The folks from First Due Movers were awesome! From the scheduling, the quoting, and the actual move they were all professional, on time, on task, and under budget. They took great care of all of our things, as well as our carpets, worked very efficiently and quickly. Our move was estimated to take 6.5 hours, they were done in just over 3.5 hours, and everything was in perfect condition and placed exactly where we requested when they were done. I can not recommend First Due Movers highly enough! If it were possible they would be an 11 out of 10!

Not only did they follow up with me, but they showed up on time, with a courtesy call, were unbelievably respectful at all times, amazingly careful with all of my possessions, and simply polite. I was raised military were these things were a given. In my 60 years, I've become very disappointed in the people of our society. These guys gave me renewed faith. I took pictures of our furniture wrapped up and prepared to go on the truck. This was a day move and I've never seen any cross-country possessions treated with this much care. Thank you.

I opted to add move crates from First Due to my move and I would never move without them again! I had two weeks with the crates and could flex them around my move schedule. I choose to have 4 days before the move and the a week and a half after my move so I could take my time unpacking. The crates were super clean and the tags made it super easy to stay organized. On move day First Due was professional, careful and efficient. The perfect combination with movers in my book! I have already recommended them to others and will continue to do so!

Even though First Due Movers was not the lowest bid, they were thorough, very knowledgeable, and professional in their bidding process. These traits continued throughout our interaction with them. Our intuition was that we could trust them to take good care of our possessions during the moving process and we were right. The way they worked together was impressive, demonstrating an incredible sense of teamwork. They showed a consistent sense of urgency in moving our possessions and were often running up and down the stairs. They never stopped! I had the best experience with First Due Movers! They gave me an in home estimate and were very thorough on what the price would be and what was included- I'm happy to say they stayed under their estimate! It was important to me to save money and they were very helpful and supportive in my choice to pack my own house up and use my own boxes that I had in my garage from my last move. My move was a bit of a difficult one as well- there was an issue with closing on time with our first home purchase and it ended up delaying when they were supposed to unload our boxes and put them into our new house. They were creative, helpful, understanding and compassionate during the unfortunate situation and allowed us to leave our items on their truck for a night and squeeze us in for delivery a day later when they were already fully booked. Their employees worked overtime just to make this all happen! All the employees I met were honest, friendly and professional, and all of our belongings made it to our new home safe and sound and in one piece with no damage- including our 2 large and expensive house plants! I will definitely use them in the future, they will be the only ones I use. I would like to mention that these guys don't just move your home or office, they also provide services for moving out of state, as well as loading and delivering any large items you purchase and can't move yourself. Look no further, you've found the best!

First Due Movers is a First Rate Company! From initial contact to final handshake after the move I was very impressed with how professional yet easy going this group is. Luke travelled a ways to give a free estimate and stuck to his price all the way through with no surprises at all. On the day of the move I got a call from Dane telling me they were on the way. Dane, Fabian, & Jake showed up on time in two trucks. I didn't have to stick around while they loaded up and met them the next day at the destination about 160 miles away. They called again letting me know they were on the way. I was very impressed with how well our belongings were protected and handled by the 3. They didn't waste any time but were able to communicate well with each other to not let anything get damaged and for them to not get hurt. First Due moved me from Sammamish to Eugene Oregon. They did an amazing job, very careful and thorough. Every item that was moved to Oregon was carefully wrapped and packed with care. There was no damage to any items. They showed up ontime and kept me notified during their drive down and when they got into Eugene. The next morning they showed up early and moved everything in and set everything up. I also had them move some stuff into storage in Sammamish which was wrapped with care and a different crew moved it into storage. First Due also rents out Fire Boxes that are amazing. They are easy to pack and with strong sides keep everything inside like glassware safe and sound. These are great and the best part was I didnt have to get rid of a ton of cardboard boxes. I will definitely be using First Due in the future as it made our move some much easier.

From start to finish our customer experience with First Due was first class. They made what can be a stressful time very smooth. I loved the red fire crates and the ability to have an entire week loading them up and simply leaving them wherever I filled them for their team to carry out. It saved me so much time not having to make up or break down cardboard boxes or use lots of wrapping material and it meant on arrival at our new house the men put the boxes exactly where we needed them all neatly stacked ready for us to empty. It took the pressure out of having to empty all the boxes in the first day and was so much neater and efficient. As for the team that came on the day - amazing! They really went the extra mile or extra flight of stairs in our case as we had a reverse floor plan home which wasn’t the easiest. They even managed to get some very large and very heavy planters with shrubs down a set of spiral stairs from a roof deck. Had half expected I would have to empty out all the soil which would have been a messy drawn out process so was thrilled they got it done. The entire team were professional, friendly and worked great as a team and we won’t hesitate to recommend First Due and use them again in the future. Many thanks.

These guys were fantastic! From start to finish, they were professional, efficient and on task all the time. I was only doing a short local move and they got it done in 2 hours under the estimate. They took furniture apart and wrapped it all for the move, brought it all inside the new house and put it all together again. They dropped my double oven and shattered the glass is one of the doors and also damaged my 25k sectional that was specially ordered from Roche Bobois, from France. They agreed to pay the about 20% of the repair cost, then, backed out of it by refusing to answer my emails (this was their accounting person); which, by the way, they agreed to pay for only because I had paid them an extra $100 to cover and protect the sectional and they did not cover it and never gave me my $100 back. Also, after they left 2 of my outdoor furniture chairs were missing. Nothing was supposed to leave the house as I was merely moving furniture to the garage to redo the flooring throughout the house. This company is a NIGHTMARE!!

We highly recommend First Due Movers! The move was challenging since it was from a Capital Hill apartment into a Seattle condo which meant narrow streets and old buildings. They worked efficiently and steadily. The apartment had narrow stairs and the condo had a small elevator which was not easy to access with large furniture so they problem solved and made it work smoothly and without a problem!

This is the second time I've used First Due Movers, when we moved from Seattle to North Bend a few years ago... and for a local move to shift our stuff to storage in preparation for our move to another state this time around. Movers were very courteous and kind and super smart about the moving details. Love that you can hire them to haul away furniture you are all done with as well. Pay a reasonable fee and they will take care of your old stuff by donating or reselling whenever possible. Awesome company, I will hire them again any time we need heavy things moved into, out of or around the house!

We used first due movers in Sept 2017 for just the pack. We wished we had used them for our move as well. They were so polite, on time, hard workers, trustworthy and very careful and thorough. We had to move again in Feb 2018 and decided to use them for our pack and move this time. We were so glad we did! We were able to reuse our boxes from the last time we had them pack which saved a lot. They were able to even reschedule us last minute and move everything up by over a week and a half. I highly recommend using them for packs and moves. They are extremely trustworthy and enjoyable to be around, which is nice during the stress of moving.

I did quite a bit of research looking for movers from reviews online to friends/family recommendations and first due movers kept coming back with the highest recommendations. They proved themselves and I would give them my highest recommendation. They showed in time, finished before their estimated time, under the estimated cost, nothing broken, they worked hard every minute with care to all my belongings. We had some complicated items ie a hot tub, grandfather clock, piano, basketball hoop to name a few and they could do it all with ease! Would definitely recommend!

Five stars are not enough for these guys! I was moving from a very difficult location with a long, very steep, dirt driveway at the end of February. First, several movers that I contacted declined because of the difficult access. The First Due team actually did a practice run to make sure they could get the truck up the driveway. The day I was scheduled to move, it snowed and conditions on the driveway were too dangerous for them to drive up for the next several days. And they were scheduled for other jobs for the next several weeks with no openings. My house had closed and the new owners were due to take possession. In what I think was an extraordinary commitment to service, they found volunteers every day for the next three days once the weather cleared and did a load per day in addition to their scheduled jobs. I can not say enough about their professionalism, their spirit of teamwork, their efficiency and what great personalities they have! Not one thing was broken or missing either. Love the crate system too! They are absolutely THE BEST!!!

Dennis and Wyatt were the most careful movers I've ever seen. Every piece of furniture was wrapped in a blanket, completely taped and then wrapped in shrink wrap. Wyatt performed the wrapping at a superhuman pace and was dramatic to watch. Dennis organized the process of loading the truck and carried most of the furniture himself. They were fast and very neat. There was not a scratch on delivery at the destination. I highly recommend the First Due Movers!!

My girlfriend and I chose First Due to do our local move, about 7 miles distance. Our two movers worked very quickly and efficiently, treated all of our belongings with care, and didn't get a scratch on a single thing. They were friendly and funny guys too! They made what could have been an extremely stressful day very easy and painless. They came in 2 hours under estimate, and only charged for the time they were there, which was significantly lower than the estimate. They are the only company we will recommend for moving going forward. I highly recommend renting their fire boxes and buying the moving paper wrapping from them too! Update: We decided to use First Due again for a move we just completed. They once again went above and beyond to take good care of our things while moving quickly and efficiently. They had a happy, cheerful attitude the whole time (extra shoutout to Rob, you radiate positivity!) and really made the experience great. I won’t ever work with any other movers, and First Due will always be the first I recommend!
