Everyone did a great job! The coordinator, the packers, the movers,& the estimator were all there to do a great job. Moving is the worst, but their team is very customer focused.

They have the worse customer service. I had an appointment set up and no one showed up. I called mayflower first and then they sent me over to the local office. The lady who i talked to was totally rude to me and was trying to blame me for it. Then I asked to speak with a manager and she told me that she was the owner. I asked how can I get someone out here to do an estimate. She told me that I have to call mayflower. So my business is going somewhere else.

I had the same awful experience as a previous reviewer. Mayflower set up a date for an in home estimate, then this local office never called to confirm. When I spoke to the local representative with the initials L.P., she was downright rude to me. She said she’d never gotten any sort of request for an in home estimate from Mayflower, yet she somehow already knew my move dates and that they could not accommodate my move dates. This is a shady company with horribly rude customer service representatives. I’ve worked with Mayflower before in Atlanta and they were wonderful, so I’m shocked that Mayflower would allow such an awful company to sully their brand.

We used Armstrong for a local move in Madison, WI. Ultimately, the estimate proved to be low as we did a significant part of the packing and moving ourselves after receiving the quote. The time sheets were padded, mandatory travel time was not disclosed during the estimating process, and the business office tried to retrofit our bill so that we wouldn't receive money that should have been refunded. Ultimately we got some of it back. That said, the packers were excellent and most of the movers were good. Bottom line: Buyer beware. You can do better.

Maybe in town, never-ever cross country!!! My spouse and I moved from Madison across country using their pods. When the pods got here and were being opened we could see box after box marked FRAGILE on the BOTTOM of stacks of other heavy boxes, COMPLETELY crushed!!! Lots of Breakage!!!! IDIOTs work for this company with absolutely NO supervision. It was clear the movers packed the truck with fragile on top and whoever did the transfer to pods just took the top and put it on the bottom!!!! Not professional movers- get a different mover cuz this was plain unbelievable, the amount of crushed items AMAZING. How DUMB can you be? Armstrong knows- pretty bad and pretty dumb!!! UPDATE: it’s been two weeks since we turned our claim forms in for all the breakage, and we have heard NOTHING from this mover. UPDATE: it’s been nearly TWO months since we turned in our claim form. The President below will not take my calls. They said their centralized “claim team” would call me last week. No call. This is beyond BAD. I wouldn’t use them to move a chair across the living room.

I moved across the country from Madison, WI and Union Transfer & Storage made the process incredibly easy. The estimator (Eric Ihland) really took his time and was much more thorough than several other companies I received quotes from. The price quoted was fair and binding. On day of pick up, there was a bit of a delay due to no parking available for the truck (not their fault, my place was in a horrible location on two busy streets and another mover was present), but the movers made every effort to speed up the process. They were very conscientious of the apartment and put down floor protectors, door protectors, etc. They were very careful with my property and it was clear they took good care of things. My move coordinator (Lisa) was in constant communication about delivery which was much appreciated. The receiving company was fair, but certainly did not have the standards of Union Transfer & Storage. The level of service of this moving company was excellent and I would definitely recommend them to anyone moving in Madison.

Promises, promises of exceptional care of my furniture. Never happened. Damaged bookcases. Refused to pay for repair...not replacement. Other minor damages. Pickup labor that is untrained. Never again. Recommend finding another more competent mover. Head driver blames his incompetence on the customer. Unbelievable! Never Mayflower or any of the UniGroup moving companies.
