I love this museum. I have been going here since I was a child and I always thought itwas fascinating. And it turns out you can host events here! So I booked this amazing museum as the location for my wedding. It was beautiful! We haf the ceremony in the treasures hall, one of the coolest parts of the museum! And the reception was held in the auditorium where we had a lot of decorating freedom. We were ablr to let guests wander and view the museum during cocktail hour, and I got so many compliments on that part. The museum staff, particularly Nicola the event coordinator, were so easy to work with. I highly recommend doing an event at this gorgeous location!!!!

The exhibits were very well done, if missing some explanation. Right now they are featuring Pancho Villa, but they do not give the full story. It is a PC version. They also have a display of black millionaires, but there are only two and only one of those is a millionaire. The mining display is one of the best I have ever seen. Not to be missed. Do go through the mine tunnel, it will be educational.

Lots of info on many aspects of AZ history as well as the city of Tucson. Many artifacts on display. Hands-on area for children. Free parking one block from the museum. Well worth a few hours of time to check it out.

The museum was beautifully organized despite not being chronological. There are unique exhibits depicting Tucson in 1870s and a mining hall, which probably are the best way to portray day-to-day living. Highly recommend for anyone around the university having a couple of hours in hand !

Anybody who has an interest in US history like I do should come and visit the Arizona History Museum and learn about the role of Arizona the foundation and securing of Arizona as a part of the United States although there are sad parts the imprisonment of Geronimo and Native American tribes the internment of Americans of Japanese descent they have all played a role in the tapestry of our country. Fascinating exhibit on how mining; gold silver other minerals played in the creation of Arizona

Hello Arizona! Look at your history. I came here by accident while on my whirlwind tour of Blue Star Museums. Thankfully this awesome museum of massive historical proportions was a participating member. Thank you for this amazing program to expose military members to the arts. There were many exhibits detailing the state of Arizona. I also learned about the Studebaker car named after Arizona Sheriffs. Something I did not know. The exhibits cater to adults as much as children. Many items on view were relevant to the great state history. There were also many activities for kids to participate in to include a mine recreation, and historical play areas. I would recommend this museum for all ages to experience a trip back into the history of Arizona.

(Translated by Google) It was very interesting to visit this museum. It was a bit tricky to find it due to construction work but it is right in front of the Marriott. It was very interesting to observe the first means of transport that existed at the time and the replica of the mine where there was one of the first lifts and a replica of a mill. Also very interesting are the finds and galleries dedicated to the first tribes of Native Americans who inhabited the state of Arizona and, in particular, the area of Tucson. If you are interested in learning well the history of the tribes that have existed and that still exist in this area, I recommend the State Museum within the University of Arizona. State Museum all’interno dell’Università dell’Arizona.
