My parents brought a very heavy piano up from Georgia in a trailer. Other moving companies wanted to charge an arm and leg just to get it from my driveway into my house, but Justin and his team gave me a great deal. I rented an upright piano dolly from A to Z rentals (also a great experience), and together we got this ridiculously heavy piece of furniture into my house without any damage or hassle. This was my second time working with Justin, and at this point I couldn't imagine working with any other movers in the future.

Heather was super great to work and coordinate with to set up the moving appointment. The guys showed up right on time and got to work. They staged the items in the truck to make it easier to arrange in the new apartment. They took great care to handle everything so as not to damage the items, the house, or the new apartment. I had wrapped up all the furniture with moving blankets and pallet wrap prior to their arrival, but they did bring all the moving materials with them just in case. The two guys moving everything were really nice and hard working. No issues whatsoever with the move. Would definitely use them again in the future and would recommend them to anyone looking to move in the Madison area.

Heather provided excellent, responsive customer service while scheduling, shared tips, answered questions and accommodated our needs. Moving day...Justin and Lewis were on time, called ahead as promised, loaded our truck with great skill and ease while providing great customer service and encouragement while we assisted with boxes. Justin and his team were awesome! Our move date moved up a month, and they were able to accommodate within the week. We had alot of stuff, including some very heavy items, and they handled it all great, and managed to keep things positive and light-hearted during the entire process, eliminating any feelings of stress - quite the feat with a very long 12 hour day to complete it all! Reasonably priced (way better than the national chains!), and even came in under budget! I would highly recommend A Way Home Moving!

I can't say enough wonderful things about Justin and his staff. I live in downtown Madison, and August is a very busy moving time. I had to change my moving date, time, and location due to restrictions by property companies, and Justin was more than understanding and easily able to accommodate me. He always responded very promptly via email and returned my calls very quickly. On the day of the move, he called ahead of time to be sure I was ready and arrived exactly on time. All of my furniture was well wrapped and they were happy to accommodate certain requests. I have moved seven times in the last eight years, and this was by far the best experience I have had. I cannot thank them enough!

Wow! Awesome experience. We hired A Way Home Moving to help us reinstall and rearrange furnishings after a home renovation. Three men arrived, worked efficiently, and were extremely pleasant. We have had some terrible experiences with other moving companies that gave an estimate based on items to be moved, stairs involved, square footage, etc. After suffering through a day of "I didn't realize this was going" or "that wasn't listed in the quote", the cost was always well above the estimate. Not so with this company! They were willing to work for an hourly rate, which included all of the "gear" (dollies, wrap, pads). It was so easy- I called the office, told them what I needed, and it happened at the cost I anticipated. Sounds like a simple concept, but if you have ever used movers you probably know that this is frequently not the case. It was terrific to find a moving company with excellent customer service and performance. The fact that they are family owned was a bonus. I hope we don't move again any time soon, but if we do I will call A Way Home.
