I just had a horrific experience with M & R Movers, please beware of using this company. The move started out poorly when they showed up with only 2 movers instead of 3 as promised, plus the owner’s 7 year old son. When I noticed a large indentation in one of the doors where they were moving furniture in the house that wasn’t there previously, the owner got extremely defensive and threatened to leave. When I asked him to pay for the damages, he stopped the move and left. It is also important to note the one of the movers from this company also scratched the floor, which I did see happen. I am completely dissatisfied and now have to incur additional costs to find replacement movers on short notice, as well as fix the damage. I would give M & R Movers zero stars if I could!!!!

These guys are stellar! Ryan is prompt with communication and very easy to work with. I hired M&R to move a piano from my father's house to my new house. Originally I wanted to do it in the spring, then had to get a bunch of other projects done before we could move the piano in. By the time I was ready to do it, it was October... but Ryan squeezed me in no problem and honored the original (and very reasonable) quote he gave me. Our yard was NOT easy to navigate for the move but Ryan and his other helper found a creative way to do it! No damage to the piano or the yard or our floors! I am extremely impressed and happy. I will hire them again whenever I need anything in the future!

I have used M&R Movers two times. Both times, the employees were extremely friendly, knowledgeable about how to move things without any items, walls, floors, doors, etc. being damaged, and courteous. They handled my items with extreme care and made sure to wrap items in moving blankets to ensure protection. Ryan and his staff have always been super professional and helpful. I highly recommend M&R Movers to everyone I know that has to move.

Excellent service! These guys were the best, they made a 86 year old nervous woman very comfortable. They listened to her and took care of her possessions with a smile and when we got to her destination, wow , she was moved in lickety split! I highly recommend M&R Movers.

I should have written this three weeks ago when this actually moved us. So, if you want reliable people, who are honest, sincere and REAL call these guys. They did a great job, the were polite, respectful and coat effective. I could not have found a better company to relocate our family to our new home. Trust me, you will not regret calling them. Worked hard in very warm conditions. Never a complaint, always enthusiastic, took apart furniture that couldn't physically be moved through the house, put it back t together again. Couldn't be happier with their services. Will always recommend them.

My business has used M&R Movers once a year, since 2016. Each year, during the WI Quilt Expo, I need to move merchandise from my store to the Alliant Energy Center and back again 3 days later. Prior to 2016 this move was done by myself, my staff and a few lucky volunteers, but finally I decided to look for outside help. After looking at several different moving companies, M&R Movers was selected, and we have been very happy with the choice. It’s always nice when there are no problems during a move, but sometimes it’s the problems you encounter that gives you an insight into the true nature of the business and its owner. During our very first move with M&R Mover’s, we did have a small issue. Ryan however handled the problem immediately and very professionally which is why we continue to use M&R Movers and will use them again in 2019. We have also recommended them to our customers.

I used M&R Movers to move my mom from her third floor apartment into an Assisted Living facility. Ryan and his partner did an excellent job for us, professionally wrapping all of the furniture and carefully packing their truck to insure everything arrived safely. They were both extremely pleasant and considerate, which meant a lot to my elderly mother. Their prices were also the best around, far lower than other options I checked out before the move. I definitely recommend M&R Movers for any of your needs. I only wish they lived/worked closer to my hometown so I could use them again!
