There were lots of cool items on display and the scaled model was really neat! There was a Scavenger Hunt that we did not find out about until the end so make sure you pick that up at the start, especially if you go with kids. The one thing that seemed a little sad is that there only seemed to be one piece of art and a placard devoted to the people who died in the incident. For your entry fee you can watch the movie, 'Between the Glacier and the Sea' as well as enter the Valdez Museum a few blocks away.

This comes with the price of admission to the more elaborate and comprehensive Valdez museum. It’s worth taking advantage of the admission. Just don’t expect to be overly impressed. I’d pressed for time, skip this in favor of the Whitney Museum.
