This museum has old exhibits and is in dire need of updating. It isn't funded well, therefore it shows in what this museum has to offer. I wouldn't recommend coming here unless you're an alabama student or can get a significant discount. Otherwise, it isn't worth it.

Prety fascinating. I learned that lots of famous artists originally came from Alabama. A little weird that their (very cool) exhibit featuring Black artists is in a sort of tucked-away section. What's up with that, Alabama Hall of Fame?

In depth history of all Alabama music venues, with emphasis on the hit recordings in historical Muscle Shoals area. George Lair Tour does a masterful job explaining personal details of all artist and technicians over the last several decades.

Suzanne Stephens

We enjoyed learning about the folks that made music in Alabama...self tour, so you can take your time.

Laura Clingman

Just a fabulous place! It's not real big, but they sure do have a lot of neat stuff packed in there! Wait until you see the car! Loved the whole thing, highly recommended! :-)

Mary Catherine Rohling

It was so much fun. The tour guide was so helpful and made it really interesting

Kimberly Kennedy

It's OKAY but they hold you HOSTAGE to watch some STUPID 7 min film at the beginning and they MAKE you WAIT for a "large enough" group to show it!! Be AWARE that THIS is the M U S I C Hall of Fame and NOT the ARTIST Hall of Fame!!

Gene Pline

The people of Alabama should be proud of their musical herimage. This building houses most of them. From WC Handy, Hank Williams, Tommy Shaw, they are here.
