This team has leadership and follow-through. When we had to arrange to move my 88 year old mother-in-law who had been in her home for over 60 years the owner was on-site personally. He walked her through the process. The follow-up call, care for her items and their collaborative spirit provided a quick transition of her heavy furniture. The crew was efficient, on-task and used their spirit of teamwork to make it a pleasant, clean and quiet moving experience. They followed all the condo rules and made this move a 5-star experience! *****Plus they gave the senior/military discount! Highly recommended/highly satisfied.

We hired Scott's Oceana Moving to move us from the house we have lived in for 20 years to a condominium . It was a local move. Mr. Scott came out a week before the move to look over the situation and give us an estimate. He was polite, professional and exceptionally pleasant to work with. On the day of the move, Scott's men called about 30 minutes before arriving (on time) and the were also pleasant, professional and hard working. The whole move simply could not have gone better from start to finish. Scott's Oceana Moving has now moved my daughter and her family, two of my neighbors (one personal and one business) and now me. They are absolutely exceptional and I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone!! 5 stars for sure!!

For my move I tried to warn Scott Oceana that my king bedroom was a beast to move. Kendall, Kevin and Trey were determined to move my dresser down a tight staircase with no damage (minor nick was all) but I do appreciate the effort and calling in reinforcements to get the job done! Both pods were delivered with NO damage to either. I cannot thank the Scott brothers enough for their professionalism! If I ever move back to VA I would definitely call them again! Thanks guys

I paid a crew of three from Scott’s Oceana moving for five hours for my move out of a storage unit into my house which is only a few miles away. I’ve been doing a lot of other renovation work for my new house but to be honest paying Scott’s Oceana moving what is the absolute best money I’ve spent on this entire process. From Williams Scott the owner to the three movers, they were first rate always on time actually early. And they worked their butts off the entire time you’re there with me. We beat the estimate originally given in Reno to move additional things that I had in dissipated doing. I can’t recommend them enough and I’ve already given their name to multiple people that I know who are looking for movers.

My experience with Scott’s Oceana moving was pretty bad. They canceled the first day (due to morning rain) which would have been forgivable, if not for the rest of the experience: My wall was dented in my new house. The shelf to my bookshelf was lost. A box was also lost. I attempted to call them several times since and never received a call back. They have nice movers working for them, but management is clearly unresponsive to their clients once the job is finished.

We had lots of hiccups along the way with our move--it took a lot longer than any of us expected--but the guys were very apologetic and hard-working the entire time. The owner even came out to help with the unload to speed up the process. His pricing--even with the extra hours--was very fair and reasonable. I would choose them again for sure. At the end, every one of the guys asked me if there was anything else they could do for us before they left, and they meant it. Good choice.

I've used them multiple times in the past and was happy. From a cost standpoint they are competitive with the market. From a quality standpoint the last move I made was average. The home I vacated and the home I moved into both have some wall damage/scuffs and the stairs have some damage. We had a piano moved and it still has white trim paint stuck to it where it bumped a corner. I felt like they weren't as efficient as they could have been during the move. When the owners of the company step in and become a part of the crew things speed up dramatically, efficiency increases. Overall the inconsistency makes me nervous to hire them again.

Overall, fantastic experience! We had to reschedule my move from Saturday to Sunday because it was raining pretty badly. But the Scott brothers worked together well to get me scheduled for Sunday. Communication was quick and easy, quoting was easy, reviews were high, pricing was lower than most area movers. William was easy to work with the day of the move and Trey was a great partner for him to work alongside. They were clean cut, polite and ready to work. They worked quickly while still respecting my property. He used his expertise to load the truck correctly for weight and care was taken with my belongings so they would not shift. Robert went to William and Mary and it was interesting to hear conversation that had about campus life, I found them trustworthy and would use their services again.

Robbie and his crew of gentlemen were nothing short of professional. In my experience I have never met a moving crew that was so polite, thoughtful, and efficient. Each member of the crew introduced themselves by first name, shook my hand and waited for my input before diving into all of our stuff, which made me feel like my things were in good hands. All the movers I have ever hired in the past have roughed up the walls of the house, and my personal items, however our crew from Scott's were fast but extremely careful and respectful of all of our stuff. I can honestly say there is no reason to hire anyone else during your next move, these guys are the best I've ever used and I have moved quite alot in the last 2 years (all the way from California). If you want, polite, thoughtful, respectful, trustworthy and efficient movers these guys are the only choice.

I booked a job for unloading of our uhaul boxes/pods. We had 6 boxes total and we hired a 4 men team for two hours. These guys showed up early and they were very patient while the uhaul boxes were being unloaded. They finished quickly and worked hard the entire time. They were very patient since I was trying to figure out how to place my sectional in the living room, offering to move it around as needed. They put furniture together and were very courteous the entire time. They treated our belongings with lots of care and made sure to place things exactly where we wanted. We also had our toddler home and a cat, who were both in the way a lot but the team was very patient with them. The timer didn’t start until they started unloading even though they sat around for a bit waiting for the boxes to be loaded off the trailer. We will definitely use them again and highly recommend them to anyone!

Scott’s Oceana Moving company blew me away. They kept in contact before the move. They set me up with my own invoice portal that allowed me to login to look at prices, times, and confirmation of services. The moving crew was personable, quick, and extremely knowledgeable about how to tightly pack a 26’ truck. The crew was patient and friendly. The guys did an amazing job! This is the second time we've used this company and we plan to continue doing so. Even though WE were late in meeting them due to rental truck issues, they were extremely polite and professional. They didn't start our time until we got there. We lived on the third floor of an apartment and they carried our heavy furniture down without hitting anything. They then also moved us into our new place. The time it took them to load the truck at our apartment and unload us at the new place was under 2 hours. Not one wall or piece of furniture damaged. These guys are great and I'd recommend to anyone looking for movers, even if it means paying the driving fee.

The moving crew was nice, but they came unprepared. I had noted that i had a desk that would need to be taken apart, during my quote/initial contact. They showed up without any of their own tools and had to use mine. In the process, somehow I lost a few screwdrivers. While that wouldn't be a huge issue, they also didn't bring a dolly, so they were moving boxes one at a time. It took 3 of them 45 minutes to figure out how to take apart my desk and in the process ripped out a couple of important pieces that affected the structural integrity once put back together. While all 3 were working on this for 45 minutes, nothing was being loaded into my truck. Had only 2 of them had to work on this, at least the 3rd could have been loading things and quite possibly it would have only taken 3-3.5 hours vs thee 4 I was charged for. A couple of my lamps were broken upon arrival to my destination as they weren't tied down in any way (despite that I had numerous bungee cords, ratchet straps etc that I had available for them). also one of my dining chairs was broken. I would have overlooked the broken chair and missing screwdrivers until I realized how badly my desk had been damaged by their ripping out a couple of parts. I wasn't going to post a review, but I reached out to the ownership/management over a week ago now, explaining the damage. I was sent a form to fill out and asked for photos which I provided the next day. It has now been a week with no replies, and I've sent 2 follow up emails in hopes that they would reply. I typically don't leave bad reviews for groups, allowing issues to be settled without a public note of the issues, but a week passing after noting I had damage is unacceptable . Initial communication was great, and those I spoke with were wonderful when I was worried about the hurricane that might hit us. If only their follow up with my broken items was as great, this would have been a much different review.

I would have given 5 stars but their sneakers tracked so much mud and dirt into our newly painted garage. I still need to pressure wash in there. The movers aren’t at fault though. Most moving companies provide booties to put over the shoes so they don’t track mud. The movers were VERY fast and professional!
