I had to give one star to write a review otherwise it would be zero. I've used this company in the past and they were late; and this time they didn't even show up or answer the phone. When they called to confirm my move earlier this week they had the wrong date; and I made sure they had it correct before hanging up the phone. And I waited for hours for them and no one answered the phone at the office even though it says they are open from 9-5. I'm ready to move and no one came, I recommend this company to no one.

I only gave 1 star because I could not post a review without a star rating, otherwise there would be no stars. The owner of this company has awful business ethics, typically I'm an easy going person but once Roger Winston sent me a message on Thumbtack stating that they would "We will BEAT ANY RATE by a licensed and insured moving company," I took him up on that offer and sent him the quote I received from a licensed and insured company. He refused to beat the price. I simply told him that he should not falsely advertise and that he could have earned the business of several of my Commercial Real Estate clients, his response was "Who cares. We turn down at least 30 moves a week. We couldn't handle more business if we wanted it and they probably are a licensed and insured construction company. We have over 2 million dollars of moving insurance. Our reviews speak for themselves. 1bad one out of 243 isn't to bad. Thank You."

Very surprised and sorry to hear some of the other comments. I've used this company twice and both experiences were pleasant. They were much cheaper than other places I had contacted and had no hidden fees. The workers were respectful, kind and very professional. I highly recommend priority movers.

Worst experience ever. I had moved all of my stuff except the large stuff like the beds, tables and tv. So I decided to hire them they took 4 1/2 hrs to do a 2 hr job. They had nothing to move at all. They sent me an old man who struggled and I even just noticed and took pics that they scratched up my son's bed on the wall and didn't even notify me. Don't waste your time will be calling management tomorrow. They charge $95 a hr that's why they drag it out.

I Paid half of my 2,200 $ charge to move from Virginia beach to up state New York. I have a contract to have my lifes belongings many of which can never be replaced; family antiques and Art work, pictures that journal my children and my familys life. Precious books that I cannot replace. The list isendless.... I waited on Feb. 26th all day until late that night for my History and comfort of my furniture to arrive as contracted. No one called and no one emailed me as a back up that they were not coming. I left multiple phone messages, thinking maybe something was wrong with my phone. Also Emailed them with no reply now for 4 days. I have reported them to the city Lawyer and will now call Police. I pray no one ever has to go through this and my message will help someone from the heart ache I feel. I thought this was such a great group of guys, I dont know if I will be able to trust my judgement ever again. Please do not use this company unless you see a posting from me that it has been resolved. I will go on Face book and twitter and not stop until I have my money and my life back. It is one thing for nature to take every thing a person has worked for all of thier life. But this was uncalled for and cruel. Blessings to all who read this please avoid my situation.

Very courteous and professional. Quote given was exactly what I paid. They sent 3 guys instead of the two which made it even better! They were so fast and I had a lot of stuff that needed to come out of one apartment and go up a steep flight of stairs! They were excellent! Randall, Cord, and Ross, you guys are the best! I would definitely recommend and use them again!

First, I did not hire this company. They were contracted to move residents to new apartments as extensive renovations are being performed. On the surface the moving team seemed polite and courteous, unfortunately there was at least one dishonest one among them. Several items were badly damaged and others are just missing. The trim on a handmade hutch was completely knocked off and propped up in front like it was still attached; my white IKEA padded bench was utterly destroyed. The sides on one end have been completely ripped off the base and the cover was covered in greasy dirt. One of the workers felt the need to remove the back from my recliner lift chair and now the back will not stay on the chair and they punched a hole in the left side of the chair. A digital antennae was unscrewed from one of the flat screen TVs but the connector cord was left behind. The antique buttonholer from my Singer sewing machine was removed from the table drawer and the box of stitch plates had been opened and two of the plates were missing. Also one of the men took a liking to my playmate cooler and tried to hide it among the moving blankets and their drinks. It had my name written on it in black sharpie 4 inches high, yet I was told all my coolers were inside the apartment. So I had to point out that that was my cooler. I realize that sometimes accidents happen (but this was less than a 3 mile move), and things get lost or broken; however do not hide the damage behind other furniture or boxes instead of informing me immediately. I am still unpacking and the more I unpack the madder I get! Come on guys Take ownership for your mistakes. I have called and sent an email but have not received even a curtesy call back acknowledging their receipt-however with their C+ rating with the BBB for not responding to complaints I am not going to hold my breath waiting for a reply. I am going to have a lawyer send them a letter demanding arbitration, I am sensing that legal recourse will be the only action left to me. If I cannot receive reimbursement through them I will be forced to seek it from my old landlord as they originally contracted the company.

We have used Priority Movers 3 times over the past couple of years. They have continuously honored the same rates they quoted as we have been loyal customers. The movers did a fantastic and quick job and were VERY careful. We even ordered pizza for them! Service was friendly and they were on time. We are actually needing to move again within the next month and I will be calling on them again.

This was one of the worst experiences Ive ever had with a moving company -- and Im in the military and move frequently. Allow me to preface this with the fact that I hate writing a bad review. I would much rather call Priority and discuss the issues that arose during my move and the overage charges I incurred but they never answer their phone or return messages and voicemails. So here we go: I hired Priority on Thumbtack for a straightforward 2 bedroom condo move (2 men 3 hours - 1:00-4:00pm - $240). On move day they showed up incredibly late, at 4pm. Fine. Never mind we missed a full day of work waiting around. They reconciled the extreme tardiness by adding an extra guy to get the job done faster. So three guys showed up with a truck that they immediately told me was far too small for my 2 bedroom condo move ( I hired them for a two bedroom move). Therefore it would take them longer because they would have to make trips between the old place and new. Long story short, I paid a bill at 10pm for $480 because it took them six hours to move everything over several trips. Plus nothing got assembled at the new place (which, according to my quote, it was supposed to). I have two kids under two and my husband and I were assembling their cribs at 11pm while they wailed amongst the boxes. This wasn't due to our poor planning, we wanted to pay a company to do something we could do ourselves because we have two young kids. The move could not have been more of a disaster and it was all thanks to Priority. And they didn't even move everything! They just left a few random pieces of furniture at our old condo! So we had to pay even more to rent a truck the next day and finish the move by ourselves! I think Priority owes me AT LEAST the overage charges of $240 since its not my fault they didn't bring a large enough truck for a two bedroom move. But, of course, they refuse to return any of my messages. In fact, when I submitted a poor review of them on thumbtack, the owner threw in our faces that we tipped the movers! Of course we tipped the movers, we felt bad for them having to work through the evening due to the owner's incompetence. Incredibly unprofessional company. Don't hire them.
