Nice and very informative.

Cafeteria was nice but it literally took forever to get our food... almost an hour! Just standing in line to order took over half an hour. Very frustrating when your starving after hiking all the way up there. We didn't even come during the lunch rush, it was a little after 2 when we got in line to order.

Meryl Loseke

Beautiful hotel and setting. When visiting be sure to take the tram to the top of the mountain. The view is spectacular. Several glaciers and view of Turnigians arm.

The staff at Alyeska lodge go to the extra mile to make our stay so fun and enjoyable for everyone. Their service extends to the members of our family not staying with us here in the lodge. This is like our home away from home where everyone is welcome! Our tram ride up was gorgeous, and learning some natural history on the way was a plus. The view here is amazing all the way around. Being able to play in the snow at the glacier viewing level was such a joy. Going to the bar for delightfully reinterpreted desserts was very memorable. Even more memorable were Marnie and Kasey, who work in the Seven Glaciers restaurant. They were funny and nice and let us come in, even though the restaurant was almost closed. We aren't accustomed to so much sunlight we wanted to keep having fun! Thank you! On an earlier visit to The Roundhouse we found the gift shop was well stocked with affordable, locally made souvenirs; the young women working there were really charming and fluent in English. It was a real treat to meet some nice ladies from Kazakhstan! This truly is a world-class destination.

Great little stop to get warmed up at. Inside you have a history presented behind the resort and a model of the area with its surrounding Glaciers.

Must be in the most breathtaking spot for a museum in the world. Best place to charcoal out Girdwood and Alyeska's history. Lot of love and money went into it. Check it out

The Round House Museum is a great spot to take pictures of Alyeska Resort, Girdwood, and the distant Turnagain Arm. I agree with some of the reviews that the Round House Museum can feel like a gift shop, however there is plenty of history inside to qualify as a museum. Visit their website for a preview! Grab a hot drink, relax, then go inside the Round House Museum to warm-up and learn more about the Alyeska Mountain.
