I had Accedia come out on a Thursday to load up my stuff for a move to South Carolina where I was going to buy a house... on Thursday the guys worked great... by the end of the day they had finished almost moving my whole Garage so I decided to have them come back on Friday ... as the men had done a fabulous job on Thursday ... but Friday was a completely different story.... they worked n my garage until about noon while I had to go to Parkersburg for a meeting ... when I got back they were to start n the house... they were told to take certain items and I drove to Ellenboro to get something to eat while I was away I got a phone call from one of the moving men that thought he was the boss and demanded payment that me and the owner had NEVER DISCUSED before and I called the owner and complained... after about two or three weeks the owner started calling and demanding payment... I assured him he would b paid but he still continued to call... I finally was able to have more items put into storage and at that time paid off the balance for three truck loads going into storage at a price on $12,000 +... after I get moved to South Carolina I'm afraid of how much total bill will be? Also on the second day of moving... they boxed up magazines and crap they were told not to bother. I recant my review. The total price of the move now is $34,400.00.

BEWARE!!! They are not cheap and do a poor job. The workers shown on Accedia website are not the same men that loaded our furniture and boxes on the semi-trailer. They were very slow and not in great shape for movers. They took many smoke breaks and even left after about an hour's work which was probably for breakfast. They milked the job so that about 4 to 5 hours took 8. They charged $99 an hour so I thought they would have loaded our furniture properly but just about every piece of wooden furniture was scratched and dented. Accedia said it was our fault because we didn't let them do driving and unloading in Florida. Friends had used Accedia recently and had more problems.

The prices were fair and the move went along without any issues whatsoever. The owner and his men were the nicest people you'd meet. Accedia gets a five star from this guy for sure. Horrible. Do NOT use them. I would gice 0 stars if i could. They took a lot longer moving because they took smoke breaks every 15 minutes. I paid for 3 guys to move us and only 2 were actually packing and moving any boxes. And the worst part is they STOLE jewelry from me. Even after being told to not go near that part of my closet. When I contacted the company he basically told me I had no proof and there wasnt anything he would do. He is ok with having theifs working for him. The owner is an idiot. Don't save money just to go with them! Edit: I was a client. The job was under my mother in laws name. I would have no reason to leave a review for a service I had never used.

What a pleasant experience. My initial call was answered by the owner himself. Chris the business owner walked me through all of my questions, and did not pressure me like so many other companies I called. My move consisted of a small farm that ended up requiring 2 trucks to South Carolina for my retirement. I did the vast majority of packing while having Accedia do a small partial pack. The staff that moved me were top notch and made the process pleasant. I called 3 companies and Accedia was not the cheapest but I felt I was treated the best and educated by the owner Chris. Other companies left so many unknowns in their pricing where Chris was transparent in his business practices. This was not just a move for me but a life transition. I chose Accedia's "White Glove" service that catered to all of my needs. I spent a little over $22,000.00 although there were a few cheaper options I felt for what I received from the first phone call until the last truck door closed and I shook my movers hands goodbye that every cent was money well spent. Thank you Accedia Moving Services and my deepest gratitude to Mr. Chris Daniels for making my move/life transition more than I could have ever expected.

Updating after I went into my old house and realized these guys ruined the walls in my old home. Drywall is ruined. When i called to talk to the owner he told me he shouldn't had worked with us at all. Another employee threatened me on fb with court. I've reported to everyone possible and am taking further action. I tried working It out with the owner but he did not want to, had no understanding at all as to why i was upset. Several other bad reviews on fb and a few on here. Very friendly crew though, but careless. They made sure to take care of our items, and to not scratch the floors of our new home. But they did leave several items at our old home. Took apart our bed and left main pc. We asked ahead that furniture be re assembled when delivered to new home due to home owner being disabled wounded amputee war veteran who just got home. Mirrors were not reassembled, neither was master bed (which they did call to tell me how to put it back together but still unable to use due to them leaving the main board behind at old house). We had to pay out an extra few hundred to another company to go get our items they left which was several items. When we paid so much for moving services we expected to have all our items moved and re assembled. I even let them know they left stuff behind and They wanted to charge more to go back instead of fitting in their truck the first time when there was room. We did provide them with water all day, and pizza for dinner along with giving them expensive buckle clothing we were throwing out so we thought in return they'd be sure to get the job done, but was not the case. We did appreciate the military discount they gave us. However, would not use this service again due to the inconvienence. They drive around for 45 minutes when our house was only 3 minutes away. We were so worried We called and did a police Report then cxld it when they finally showed up. Also, they are suppose to deduct cigarette breaks according to their contract and nothing was deducted from my final bill. There were atleast 7, 15 min cigarette breaks. 20 minutes dinner break.

Handled my move from my studio apartment very well with no issues at all. My needs were communicated by the owner and were met on all levels. Never really paid someone else to move me before and wasn't really too sure what to expect but if this is as smooth as it usually goes with moving companies then I'm a believer. These guys made my transition from Virginia to New York so nice. The least stress I've had when moving in a while. Nice job. Would recommend.
