You must have seen that it has an average rating is practically the top, and it's based on a very large number of feddbacks, so we may say that the evaluation is very reliable. If people have bothered to evaluate when they are satisfied, is that it works.
You know that we don't usually stop to put tatings when these are correct and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This is classified in the category of History museum.
This is definitely a fabulous museum. Make sure you go early and have a little bit of time. To get on the military base, you'll need to have proper ID and a pass. Once you've got that, the museum is literally around the corner. Mr. Mark was a great guide and he was very kind with the children. He was extremely informative! The museum has so much history and information, it definitely takes at least 2 hours to go through.
It has so many awesome aircrafts.
Well worth a visit. Only had an hour or so, so I didn't get to see nearly enough. Recommend allowing a few hours.
Enjoyed the aviation museum and caught part of a graduation ceremony. Especially enjoyed seeing the helicopters my husband learned to fly while in flight school 30 years ago. Also enjoyed seeing the bricks of those retired pilots.
Great museum with lots of old Army airframes.
Always adding new aircraft...the highlight for me is the Blackhawk that was involved in the actions in Somalia. If you visit checkout the gift shop...lots of cool stuff.
Great experience and very accommodating
I mean... what else are you going to do in Enterprise/Daleville/Ft Rucker?? In all seriousness the Museum has done a grest job in the recent years of making the most with the space they have. They have soo many amazing one of a kind experimental aircraft and pieces that really bring to life the Army Aviation Legacy... if only the Army would properly fund them. The volunteers are always very friendly and always willing to talk or share stories. You can almost always find a veteran of aviation past strolling about. It really is the #1 thing to do in the Wiregrass area.
This place is awesome. There are dozens of cool airplanes from various decades. It was more than I expected.
A must see if you are able to do it. The host/greeter is extremely knowledgeable and friendly.
This museum exudes quality. Displays are informative, constantly updated, and maintained. Do yourself a favor and make time to check it out. Take someone along with you. Stop in the gift shop, too.
it was really cool to see all of them old helicopters and planes
Fantastic place to look at all the helicopters that used to fly for the US Military and all the different manufacturers. Had a great tour entire base.
Lots of interesting stuff. Love to look around. Enjoyed thoroughly!
Incredible display. Allot several hours to see everything.
Awesome museum! The whole family loves it..
Awesome historical account of aviation and the history of Army aircraft.
The staff is always helpful and friendly and there is a wide array of aircraft to enjoy. It would be nice if there was a kid zone or more kid friendly activities for the little ones. Overall, we visit regularly and enjoy ourselves.
Museum is great, older fashioned exhibits. There is a lot of stuff. A person could easily spend 2-3 hours here. There is also a gift shop with a lot of stuff for sale
I was here for a graduation. As a ground guy, it was great to see the history and developments of Army aviation that is presented and explained so well in this museum.
Great place to learn about Army Aviation. The birthplace of the Army Warrant Officer, Ft Rucker.
I love this place. Small but worth the time!
Amazing place for everyone. Celebrate our men and women who have served our great country to give us all our freedom by visiting the museum!
This is the home of Army aviation. The personal that run this place love what they do and why they do it. What you will see here is a timeline leading up to current aviation in the Army.
Great museum, has a lot to offer about aviation. The souvenir shop is great to browse through. The bathrooms are very clean.
Amazing place aeroplanes, jets, drones all types ARMY flying machines
so honored to get to visit such a fine museum
Lots of history from army aviation.
Good greeter. Very informative and noligable. Great musiem.
Some great stuff, even some experimental stuff with great stories....if you take the tour you can go in the big warehouse in the back.....thats where they keep the irreplaceable stuff.
Very nice.
Great, I like it a bit more everytime I walk in.
I've always felt that the home of Army Aviation would be more interested in having a nicer museum. Now, there's nothing wrong with this museum. It's nice but if you were to compare it to any of the other service's museums (Navy at Pensacola, the multiple AF museums, etc), you'll see that the Army is lagging behind. In fact, the other Army museums (such as the artillery museum at Fort Sill, et al) are much nicer. It's worth a visit but it's never felt to me that there has been a whole lot of love or funding given to this museum. It's unfortunate.
It has an array of wonderful history memorabilia and I enjoyed the history..
An eye opening look on U.S. Army aviation history! Its a must see!
An amazing experience that absolutely wowed me! I highly recommend spending quite a few hours there. Was fortunate to be able to watch a Cadette graduation
Great museum with a nice variety of helicopters. Many thanks to the men and women who have made this place a reality. As well as thanks to the brave men and women who have been part of Army aviation!
A great place to visit. I grew up here around Ft Rucker and love seeing the history. I try to bring my kids and grand kids to show them. Love it
I'm not Aviation, rather I'm Army Logistics. This museum is incredible! It's comparable to the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum, except that every piece of equipment in this museum is ARMY AVIATION, which is cool! There are small planes, large planes, small helicopters, large helicopters, and the museum walks you through Aviation advancements from the beginning through modern warfare.
The museum was well maintained and it was easy to get around. Everything was very interesting.
Very inviting, helpful staff. Great way to see the history of Army Navigation.
Lots of information and loads of fun.
No matter how many times you go, there is always something "new" to see that you missed on your last visit.
It's vear educational .aircraft from Wright brothers first military plane to some of the most famous helicopters in military service today. It's free. Please visit.
I enjoyed the museum very much. I've been to several over the years. This one is small but very informative how the army's aviation came about. I've been to there academy and that museum so after seeing both I had a good understanding of the army's aviation came about. Thank you all veterans for your service
Great place to see images of and history of Military service.
Really cool place to learn about the Army's aviation history. Small museum packed with great exhibits. Neat gift shop as well. It is on a active military base, so plan accordingly and check the website for details/updates.
Nice place to visit and see some nice old aircraft.
It was really amazing nice and clean and workers were friendly and helpful. My grandsons loved it.
What a great collection if aviation history.
Great museum for US Army aviation history.
GREAT IT IS SO AMAZING
Was very impressive. Displays were well done with an excellent timeline of when each aircraft was commissioned. The gentleman who greeted us at the information desk by the name of Ed was very cordial. Steve Kunde Rapid City, South Dakota
Loved it first time ever going and went so fast. Next time I'll take my time.
Beautifully done! Worth the trip!
Very nice place to visit. Everybody is very friendly and helpful at the museum. That's worth five stars.
I went here for my brother's retirement ceremony.
Nice place! We were there for graduation so we didn't spend a lot of time actually visiting the museum, but it was a very beautiful place. Neat planes to see and even one you could get in! It's free to visit, so give it a try!
Informative museum for Military! I went back to the 40's entering this beautiful place
Great place. Long drive.
Really nice museum. A few exhibits like a real cockpit that children can sit inside and an aircraft to walk inside. My only recommendation would be for a clear sign at the entrance of the museum pointing which direction in which to start. If you take an immediate right you can actually follow along the history of Aviation, but that wasn't clear so I did it out of order and it wasn't The Experience could have been.
Very well organized. The volunteers were wonderful.
So many cool planes and helicopters. Fun for the whole family
I took our grandchildren to get away from the damage caused by Hurricane Michael. After 9 days with no water, power and cleaning up damage, we needed a break. The kids loved it. We made a day of it. We'll worth the trip.
Really cool (and free!) museum, particularly if you're interested in helicopters.
This place is amazing! My boyfriend had such a great time here. They have the most extensive collection of Army Aviation vehicles. From the original planes that they acquired from the Wright brothers A reproduction to Chinook's Huey's Comanches. They have really detailed dioramas with models in military gear. This is just a fantastically detailed Museum. And it's free! Just beware you do have to get a visitor's pass to enter Fort Rucker. This requires pulling over at the visitor pass entrance for a pass and getting a background check in order to enter the fort.
Great experience. Many displays.
Great presentation of the history of army air. Good info and really nice presentation of the aircraft.
Well done, interesting
I came for my sister's Warrant Officer Candidate graduation. The place looks so cool!
Thanks to my nephew who graduated there it was great.
That Museum is awesome! I hace a great time there. I highly recommend it.
I had the pleasure of attending my husbands wocs graduation here. Overall it was a great experience.
Definitely a great place!! Had 3 teenaged grandchildren, they loved it.
Cool museum. Love the M*A*S*H helicopter.
Great museum for army aircraft history
I love bringing my little boy here. I started bringing him when he was 1 and now he's about to turn 2. He never gets tired of it. It is such an enjoyable atmosphere and everyone is so incredibly nice. We will be sad to leave. I recommend going on Mondays and Tuesdays if you have littles who just want to walk/run around and enjoy.
Helicopters rule and everyone should want to fly one.
Perfect evening at the military ball. Food and service were great. Thank God for our service members who protect our freedom.
Great place to come to learn about not only about Army aviation history but military history in general. Well worth the trip
Super place. Well worth a stop.
Nice piece of history
Great place to visit. I didn't stay long, but I'll be going back to take my son to see everything there.
It was a wonderful experience and I learned a lot about Aviation and they have beautiful displays
Very interesting & the kids loved getting into the cockpits.
Great place. Has a few one of a kind helicopter
An amazing museum! Shows the progression of Army aviation from the very beginning!
Great exhibits. Awesome history.
Good story of the history of army aviation. The people were very friendly; just be prepared to go through a background check at the gate.
Thank you all for your service
Most see for anyone who loves military history
Great place to go see Aviation history. Make sure you have time to see everyrhing.
Amazing display of weapons!
Awesome Experience
Great place to visit and enjoy Army Aviation history.
Wonderful collection of mostly rotary wing aircraft. I've been there several times and they've made a lot of improvements since my last visit. I do wish they'd improve the signage though.
Come in and be amazed! Nice gift shop tpoo.
I try and visit a museum every city I happen to visit and this one did not disappoint. It's always nice being able to see all the men, women, and machines that helped shaped our country. If you're ever in town, take a bit of time out of your day to come see history.
Outstanding museum!
This military museum is by far the best one I've have been to by far. The exhibits were awesome and I learned so much about the history of Army Aviation. The curator was very informative and knowledgeable. Very clean and friendly atmosphere. Great experience and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Most definitely will return for another visit.
Great museum with a great gift shop too. Just wish they could have secured an Apache to make the museum complete. Would come again!
I attended my nephew's graduation from flight school and was impressed with the museum.
Fort Rucker was amazing. My husband did his basic back in 1963! He didn’t recognize a thing, which shocked him. The museum was clean and very well maintained. The gift shop was neat and the restrooms were Immaculate. I sat and watched a video which I really enjoyed. This museum begins with the history of the wright brothers and how the planes were developed into war machines. It had the helicopters too. A lot of history was in this building. It made me sad and happy. We drove throughout the camp and looked into the PX too. Thank you to all the brave men and women who served and still serve today.
This is a wonderful museum. It reminded me of the Smithsonian Air & Space museum in some ways. It is well worth visiting.
Lots of new exhibits and helicopter history. If you haven't been for a while you need to go again.
Awesome place with history galore.
Great historical rebuilds and site!!!
Great place to see the evolution of Army Aviation from the beginnings in the Korean conflict until present day. Free admission, Family oriented and several actual aircraft you can walk inside. Beautiful place that was built on what was a parking lot when I arrived for flight school on 1984.
This was an awesome museum visit. Interactive displays, a movie, everything to make it fun and informative.
Fantastic museum! Clean and well managed. Captures the best in rotary aviation history. Must see!
If you are a fan of helicopters or Army aviation, you need to visit here.
Very informational and an awesomely humbling experience.
This museum is pretty cool. I recommend to visit this place with family/friends from out of town or state.
A really cool place to visit.
Closed on Sundays and federal holidays, recommend you visit this awesome museum.
Great to see the history of Army Aviation!
This place has so much history!
Great place for Military, Veterans and their families to learn about the US Army's Aviation and safety programs.
I enjoyed very much it was beautiful ty for sharing
Great collection of flying apparatus!! Well presented and preserved.
Very informative museum best part it is free to enter. (Donations are accepted) They have a small gift shop to buy souvenirs from and a elevator for disabled people to see the top floor. Lots of exhibits and it is self guided but they have an information desk if you have any questions.
IT is AWESOME!!!! All the aircraft and all of the history is just out of this world. We enjoyed our visit so very much. I could come here all of the time if I lived here.
This museum is wonderful! The exhibits are great and the volunteer tour guide gave me a mini tour of the facility. Highly recommend
Truly amazing how much information and aircraft they can fit into this building, with more on the outside. They have really done a great job with this museum. It shows off the beauty and importance of the aviation division. Spent over an hour here and will definitely return if I ever get the chance to be back at Fort Rucker. There is also a small gift shop inside.
Amazing venue. Great helicopter displays, helpful and informative volunteers. Will definitely visit again.
The museum features all kinds of different aircrafts, military records, uniforms, books, and more. There are plenty of different things to look at and read. Unfortunately, there were no guides or employees along the way that could provide additional insight into each gallery, but I would recommend a visit here if given the opportunity. Plenty of space for exploring.
Always love going there!
Wonderful history great set up. Great event accommodations we perfect
Awesome display of aviation throughout the decades of advancement of flying.
Amazing historical planes and copters. Impeccably maintained
Went for my daughters graduation, was extremely nice, loved it! So much to see and become educated on.
Great museum of aviation history with so many aircraft inside!
Always a good free visit for the kids. Adding the Berlin wall exhibit was a surprise. A bit more pix would have been great.
Very informative and we really enjoyed looking at all the different helicopters and learning how they were used in the military.
Lots of History here. Learned a lot about Aviation. Enjoyed our time. Very clean.
Been here three times now and always discover something new. Great display of aircraft.
Very awesome, best attraction in Pensacola hands down.. You couldn't be disappointed. Also hard to see everything in one day, it's in like 3 huge buildings. They have planes the kids can climb in and push buttons and a playground. Even if you're not interested in aviation it's impressive. If I were vacationing and was 2 hours away I would make the drive. Well worth it, especially with kids.
The museum is a must visit for anyone in the area because it gives you so much history on Army Aviation and the local Ft. Rucker aviation contribution. Plus it is a great place to pick up gifts. :-)
Very well done, exhibits in excellent condition. Very friendly staff. Self paced. Open on 4th of July memorial day and veterans day as well.
It has a small part of our history. The place is awesome ‼️
Excellent place to interactively explore aviation history hands-on. Had one of only 2 RAH-66 Comanches in existence on display (they supposedly had another one but I couldn't find it). Super cool exhibition of military history. Some aircraft you can climb into as well as pilot some of the training vehicles actual army servicemen use(d). Well worth the hassle to get on base.
Amazing experience. Worth the visitor's pass you have to get if not military!
Very good, will visit again when in this Area
Very very interesting
It was very historical, although I didn't see too many mentions about the Tuskegee airmen. One of which who worked as a flight instructor for 20 years.
A pleasant museum with engaging employees.
Fantastic variety of helicopters and fixed wing. The price is right... FREE Admission.
Very cool! Historic obviously and everyone enjoyed it.
Great history of Army Aviation. Has some new exhibits as well
Absolutely great museum. The aircraft on exhibit are fascinating. Wish I had more time to spend there. (Been there twice actually and could still spend more time there.)
Older plans to look at. Nice place to visit if you're in aviation.
Always nice coming in here. Very educational, and also inspirational. I enjoy walking through during breaks in the day, even for a moment.
Great aviation history. Great display of legacy helicopters. Nice theater that has about 25 min of historical documentary footage. Helpful staff.
Wonderful facility and informative staff. Movie was informational and educational.
Wish I had more time to spend reading all the history!
Awesome museum and great staff. Good place to learn something while beating the heat.
Excellent place to view the Army Aviation history. Could use a snack/refreshment place. Maybe some volunteers that flew or worked on them to answer questions. I didn't notice if there was one, but a recorded tour?
I have definitely been to better aviation museums, and not only is it a pain to get onto the base, but it becomes a bigger pain trying to find it if you don't come from the right fort entrance, due to a lack of signage. Unless you live very close and very love copters, a recommendation to avoid.
