I referred Marvin and his company to some friends/clients of mine after speaking with him over the phone. The move was an “in town move locally in Jackson”. Marvin reassured me that an in town move over the dates I provided would be absolutely no problem and that his schedule was open. Fast forward to the date of the move: -Marvin was out of town on another move. -Marvin hired a few guys from the temp service rather than the 6 man crew he promised. -Marvin rented a van from a local storage company because he was using his on another move. -Day one, one of the temp guys was fired. -The temp hired help had no idea how to load boxes. -Day one, the remaining couple temp guys (all of which were on their first day working) couldn’t figure out how to get furniture through a front door. -The movers all got sick and couldn’t work. -We had our employees jump in to finish the move. -Marvin was no where to be found. -Marvin is chargingfull price. I’m leaving out so many details regarding how terrible this experience turned out. Don’t walk away from this company. RUN!

Mountain Movers treated us SO well. We had an unusual move that required some flexibility and care. We absolutely received that from them. Marvin and his great team made a difficult transition much better for us.

We used them twice before this year. I was happy with there service but this year they increased there prize by 75%. They also lost one of my oriental rugs. I do not recommend this outfit!
