If you want an unprofessional bunch who doesn't return calls, they're for you. I was initially quite impressed, but upon the time I told the sales guy I was ready to give a deposit, he was on the way to a meeting and would call me back. I waited and waited and then called, no response, called again, no response. Called the main office, reached reception...my move dates were full and couldn't be booked and my sales guy went on vacation. So, in response to his screw up at telling me my dates were available and only needed to be secured with a deposit. He disappeared. Then I wrote the main # and told of my experience. Crickets...no response. They just don't care. If I could have 0 stars I would.

I would recommend Mover Dudes to anyone for any size move. Dwayne and the crew; Roland, Brooks and Damien were a pleasure to work with on our family's move within Winchester. Between the massive down pouring rain and the follow up to finish up on a Sunday for no extra charge, we could not have been happier with our experience. When a couple of minor, trivial issues arrived (as they always do in any move) Roland was quick to offer and provide a great solution and fix. I used Mover Dudes because of recommendations from friends and the way Jeff handled the estimate and scheduling. I was looking to get a quote, when I did that I was bombarded with emails and text even phone calls from different companies this was by far the most unprofessional company I dealt with. I was called and text, I simply sent a message please do not text me and Kelly the sales manager sent a text, well then don’t fill out a lead if your not interested it’s a waste of my money and time too.. I wanted a quote which was advertised to be given immediately not to be bombarded with calls, emails and text messages. I will be moving soon but won’t be using this service and by the looks of their reviews that’s a good thing.

I couldn’t be more pleased with the Mover Dudes, Matt, Junior, and the two other young men - I think they were Randy and Mitchell but don’t quite remember their names. Anyway, their teamwork was wonderful to experience. They are definitely all people- persons. They were friendly, funny, polite and so helpful. Matt did a fine job of supervising the packing. I have recommended Mover Dudes to several people, including the two realtors involved in my sale. All the timing has been just perfect . Please note that I DID review the wrong company and am very sorry. The review I posted with one star was for a company based in Ft. Lauderdale called Moving Dudes. I do not have any experience with this company and changed my one star review to 5 because I couldn't delete it. I didn't want my review to negatively affect the rating. Thank you for contacting me to discuss. Much more than I received from the other company. The guys who did the actual work were very nice and helpful. The company itself was awful. At the time we booked them we were given a four day window of when our items would be picked up. We frantically packed and wrapped everything. The move of two TVs were included and sizes for boxes were also discussed. They delayed pickup a day so we delayed starting a new job and left our new place empty for two days. They delayed the pickup again and we had to find someone to be available since we needed to leave. Took them over a week to actually pick everything up, they claimed we only authorized one TV but wouldn't take any since they were still mounted on the wall, and they "upcharged" us without any explanation. They also put the charge through twice on our credit card. I would never use them again. The only part of the experience that was nice would be dealing with the actual movers.

I called Mo a couple of weeks ago, and told him what I needed for my move. He was all over it, and gave me a quote that was perfect for me - in no time. Everything went exactly like Mo had promised. The dispatcher called a few days before the move, the driver called about 30 mins from my home. Chris & Terry did a fantastic job in loading, moving, & unloading everything for me. I have surgically repaired knees, and could not do anything - Mover Dudes did it all. Not one pc of furniture was harmed or missing & everything was put exactly where I needed it @ my new location. If you want "trouble-free" moving, Mover Dudes is the answer for you, as well. I will certainly use them in the future! Mover Dudes ROCKS!!!

zero!!! The worst company I have dealt with in the whole world! AVOID this company at all costs. We were quoted a price over the phone. I arranged everything one month in advance. They finally didn't come to pick up my goods with so many excuses. They sent a check as a refund. It was fake! Their account had already been closed! Keep away from them. They change their names regularly and you cannot talk to the guys that you've started the deal with!I talked to someone with the name of Louie. Never responded to my emails!

I moved over 20 times including several interstate and international moves, and have used several residential moving companies. For this move under 150 miles, I decided to use Mover Dudes to move and completely pack our home based on many favorable online reviews, but now I am unsure if these reviews were even real based on my extremely bad experience. I signed a “guaranteed and binding estimate” based on an in-home inspection that included Mover Dudes taking pictures of every room in our house. I included several additional items in the estimate that were included in these photos. These items were left in the house and moved to another location by Wheaten Van lines, totaling over 3500 lbs. The packers were largely professional and did a very good job packing items. Unfortunately some movers were not experienced when moving quality wood furniture and there was no oversight by the crew leader. We paid the entire amount of our initial “guaranteed and binding estimate” within 3 days of the move. We had also tipped the packers and movers over $2000 for this move. Mover Dudes claims that they do not base their estimate on weight; rather their service is based on inventory. After completion of the move, we were overbilled 3 days later for an additional $3,500 above the guaranteed estimate. Dishonestly, many items moved by Wheaton were included on the final inventory sheet for Mover Dudes; they also added and duplicated other items, as just a few examples, there were over 100 additional boxes, an additional 55-inch television was added, and 5 additional dining chairs. After being confronted by the Better Business Bureau (BBB), their manager, Gregory R. Brown, had no answers for this extra inventory and could provide no proof it was accurate. Mover Dudes does not use a standardized numbered inventory method employed by legitimate moving companies. Mr. Brown’s responses to the BBB were pathetic and untruthful. In addition, Mr. Brown fraudulently claimed our moving weight exceeded the original estimate by 4000 lbs. Mover Dudes provided no weight estimate in signed paperwork for our contract, and Mover Dudes never supplied us with any official weights as required for interstate moves to support Mr. Brown’s false claims after the move. Mover Dudes did over $5000 in damage and refused to honor the insurance we purchased under our “guaranteed and binding estimate” that I paid in full. They never even responded to my last rebuttal with the BBB, and never called or contacted me directly during this entire process. This company is dishonest and unprofessional-- they do not deserve anyone's business.

I always look at reviews before doing anything. Mover dudes had some great reviews on here and on Yelp so I gave them a try. There were a few small issues: no phone call 48 hours before to get the arrival timeframe, no call right before arrival, they didn't have any tools (though I was paying them to take apart our beds), they didn't bring their own drinks (a request for one right after they arrived). They are things I can overlook. But some bigger things were really a problem: The whole move took 11 hours and our house was only 1500 square feet and we were only moving 30 miles away. They said they were supposed to have a third person but he didn't show, which accounts for the length. Also, they forgot to bring the pegs for our bed to our new house so they couldn't put the bed together and we had to sleep on a mattress on the floor. There were multiple items that they took apart to move but didn't put back together. They left multiple moving blankets and bands behind. I have a nine month old, and the length of this move was unexpected and very difficult. Their price was good though, so we are just cutting our losses. I do not recommend.

My experience was good. I only had a few things: two bedroom suits, grandfather clock, wine cabinet, and a few other misc pieces of furniture, and I was only moving these items a short distance away, but the two guys that moved me were clean-cut, good-natured, and careful with everything. I may be sharing more another time. Wanting to make sure people know, this company is NOT the unscrupulous moving company in Deerfield Beach, Florida!!!!!!!!! Mover Dudes (Not MOVING DUDES in FLORIDA that pass themselves off as the genuine Mover Dudes in Virginia)is a wonderful, professional group to work with. Mover Dudes (Virginia) moved me to Colorado in April 2018. They were wonderful......pleasant and professional, showing up when they said they would, doing a thorough inventory of all my things, thoroughly wrapping and preparing ALL of my furniture, and loading up my things (2 bedroom apartment and 2-room counseling office) in just over 3 hours!!! My things arrived in Colorado 9 days later after I arrived, a day earlier than they had said, and there was NO VISIBLE DAMAGE to any of my things. After unpacking all of my things in the next two weeks, I only found 1 broken glass!! No other damage....amazing. I packed my boxes well, insulating my things well with bubble wrap, making sure the boxes were filled to the top and triple taped very well, as Mover Dudes told me to do. And the movers moved my things in a careful, protected way. They stayed in touch with me throughout my move, and my phone calls were answered directly or were returned within the hour. Would recommend this company anytime to anyone. Mover Dudes operate with and in integrity. I thought I had contacted Mover Dudes to move me back to Virginia in March. I googled their number and was dealing with the people I had contacted until May when I realized I was not dealing with the Mover Dudes I trusted. It was MOVING DUDES FROM DEERFIELD BEACH, FLORIDA, who allowed me to believe I was dealing with Mover Dudes!!!!!!!!!!! At that point I was under contract and could not afford to get another mover. I only found out the day before the move when I called Mover Dudes,( I got the real ones this time when I googled their number!!!) when Greg Brown from the real Mover Dudes, called me back, on Memorial Day, to tell me that I had the wrong company when I had left a message with my complaints, telling me I had called Mover Dudes in Fairfax, Virginia!!!Greg said to contact him if I needed any help getting my things back)If only I'd had the money to call the real Mover Dudes to rescue my things

Exceptional service! I was very worried about how I would move my family heirlooms from my mother’s house to mine until Mover Dudes came to my rescue! Angela, helped me with a quote over the phone. I felt as though I was talking to a friend. She even gave me her personal cell number! On moving day, Chris and Rumel, reassured my mom as they loaded and protected her furniture on the truck. She was so please that she excitedly called me when they left to tell me how impressed she was and that they were on their way to my house. Chris and Rumel were friendly and professional. They were very careful moving furniture around obstacles such as my large fish tank! Not one scratch or tear! They were courteous and even asked what else they could do for us after the we’re done. Everything was done professionally with the most friendly service. Randall, Dale and Scrappy handled all of my belongings like they were their own, and no request was unreasonable to them. Most of my furniture was damaged and most of the things they packed for me were broken or ruined. My dining room table was broken in transit because they did not take it apart to store in the truck.

I was, honestly, a little hesitant at first because I wasn't the biggest fan of the name (silly, I know), but I am glad that I got over it. It was time for another cross country move and this time I wanted to hire the pros instead of doing it myself. I'm the biggest skeptic, especially hearing about my bro-in-law getting outrageously misquoted by another company. I did weeks and weeks and weeks of my due diligence, received quotes, and talked to many different moving companies. At the end of the day, I seemed to feel most comfortable and confident with Mover Dudes. And they definitely had the most fair price (not the best price, but most fair) Don't get me wrong, I was nervous the entire time, and fully anticipated getting screwed over like most stories you hear about, but it had to get done either way. 4 member family, lots of furniture. I did a quote over the phone at first. Reasonable price. A couple weeks later I requested an in person estimate. Same price. Radio silence for 1-2 months prior to move had me a little worried, but the week of, everything was confirmed as planned. Movers arrived as planned. Things could not have gone more smoothly. On the back end, quick arrival, smooth unload. And the price was only $6 off from the estimate. Couldn't be happier. Tips? We ensured everything was packed and ready to roll. We were accurate in our furniture estimates. Confirmed move details multiple times. Maybe we just got lucky...? I would certainly rather take another chance on Mover Dudes than another company. Highly recommended, and very thankful for a reliable company during a very stressful life event.

Apparently, this company recently merged with Venture Bros. and changed their business plan. They now charge per item moved. I was asked for a verbal inventory when I booked the move; it was not made clear that if an item was not on the inventory, the gentlemen who were doing the labor would have to call the office to get a price PER ITEM in order to put it on the truck. My assumption was that I was paying them $1350 to move all my family's belongings. That assumption was incorrect. It was $1350 to move MOST of my family's belongings. This resulted in a $75 Penske rental the next day, and several other trips back and forth with our personal vehicles. In addition to all that, this "inventory" system created confusion for the workers. Small things that were not on the inventory list got moved, and big things on the list did not. I don't blame the workers, there was a lot of stuff to move. I blame the managers for coming up with an unbelievably idiotic system. The workers were absolutely exceptional, and did a fine job moving what they did. They were courteous, respectful, and extremely hard workers. They deserve raises. The managers probably won't do that, however, since those ding dongs were the ones that came up with that business plan. Two thumbs down. Waaaaaay down. I highly recommend seeking other movers.

I cannot say enough positive things about Mover Dudes. They went above and beyond to communicate with me prior to the move, they were precisely on time the morning of the move, they were courteous, and extremely careful with my belongings. Everything arrived after the 5 hour trip just as promised, and they neatly stacked everything in my storage area...and then turned around and drove 5 hours back to VA. They made a stressful situation as easy as it could be for me, and I would recommend them to anyone. A++++

This whole experience with this company was such a mess. They were over booked so they made us do our move with another company called G&M Moving and Storage. They didn't inform us that this was happening until the day before the move. GM Moving and Storage is a horrible moving company and we had to do all of the move with them and we had no choice. They broke a lot of our furniture and over charged us by a lot. DON'T CHOOSE THIS MOVER, TRUST ME!

Not really knowing what to expect since we hadn’t used them before I can say it was an excellent decision. Steve was very professional and made our move very easy. This company is a joke ! They showed up to my house with ciggarettes in their mouths when they walked up to my front door. Nobody was in uniform and I felt somewhat threatened. Like a bunch of things were roaming through my house . When they started working after explaining to me they charge by the piece they showed no care for my belongings to all. Everything was broken and my price tripled at the end of the day. Save yourself the trouble and book a real moving company . They didn't even have the decency to return my calls or emails about damages after selling me a fraudulent insurance plan . This place ruined my life financially, emotionally , and even physically with my belongings .

*RUN AWAY* from using Mover Dudes (yes, the one based on Florida). I have never met a less professional service company in my life. Not only did Mover Dudes first call to say they would not make the THREE day pickup window for loading my belongings but then proceeded to entirely cancel the more less than 24-hours before their original pickup date. No compensation was offered nor given, they did not even have any other companies to recommend upon their cancellation and refused to help—just simply dropped a bomb and shrugged their shoulders. After talking to other moving companies while fixing their mistake I was told this is not the first time they have heard about Mover Dudes dropping the ball and that they do not have a good reputation within this industry. This came from multiple sources. STAY FAR AWAY from this company.

Do not do business with them! They get your business and the pickup guys will try to charge you 2/3 or 50% more! Insisting it’s much more than agreed (in weight or square feet). I cancelled immediately. Preferred to loose the deposit than allowing them to charge just about $2,000 extra!
