If I could give these people zero stars, I would. I had a two-hour slot booked from 10-noon. They call me at 10:30 and say they're on their way... From freaking YORKTOWN to Virginia Beach and will be arriving here around 1130. I had to rearrange my entire day because they're not smart enough to realize that driving from YORKTOWN takes a long time.

I'm very impressed by this company. They took care of my long distance move from Virginia Beach to Fort Lauderdale, FL. The movers were very careful with my stuff and very efficient with their work. This is the best moving company I have ever used!

My husband and I were moving our 2 bedroom to storage and we could not find a company that was affordable and with great reviews and then came bust a move ! The customer service over the phone is amazing. Our movers Jeff and paul were great, I recommend them . They were fast , nice, they showed team work and were not shy with wrapping out things to make sure they were extra protected :) they came prepared and they got our large sectional out of a tight door/stair with no problem . Very good experience and good prices!

I would highly recommend Bust-A-Move, especially if you need to move a piano! The movers arrived a several minutes early and quickly moved all of the boxes and furniture out of the house into the storage pods. I was incredibly impressed with the care they took in packing and wrapping my baby grand piano, and how carefully they moved it down the staircase and secured it within the pod.

These guys are amazing! Super professional, personable, and had great attitudes. They did not stop working and were very efficient. It was raining the day we moved and it did not slow these guys down. They went the extra mile to make sure all of our furniture was covered and wrapped properly, and there was no damage to any of our furniture. Their front office was super helpful scheduling and organizing our move. I highly recommend Bust-A-Move! You will not be disappointed.

What an amazing experience. They moved me out in record time. Very friendly, professional and accommodating. My stuff is stored in their storage and they made sure it was in safe handling the entire time. I will be using them again and recommending them to all my friends and family!

A little late giving this review since I moved in February. I got four guys for four hours. They were all terrific, one was a little iffy but he was young and I guess new. Very polite company did not overcharge me gave me my military discount. I would definitely use them again if I ever sell my place. The only thing I would suggest is that they have mattress covers to cover your mattress they covered everything else very well.I can’t think of anything else that they should do different.

Simply, I can not rave enough about this company, Johnny (owner), the movers and the staff. This is my third move with Bust-A-Move (2 local and, this one, pseudo-long distance/intrastate). Great care is taken to not cause damage to structures (walls, doorways, ceilings, etc) and belongings. You can not find better listeners and actualizers regarding specific needs for special items and requests. No ego issues, really! Bust-A-Move is THE BEST!

This was my second job with Bust A Move, and they were awesome again! The day was nothing but a downpour, and the two movers were very considerate of my furniture and belongings that were not protected, and worked to move other items during the downpours and when rain let up they worked on the unprotected, larger furniture pieces. Hard workers, very professional, considerate, polite! We have hired them again for our last location of boxes and furniture that need to be moved ---- looking forward to another great experience. Excellent service - give them a try!

This was a disaster from beginning to end. Showed up late. Scratched my hardwood floors in both houses. Pushed code reset button on gun safe which locked me out and charged me 9 1/2 hrs for a telephone quote of 6 hrs with no resolution for the issues.

They ate lunch while the clock was going on my move and charged me an overage, and they literally stole a small ziplock bag full of green stuff from my kitchen. Who knew they were such plant enthusiasts? Do not hire, unless you want your plants stolen too.

I am in the military and needed a moving company to help me out last minute/same day due to unexpected events happening in my life. Bust-A-Move couldn't help me the same day but was able to help me the very next morning. I was a total mess and these movers saved me from a huge headache. I didn't even have to be there for them to move me. I dropped my keys off at their office and they were super professional and made sure I was taken care of. Their prices are affordable and reasonable. They were very friendly and trustworthy. I recommend anyone looking to move to use them.

Hired these guys to load a 26ft truck with 90% of a three bedroom house and they did it in 2 1/2 hours. Clean, friendly and really hard workers. Will hire for part two of our move. Best moving decision so far.

Fast, affordable and friendly. They were 7 minutes late but called ahead of time to let me know they were running behind schedule by about 10 minutes. I really appreciated that. Ultimately, they did an amazing job. Did not take any breaks until the job was complete. I hired them for packing services, loading my house up and putting it in storage.

If you need a mover Bust A Move are the guys to call! I was moving from my condo to a one level home. The problem was I had some stuff already at the Chesapeake Public Storage Units, but I need lots of things moved on one Saturday from condo to storage units! Antonio, Curtis were awesome, but sine so much stuff Jordan came to help also. Now the following Saturday, you guessed it, now moving Everything from 2 large units and 1 small one from storage to my new house! The same guys came to my rescue again! Antonio, Curtis and Jordan!!! I am a single woman in my 'early' 50's and I felt very comfortable with them! They worked hard, wrapped and protected my belongings and we joked around with on another. I recommend Bust A Move to everyone!

I used bust a moved and they busted my wallet. I was quoted $800 less than what I paid. I didn't get a final bill until after they took the money from my account with my card on file as I had used them in the past. I am not saying the work wasn't worth the money I paid, I'm saying they should've told me the "real" quote from the beginning so I could've lanned accordingly. We did have to get another truck as I had more stuff than I thought, but man, I just didn't expect to pay that much more from the original quote. I will say that there was no damage to anything from the move furniture or house so they did a good job there. They all had great personalities, but I did feed them lunch and provided energy drinks for them as well. If you do decide to use these guys, make sure you get a solid quote and find out if and how the price could, or probably will, flucuate. For this, I'm giving them 2 stars. If not for this price surprise I would have definitely given them 5 stars.

They were extremely polite and courteous and on time for both moves I used them for. They even stayed extra and helped my husband empty our storage shed after they moved all our stuff out of the POD!! They were so courteous and professional. Would Use them again absolutely!!

I don't know about any one else but I had the best experience with the company when they moved us of our old house. Polite, professional and kid (+animal) friendly. I will definitely have them move us out of storage and into our new place. Still can't get over how quick and safely they moved everything, especially the heavy stuff, plus they made it seem effortless. They were very accomidating and flexible. I would recommend anyone that can't move themselves to hire this company. ****Update**** Please try to book them the minute you find out you are moving. They book up quick. No last minute availability. I found out the hard way my last 2 moves.

What a great group of guys that came out to move our stuff. I gave the movers a pretty fat tip cause they did such an outstanding job! This is actually my third time using them and they never disappoint. The first time I used them, they were highly recommended by a couple people I've asked who they used for moving, and I can see why. I strongly recommend them as well for anyone looking for a quality moving company.

I requested 3 mean and two hours for my 2 bedroom apartment. My husband is deployed and I’m also active duty and sinpmg couldn’t make this move alone. The lady in the office that answers the phones started off so sweet and told me from the looks of things I only needed 2 men and 2 hours. After spending over 30 min talking to her I find her it was fine and I’ll go with her suggestion. After the movers arrived and begin to start they asked me why I didn’t hire more men and I told them my reason. They replied that they can’t do this job in 2 hours without another man or more time. I immediately contacted the office and called back to back for 30 plus minutes and no one answered. Of course we went over and they charged me for the time and the manager even said that I was wrong for not getting 3 men. I called and he blocked my number and refuse to give my money back. This is a privately owned business and no one should use them EVER! They are unprofessional and even lied about being able to rehang my curtains and mount my TV back. They simply wanted my $420 and left half my apartment for me to find a way to move alone with two babies.

I would give them less than 1 star if possible. Unloading my furniture that they packed 2 weeks ago. several pieces are ruined due to poor packing and using no blankets between furniture even though we had them available on site ready for use. they were interested in only one thing, get the stuff in pod and get away. After being assured by PODS that these crews know what they are doing.
