small cafeteria would be a nice addition

C Curtis

This place is absolutely amazing! Their exhibits are fun, detailed, interactive, and totally capture imaginations at all ages. It's simple enough to be friendly for kids, and fascinating enough to be interesting for adults. Make sure you grab a map or look for directions while you're there!!! There's so much that it's easy to miss whole rooms without realizing it. I've been here twice in the last three years, and I've been beyond impressed both times.

Michelle Hottya

This is my kids' favorite place in the whole world. They have great programs and friendly staff.

Clifford Morgan

A hidden jewel! Great exhibits for all ages. Multiple hands on/interactive spots for kids.

alyssa cavagnaro

I knew my 3 year old would love this but my 2 year old did as well! I didnt have a stroller with me and was concerned but it was a very nice walk through. Not to long and enough activities to keep the kids busy. Dinosaurs were a sure hit for my kiddos. A few discounts can be used to make this a great educational and penny saving activity to do during the summer with your kids!

Erin Blaskowsky

Went yesterday and had a great time. The water overflow was down but everything else was up. There are a ton of puzzles and random hands on activities. It was a lot bigger than i imagined.

Heather Wilkinson

The staff is very friendly! I like that there are employees spread out throughout the museum to answer questions or help you find things. There are lots of hands-on games and puzzles for the kids to play with.

Luis Carbajal

This museum is great for kids as they can learn about the history of pretty much everything. There is also puzzles and activities like gold panning to keep the kifs entertained. I recommend you to go to this museum.!

Stephanie Tannin

Wow! Hidden gem! We learned, played and had plenty of hands on fun here. My kids are 5, 2 and 1 and they all enjoyed the museum.

Bongo Jon

Educational museum that is enjoyable and fun for all ages. Kids will REALLY enjoy panning for gold!

Jane Fitzgerald

This is a really great museum. It has a little natural history, a little geology, a little artwork and a lot of dinosaurs. Little ones can also pan for gold which is way cool!

Mike Sneed

Great place to learn about the different cultures and also learn about dinosaurs and the different time periods.

Tony Pods

Great experience with a very reasonable price. Open Sundays which was nice. Nice mixture of exhibits for both adults and kids to enjoy.

Don McCoy

Fun place to spend an afternoon with the kids. Expect to spend about 2 hours here to see everything, then there are plenty of restaurants in the area to grab a bite to eat after.

Cara Thompson

Nice museum, but could use some updating. Fun tour through geologic evolution of Arizona. Our 2 year old loves the dinosaurs. Nice kids room for play.

Christine Wallace

Fun place to take kids, very educational. Great place to spend the afternoon. I only wish they had the evolution of human species display.

Joe Hartwick

Cool place...good prices. Turned out to be a good place to visit.

Linda P

So much to see! This museum is a must. We took all the kids 16, 14, 10 and 5 and they all were interested throughout the whole museum. We spent about 2 1/2 hours there they have little activity stations setup throughout for the kids. The staff were friendly and informative

S UT

So cool!!! So many things to look at! Not all of it is dinosaurs, i dont wanna be the spoiler, go check it out!

Paola Sampson

Love it there. Our favorite place for my daughter to go to Dinosaur camp, dinosaur Easter Egg hunt, Dinosaur birthday party and everyday ro take friends. The gift shop is very reasonable. Totally recommend the Azmnh

Allie Ramirez

My 3 year old who loves dinosaurs had the best time ever! He ask to go back every single day. Definitely recommend

Benjamin Caldwell

Large multiple leveled indoor and outdoor space with a variety of interesting exhibits for families.

Cathy Kalkbrenner

I've been bringing my children and grandchildren to the Mesa Museum of Natural History for years and it's always fun for both the kids and adults. This is the first time I've ever been to the Museum for a birthday party and it was so much fun. The kids got to do craft projects like make your own Dinosaur hand puppet and there were cool toys to play with in the party room and lots of space for enjoying the refreshments and opening presents but the best part was after the birthday festivities we wereinvited to stay and explore all the wonderful fossils and relics the Museum had to offer and we all loved it! At the end of the day we made a stop at the gift shop to buy a couple of souvenirs and found so many treasures there. We will definitely be coming back to the Mesa Museum of Natural History soon to see what else we can discover.

M C

Compared to some of the other kid attractions in the Phoenix area, this place is a great value for the money spent. It represents a diverse educational experience (dinosaurs, local history and culture) with many interactive games and exhibits. I think it would be difficult to enjoy everything in one visit. The gold mining area is especially creative. Thumbs up!

Amanda Greenwood

The museum was really interesting! Even my 13 year old loved it and the cost is very affordable. I'm considering buying an annual pass so we can go back and take advantage of the other discounts included.

Graig Barkworth

We went to this museum on one of their free Sundays. You get a tag which allows you 1 1/2 hours in the place which for us was plenty of time. Because of the free day there were lots of people especially kids but the museum is arranged to handle the crowd. Inside we learned about the prehistoric and ancient Southwest with interesting displays and dioramas. From the outside the museum looks like a pretty ordinary two story building. But inside it is actually three stories and quite large. We enjoyed our visit very much.

Angela

Fun and interactive. We took our 8 year old nephew and it kept him entertained for hours. They did a great job for a natural history museum in AZ.

Linny Allsop

Fantastic place to go with kids. My kids (5, 2.5, 7m) all found things to look at and play with there. They have several interactive exhibits and puzzles for the kids to do. The Exploration Station was a fantastic room. We basically looked at and played with all the dinosaurs things they have there for 2.5 hours. And we could have spent more time there. We will definitely be going back soon! ❤️

Tammy M

Fun way to spend the afternoon. Admission is very reasonable and the price at the gift shop were great. I loved looking at all the dinosaurs

Nicholas Mansell

Lot of cool things and a decent gift shop but smaller than expecting.

sam yoon

Small but very well put together museum that has a good collection and information for kids and adults.

Ralph Jacobo

Nice place. Reasonable pricing. A lot of interesting information to soak in.

Doris Dybowski

VERY impressed! Son and family took me for the first time. The grandgirls truly enjoyed themselves. Keep up the good work!! It is a must see!

Caitlin Wood

We had our 4 year olds birthday party here. It was so much fun! People told us it was the nesy litlle kids birthday they have been to.

Marie Clark

My son had a blast at the museum today. We got to spend quality time together and it was a fun learning experience.

Lyndsay Stevens

Not just for kids! Went here with all adults and we had a great time. Small but thorough and lots of cool information. Makes for a great Sunday afternoon or date night!

T. Farris

Good experience for kids at a fair price. Not that big on the inside, but kids really enjoyed it. I'd say perfect for kids 12 and under. Probably 45 minutes to see it all.

Dylan McNeill

This is a gem (pun intentional) of a place in Mesa. With artifacts from local digs, something for all ages. It isn't just about dinosaurs: there is native American (not just local) arts and culture, meteorites, exotic fish. From the outside, you would not believe how much cool stuff there is here. I've been to the Chicago Museum of Natural History. This place is cosier and more kid friendly and digestible, and much better price. Get the family membership, as you will come back, and you will see more!

Karolyn Benger

Really interesting place, fairly interactive for kids. Mine are 9 and 11 and quite into science and such so this place was a little young for them. Is recommend it to ages 8 and under.

Susan Davis

My son and I had a great time today. The staff was really nice and knowledgeable about the exhibits. The prices in the gift shop where amazing.

Mr Mookie

Great place for people of all ages. Many rock fossils, displays, and interactive learning areas. All the volunteers were very nice, knowledgeable, and seemed to enjoy teaching!

Mr. Paul

Visit if you love the natural history of Arizona. Huge mineral collections, dinosaur bones, lots of history, a portion of the Mesa jail, and everything in between! Good price too.

Brianna Hazelman

AMAZING!! Lots of really cool displays about dinosaurs and the ancient seas of America, native Americans and other ancient cultures. Pottery displays, gold mining experience, old Mesa jail cells and underground cave tunnels! My kids adored it and so did I! Gift store was reasonably priced and we spent hours in the museum! There wasnt a ton of people so you could really look at each exhibit ! Also had little play stations all around for little kids!

ghislaine gilbert

ForWalking up, there's a dinosaur sticking out of the building! Right inside are large skeletons and fun displays. I love how it spirals from the first floor to lower levels! The waterfall is very cool. And then when the flash flood happens it's even better. I like that there was a room where kids could do activities or play with some of the toys. My daughter enjoyed every part of this museum including looking at the glass displays. there were plenty of hand on activities throughout the museum to keep her engaged and entertained. I enjoyed it so much we bought a membership.

Aaron Kinsley

Great place to learn for children as well as adults. More than just dinosaurs. 3 stories of different themes of AZ history. Great Sunday afternoon activity!

Pam L.

We went here with our nieces, ages 2 & 4, and they really enjoyed it. In fact, we all enjoyed our 2 hour visit so much that we got a membership so we can have unlimited visits.

John Fitterer

Great museum. The Earth's history through and including dinosaurs was very well done. Fantastic dinosaur fossils.

E Holland

Great visit, great for young kids.I brought the stroller for my toddler and it was easy to get around. There is an elevator. There was also an activity room with lots of tables to sit and due various art or play activities. Spent an hour and half. Saw everything, but will go back with friends when they visit. Free parking right next door to the bldg.

Angela Lower

My grandson, age 2, is a dinosaur NUT. He was so excited to see the dinosaurs. His favorite part was excavating for fossils.

女王

I was surprised there's such a museum excised in the area.. really enjoyed the visting while was where.

Jj Avi

Tracy Geer

Love taking my Granbabies here..and so glad they'll be expanding the exhibits sometime..hopefully soon

Maria Ayala

It's very nice, I thought it was bigger. My husband had a blast looking for gold

Mia Rodriguez

I like the EBT discount...my son loved the slide..the set up and cultural artifacts were amazing...only complaint is this place DOES require your ID if u use a debit card so make sure u bring ur purse/wallet(I had to leave walk all the way back to where I parked then get to the back of a long line)

Sarah Bochenek

So much! It just keeps going! Very fascinating!

Alexander Monson

Took the Grandkids (3 of them) to the Easter Egg Hunt and was not disappointed. There was so much more to do than look for eggs; the kids slid down slides, saw themselves dancing and making faces on a full sized screen, panned for gold, crawled thru tunnels and looked for the Golden Egg and the special sought after prize that was promised. This museum also has sleepovers...……..Great, great fun!!

Marc DeBord

Excellent, American Historically profoundly enjoyable visit.

Emmanuelle C.

Wonderful place for the little ones and grown ups. Awesome exhibits that are very well put together.

D Mac

Was a little worried there wouldn't be much to do with my toddler there, but there was tons to do! She was very busy and loved all the dinosaurs and water fall!

Carlos Gameros

We bid on tickets at a silent raffle for this place. Prior to this, we did not know it existed. This ended up being my kids favorites museum in Arizona. There is lots to see and do. This place would be a great location for schools to visit on field trips. Lots of dinosaurs and native American history.

alexia caldwell

Definitely worth a visit and still fun after a few visits :)

T. Currie

Lots to do an see, with enough interaction to keep the under ten crowd interested longer than the typical ten. Great diversity of exhibits, and good mix of indoor and outdoor.

El Riggers

Fun with my grandson.a dino fanatic.was a bit disappointed that renovations were taking place on the main dino exhibit.

Andy So

I like this museum a lot. A great spot to spend an afternoon. :o

Adrian Nichols

Very informative good if you have children

Jaz Bustillos

I just went with my family for the first time to this museum. It was a fun and educational experience, also the staff was very informative. It's a great place for all ages.

Dalton White

A great place to bring the kids! Dinos and gold digging amusing for all!

Dora Ballesteros

My boys had as lot of fun! Very well worth the trip, also inexpensive. Will definitely come back!!

Ellie Platt

Good museum. I learned so much in my time there. Any kid or adult who goes will better understand how things are ran and our history.

Hew Shearman

This is a well thought out museum. You are constantly surprised by what is round the corner and the dinosaurs throughout would put dedicated dinosaur theme park to shame. Total cost young family 5 around $50 about right. Experts on hand to give informed insight on range subjects. Basically excellent. We needed to kill some time so we went here. It was a good informative museum. I’d say more for the 5-12 year old age. They have animated dinosaurs. A lot of hands on stuff and learning rooms. It took a couple hours to walk through. Reasonably priced.

Daniel Hall

This museum looks small from the outside but it has several stories packed with great exhibits on the inside. A central feature is an impressive three story mountain with animatronic dinosaurs and a periodic simulated thunderstorm with flash flooding. There are a lot of fun interactive exhibits for kids, including gold-panning, dinosaur bone excavation, and a room where kids can get their picture taken riding a dinosaur. The gift shop is small but has a good variety of souvenirs beyond the typical stuff, including jewelry, fossils, baskets, and minerals. My family has been there many times and it is well worth the admission price.

Katie Martin

Great museum for kids. A lot of cool information about Arizona and surrounding areas. The dinosaur mountain is really cool! You can walk through old jails and pan for “gems” outside.

Arina Iak

Great place to visit with a child. It is a pity my 4-y.o. enjoyed the kids area most of all, as there is so much more interesting stuff to see!

REDDLINE

Very fun, entertaining and informative. At the time I went I got admission for $2 a person. Very worth it and my kids loved it and all the activities they had for then to do. I recommend it.

a little bit of gaming

I would recommend bringing your kids to this museum there's ton of history to learn about!!

Kim Davis

Spent so much time here with my little ones. If I had known it would be so much fun, I would have bought an annual pass! Plenty of activity exhibits for kids, but also many neat things for adults. Highly recommend!

Junior León

Love this place, haven’t been in a couple of decades but still just as great

Skylar Mcmillan

I enjoy coming here with my family. Lots of stuff to entertain the little one and fun stuff for my wife and I.

Daniel Zamarripa

My kids were so excited to come here, about 20 min. Inn the security came and took pictures of my children and asked us to leave. I am furious and my children are hurt because of this creepy sad little man. If your child or children show too much excitement beware, they will ask you to leave.

Jay Kozykoski

Awesome place with really friendly and knowledgeable staff. 10/10 would recommend.

James Kamb

Great experience for the whole family. The Arizona Museum of Natural History is another one of Metro Phoenix's wonderful attractions. A fairly inexpensive option located in Downtown Mess, the museum has exhibits with dinosaurs, Native American artifacts, movies filled in Arizona, panning for gold, a prison and a children's play area. With so much to do visits young and old will have fun.

Callean Bocock

This museum is convenient to get to (if you are in the area), there is free parking nearby for up to three hours, and the cost is very reasonable. For three of us, two adults one child, it was less than $30!!!That's hard to beat compared to other kid friendly museums. We have gone three times and I will add pictures. You can pan for gold out back, learn a little about Native American culture, explore various sized dinosaurs, learn about poisonous creatures and insects that inhabit the Southwest, create skyscrapers or whatever you'd like with wooden blocks, explore about 10 different jail cells, tour a mine, learn some about various movies or become a part of old western yourself!

Nicholas Desmond

This is the first time I've ever been to Arizona Museum of Natural History and I must say I was not disappointed it wasn't very busy which meant it wasn't very crowded and it was nice just taking my time to look at everything I would definitely recommend going here. Looking at the dinosaur bones was very impressive going down to the jail cell / mining section was very immersive just to name a few a overall enjoyable experience

Transformers 101

Been coming since I was little still amazing and super fun.

Lydia Pinckney

Very informative a lot of history from different times of the past. And I even found real amethyst stones when I went sand mining

Alexandra Porter

My 2 year old loves dinosaurs and had a blast here. A lot to look at and learn. Staff was super helpful and friendly. The Dino Zone and fossil dig are great for kids. We spent close to 2 hours here. There’s a free parking lot across the street as well.

Rose's Bud

Great family activities! Even toddlers have fun. Recommend getting a membership - you'll want to come back.

Michael Muse

Great exhibits. Many dinosaurs!

Valerie Ritchie

We love it here! The dinosaur exhibits are amazing! And they even have an interactive classroom for the little kids.

Aubrey Kashiwagi

I have been getting the yearly pass every year and go almost weekly with my kids. Such a fun, cool event in the summer! All ages and gender appropriate, even fun for me. Love this place!!

Hugo Sanchez

Nice place to take the kids.the kids love it..

Linda Hoffner

We did not go in because it cost 12. Per adult and it was a little late. It did look beat for kids. Lots of dinosaurs etc.

Cindy Honea

Fun for the littles. A bit pricey, but worth it if your kiddos like dinosaurs. Staff was super patient with all my kiddos questions about Dino's.

Nic Feinstein

Had a blast, the history, displays and information were awesome. The building alone is awesome. It has to be 4 or 5 floors, under ground and above. Did not expect any of that when we went.

linda flores

Nope, I am not hate this place , I love it.

J C

Engaging staff, cool things to see. No food though have to go out to eat.

Shayden Landis

A neat place to see fake dinosaurs, get some history and see places for future explorations

brianna houghton

"Gold mining " was so much fun great date spot :)))

Irma Gonzalez

The museum has robotic dinosaurs as well slide for the little ones my 4 and 8 y/o love it, the museum its 4 story that's amazing. It has a water environment for all dinosaurs.

melmore123

Fun museum! Just when we thought we were done we found a whole 9ther section! Lots of fun

Rachel Petersen

Great place for families to come. The kids really enjoyed it. The jail cells and the dinosaurs are a little loud so if you have a sound sensitive you might want to avoid that area of tell the child in advance. Panning for gold was fun.

FlashdashRose Cosplay & Photography

The dinosaurs and flash flood were neat. Loved panning for gold. The gift shop had a nice selection. Front desk guy was really friendly and helpful. The museum was a little smaller than I'd expected.

Russell Beal

Loved all the exhibits, so much to see and learn!

Jake Orgyen

They packed a lot of stuff into a small museum. Definitely surprising and worth admission.

Natalie Pollet

Spent the morning here with my nieces--ages 2 and 4. It was a wonderful trip! It is a perfect place to bring young kids. There were quite a few field trips so it got a little loud, but it was not horrible and we were still able to see all we wanted to in the 2 hours we spent here.

Stephanie Schroeder

It was a good feild trip. The dinosaurs were pretty exciting but seemed the kids enjoyed looking for the gold the most. Pretty fun idea.

William Shaheen

This is a fantastic place. It spans 3 levels with lots of side rooms with exquisite displays, including several moving dinosaurs. Don't worry. They're not real. Yet. Great experience for young and old. Allow at least a couple hours to take it all in.

Ismael Ramirez

The museum was fantastic but they would make alot more money with a bigger gift shop

Cort Nielsen

We like this place. Lots of fun things for our kids to see and play with. They will get wet panning for gold. Fun to do in the summertime. Occasionally have free or discounted days.

Marlene Smith

This is a hard review because the reason we didn't enjoy it like we would have was because there were several field trips worth of kids there who were NOT under control. We wish we would have gone late afternoon after they all went home. It's sad that the chaperones had no control. They were running and screaming constantly...and it's not a huge place. The guy at the front desk was absolutely not informative as to what would be the best route thru the museum. In fact his colleague is the one who told us how to go thru. There was another guy down the hall explaining some things...he was great. The rock display is really nice....needs to be dusted. We didn't end up seeing upstairs because it was so noisy in there, my husband who has had a brain injury just couldn't handle being in there any longer.

Eric Garlid

My kids and I love this place. There's so much to learn and so many hands on exhibits!

Anna Van

Amazing museum! Interactive displays and is a lot larger than it looks from the outside! Stories of fun, well put together displays. Great technology with interactive tv screens, light shows and full skeletons. Even has a real waterfall with lifelike habitats. Highly recommend for the everyone, especially little ones! Very impressive! Gift shop has great dinosaur toys! Overall 5 star experience and even bought the year membership.

Jena Dickson

Good place to take the kids. Easy to walk around and learn. Fun place for my 6 year old.

Michelle Brust

There's a lot to do here! Museum is clean, easy to navigate, and the exhibits are set up great. On some exhibits, I wish there was more information. There was only one exhibit that wasn't great and it was more because its location (it seemed to be in the middle of a major walking path). Otherwise a very enjoyable experience.

Michelle Patton

This was awesome and had a lot to look at and the workers were friendly. Definitely planning on coming back in the future.

Amanda Topchi

Very educational and lots to see! We will definatly be back! A little crazy when they have school field trips, but its a museum so it's to be expected.

Emily Tehrani

Cool exhibits. Not a huge space. Probably better for younger kids.

Nilüfer Orhan

One of the best museums i have ever met. We loved all the fossils. There are many enjoyable attractions for kids and also a kids club room for puzzles, painting etc. Searching for gold in the river and digging for fossils were so fun for my 3 years old child.

A, two K,E,M Family infinity

My favorite place to learn and have fun. Dinosaurs to gold panning for kids even space exploration and more! Kids under 10 have most fun. Stroller friendly and great family stop! I would give 5 but parking is not easy. No food or drink allowed. Call ahead so you don’t show up on a busy field trip schedule.

Michael P

Nice place I come here often. Knocking off a few points for my experience today. As I was paying at the front desk the male with black glasses was complaining to another coworker that he's "sick of all the annoying kids that come in." This museum seems like it's focused on educating young minds, so I'm not sure why an employee would be complaining about children. Seemed very unprofessional, especially to vocalize it directly in front of parents.

Seda Peacher

Really cool place to take kids to learn and have fun!

Kathleen Graves

We are members and go a lot during the year. Grandchildren love it. Got it for them at Christmas. We were at Science day and thoroughly enjoyed it. Great day

R. C.

Great for couples, but mostly for kids & families. Fantastic & fun way of learning a little about the history. Fair prices, lots of parking, easy location to find and lots to look at. Didn’t get the chance to go into the gift shop but passing by it a few times, there’s lots to choose from.

Irene Bee

I love this place. I’ve taken my kids multiple times and they love it every time. It’s very clean and everyone is friendly.

Arriyah J

My children & I love this museum - especially when it's free on most first Sundays of each month (always double check online prior).

james roberts

Very interesting and well created exhibits. Amazing models. Perfect for children who love dinosaurs

Tamera Sellers

I really enjoyed touring this building I brought my nephew along who was 13 and I must say for a young man of that age it was extremely hard to keep his attention. It was quiet and informative something for an older child or an adult to enjoy but my younger counterpart totally lost intereset and became hard to deal with before our excursion ended..I strongly suggest for adults and children alike who are very interested in reading and looking at past historical information on a individual basis because there are no tour guides or movies to learn from other than reading what is posted by the displays..

Pat L.

Fun place. Lots of dinosaurs and other history stuff. Reasonable price, ten dollars for seniors. Worth going to. I had fun.

mary wisbey

Reasonably priced. There were more dinosaurs than other exhibits. This museum appeals more to families based on the aesthetic: different fonts, bright colors, lots of hands-on activities. I do wonder if anyone proofread the information plaques before printing. Look closely and you will find a typo that changes the meaning. The indigenous people exhibit was the most interesting, but I wished there'd been more info on cultures. The museum is a little like a maze. We got lost and missed a section. I don't know if we'd go back, but if you are in the area, it might be worth checking out.

Johana Perez

Great experience. I went yesterday. They should be opening two more exhibits in the next couple of months.

Becky Adair

We love it here! Got a year family membership after our first visit and renewed it already. Never gets old

salvan gang

omg it's so fun here i got a lot of gold from the find your own gold station & very nice dinosaurs

Venus

This is an Awesome place for families. Very educational and fun. Highly recommend it and if you buy a membership it's very reasonable too

Colette Tejeda

This is such an amazing place to visit. We have been going aince my oldest was 1. She is now 9 and every time she makes a new discovery or is interested in a different facet of the musuem. This place definitely grows with us. Not to mention that on weekends or busy days they bring out cool additional displays and museum staff with interesting information.

Ben S

Great place and atmosphere. I'm giving it a 3 star rating bc a front desk male employee with dark hair and glasses was very rude to my family. Had a careless attitude like he didn't want to be there and didn't want to be bothered with any questions regarding the museum. This was our first experience here so that was a major turn off. I'm not sure why he was hired in the first place, especially having him work at the front desk seems like a very poor managment decision.

Sarah Lee Marks

Fabulous fun for family and friends of all ages !

Camina Davis

Facinating place! Well organized and an easy flow through all the exibits. The interactive exibits will delight and enthrall you and your children. We had so much fun and plan to return soon.

Gesdia Kelly

Very nice. My grandson loves dinosaurs. He can name them all. We really liked it especially my grandbabies

Matthew Jones

Great way to kill some time and get out of the heat. Tons to see and learn.

Brenda

Way bigger than I thought it would be. Great fun and air conditioning:)

niki webb

So fun! We went with my 3 year old and my friend's 2 year old and they had a blast! So many interactive stations for the toddlers and so much to see. It was pretty loud because we happened to go when a large field trip was there. Also, stroller friendly but it can get kinda annoying to have to go find the elevator when wanting to go up and down the levels.

sagar patkar

Went here for the Easter egg hunt. The staff is super nice and knowledgeable. They were fully immersed in the egg hunt activities, but could still answer any questions you had about the displays. The mineral exhibits are breathtakingly beautiful. Even some fool's gold samples on display. Don't miss the meteorite.

Christopher Jackson

Went on a daddy daughter date here, and for the most part had fun until the end where the children's slide is, well someone thought it would be a good idea to Attach a 2 × 4 at the bottom of the slide to were my daughter Got injured not once but twice hitting her tailbone on that 2 × 4, Also in that same area looked to be another exhibit of some sort which was currently under construction and there were no Barricades or anything to keep children or anybody out of that area. Consequently there were children playing there, and no employees were around to address the safety concern. Over all it was a good experience, before we would return These safety concerns need to be addressed.

Jocelyn Garcia

Been there twice and I love it every time I go!

Steve Farmer

This museum is a must visit if you in downtown Mesa for any reason. You'll be surprised what they have on display here! Some of the best prehistoric collections live right here!

Allison Aguirre

This is truly a hidden gem! Such a fun place for kids, but also interesting for adults!

lovely truko

Amazing ! It was so fun and there so many activities there to do it's so cool and good for every member of the family♡!

BloodyBlak

It's small but cool. My daughter loved the dino exhibit and the old jail cells and old mine exhibit. You can actually pan for gold (pyrite) which was cool too. If you have young kids, I definitely recommend.

There is an impressive collection of dinosaur casts and informative displays about many different kinds of scientific subjects. Also, from inside the museum, you are allowed to enter the historic mesa jail. If you are interested in ancient artifacts, there are some spanish weapons left behind by explorers and an impressive full body armor. Overall, an interesting experience for both children and adults.
