Place was interesting. A little small. I found out later that there was an upstairs but it was closed.

(Translated by Google) Nice museum, especially fun was the possibility to make shots in disguise. Picture is printed on old trimmed. (Original) Nettes Museum, besonders witzig war die Möglichkeit, Aufnahmen in Verkleidung zu machen. Bild wird auf alt getrimmt ausgedruckt.

This is a great volunteer run local museum with many artifacts. Admission is by donation. It is not a good museum for small children as many of the items are not behind glass cases and could be damaged by inquisitive kids. However, if your children are older (8+) or just adults are visiting, I highly recommend it. There are sections on gold mining, communication, farming, clothing, etc. If you are interested in what life in Alaska was like in the early 1900s, this is the place to visit.

Had a great time. Very informative, staff was so incredibly knowledgeable and willing to go beyond to tell you about the pieces in the museum. Items well taken care of.

It's a nice place to have a gathering but the place is not as cold when it comes to air condition.
