There is nowhere else in Fairbanks like it. Yes, it's not like Children's Museums in the lower 48, but they are doing the best they can with what they have. With that said they offer different exhibits and activities often. And Exhibits are often switched around. So that's always nice. Also we like getting a book at the end.

The place was a blast to visit, and they had plenty of things for my daughter to do! She didnt wanna leave after it all, only with promises to go back! Great fun stuff for kids, along with some educational things too! Definitely recommend it to anyone with little ones looking for a place to go for fun downtown!

This is a great place to take young kids on a rainy day or during the long winter. The projects and exhibits are constantly changing so even if we go every week, my kids can keep busy. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Very fun for my kids. Lots of toys for All Ages. Great craft room. Family friendly environment. Nursing nook, Cafeteria, snacks for purchase, coffee & water. Chairs for pregnant moms to relax. The Change of displays is awesome, keeps my kids intrested and excited, as they learn and play new games. I really loved the personal touch of Kids stools in the bathrooms for the little ones my children love them!

I don't have any young kids but the Shrine Club I belong too here in Fairbanks has their Easter party there every year and the kids love it. There is so many fun things for them to interact with including some very scientific devices like microscopes that display on a big screen. Great place to take young one's in the winter months.

My kiddos from 1 to 9 all love to go here. It is the perfect size to keep them busy but not feel like you are chasing them all in different directions. Super kind staff and they host regular events as well as classes and summer camps. They also regularly switch out their displays and playstations in themes. They have a sensory room as well as a special time for sensory sensitive play. Memberships are a fantastic deal and they host birthday parties as well.

Another great place to take your kids too. They also have people that come out to talk to moms and dads. I was there a week ago and they had a lady there to talk to the mothers about PPD. It was great for them. I'm glad we went.

We love this place! It’s perfect for a rainy day or for needing to spend some time in town between obligations. We have had a membership for years because the value of having a place like this in the wintertime is so worth it. I enjoy that I can bring my kids to do interesting art projects, all the materials are included, and the space is already set up for it. It has made paint and glue much more enjoyable for this family.

Lots of fun stuff for kids to do. The cleanliness was a little to be desired. There is a climbing wall, a vet center, a microscope, a piano to play on, art center, building center, a toddler section, plus more! Some snacks available and they also have a section for free books.

Absolutely amazing, my kids loved it here. The toys and exhibits were fun and engaging and the snacks/gifts were exceptionally priced. If you've hesitated on taking your kids here don't, it's a really cool experience.

I am a member of the museum, but I am reviewing their Kid's Night In on First Friday. As a parent with no family in town, it is hard to have a date with my husband. My daughter loves the museum, and I love the staff. It is a place I feel comfortable dropping daughter off for a couple of hours to have fun and be safe. They even ordered pizza for the children. The drop off time was 5:30-8pm. This gave us adequate time for a nice dinner out. We will be using this again.

Fun activities even for our 21 month old. The museum was a great value too at $8 a person. Our son played for well over an hour and only us having other things to do kept him from playing more.

Great activities for kids. Very clean. Little gift shop where you can get coffee. There is a room where you and kids can eat food you bring. There is an old piano with notes on the keys and a play book so you can imstantly play a song. Great water activity. Nice rock collection that kids can view rocks up close with an adjusting microscope. Reading area with lots of books. Puppet stage with puppets, so kids can put on a play. All kinds of things to keep the kiddies from getting "cabin nuts" during the winter. Little pricey though. 8$ for adults and 3 for kids i think. There are discounts for folks that use ebt etc. Worth the visit.

Paid the 120 dollar membership, which is not cheap for the amount of things to do there, not that my daughter didn't have good time, had her birthday party there and after all said and done they stuck us for the Adults that just came to bring their kids.... Absolutely ridiculous and they just didn't care.... cost over 300 just for a room rental ,small, and the kids and adults... then tried to come and membership up by couple days but didn't have the money to spend right then and they wouldn't let her in, she had meltdown.. . While it is a good thing to have, it is over priced for what you get, and the teens that work the counter are totally heartless.... don't think we'll be spending anymore money with them, it's about the kids, not turning a big profit.... and I wanted to build a station to donate

Lovely place for kids. So much fun! Kids of all ages can join the fun along with the parents here, there’s all kinds of activities, and toys to play with. There’s a little art section, there’s a more private area for breastfeeding moms and little rooms for kids parties and gatherings. I didn’t give that last star because I wish they would’ve had a cafeteria or something like that. Everything was very clean and tidy despite all the kids that visit the place day after day.

This is an awesome place for kids. They also have a discount for people who have state benefits which is amazing because it allows those individuals to bring their children for a discounted price! This is truly an awesome place my kids loved every minute we spent here. It is filled with different things for kids to enjoy and even things adults can enjoy with their children... this place is amazing and I highly suggest it for anyone heading to Fairbanks with children in the winter months!!

As an out of towner I was disappointed. It's "nice" but I wouldn't say museum. If you want to entertain a kid, it's a fun stop. A bit rough around the edges. Kid enjoyed it.
