They arrived on schedule and used extreme care handling everything. They were finished completely by the day’s end. I was very impressed by the speedy and careful job they did.

We were in Arlington moving to a new home in the same town. It was relatively easy move and when I called several local movers I could not believe the high prices. When I called Arlington Movers their rates were more reasonable. When moving day came they arrived on schedule and finished up in half a day. We were in our new home by that afternoon. For our move from Arlington to Manassas VA we received estimates from several different moving companies. The best rate we received was from Arlington Movers. We were a bit afraid that there would be some hidden charges built in but we could find nothing in the contract. After the move was finished (which went very smoothly) we paid exactly what we were quoted. When we move again we will call Arlington Movers first.

It was a rainy, windy day when the moving crew from Arlington Movers arrived in front of our home. A rainy fall day in Virginia, is windy cold and wet. The weather did not deter these movers at all. They worked hard to be sure everything remained dry. When it began to rain harder that did not matter to them at all. I was very impressed by their effort and would recommend them.

The members of MVD movers are nice and friendly.thay know how to communicate with people and thay are really polite. I recommend them to everybody who's trying to move because these guys are very accurate and they know how to work as a team, what benefits a custumer because as a team they finish work fast and of course without any damages

I needed to move in a hurry as my company closed my VA office and transferred me to Baltimore. I called Arlington Movers and they came and packed everything and moved it to my new place near Baltimore. I was impressed by how fast and efficient they were. When they delivered all my belongings everything was in perfect condition. If you ever need reliable interstate movers I recommend these guys to do the job.

These guys were nice but not professional. Very careless/sloppy with taping and wrapping my things up. Knocked over a shelf in the hallway while moving and broke a rod on my standing clothes dryer that folds up on its own so not sure how that happened. I think people writing the good reviews may be getting mixed up with another Arlington moving company -same name.

When we moved our corporate offices from Arlington to downtown Washington DC we hired Arlington Movers do the commercial moving job. They had to take all of the office equipment, file cabinets that were full and desks from the top floor of the one location to the first floor of the next location. They accomplished the job over the weekend so we did not lose any work time. The movers were seamless in the work that they performed. We would recommend them as commercial movers in to any company looking to relocate.

They were $250 cheaper than other quotes I got, so naturally was a little worried about the service I was going to receive, but it was literally faultless - thanks Fairfax VA Movers !!!!

All of the people below with good reviews must be robots or something because there is absolutely no way every single one of you put 5 stars. If I could give a big red negative star then I would. We scheduled the truck on Tuesday to move us on Thursday same week and now customer service has vanished into thin air. "We'll send this to the dispatcher to get back to you" is the response we've gotten for the last 4 hours. The number on the website is only the booking company which has proved to be as useful as male nipples. We made the mistake of thinking 4.7/5 stars via Google reviews might help us gauge whether or not this cheap moving company is worth their salt. It absolutely is not worth even wasting your time on this poor excuse of a company. ***Edit*** They didn't show up at all and we had to move an entire house at night with 1 truck. Never even called us to apologize or explain themselves. Do yourself a favor and don't even bother with these tools.

Arlington Movers were the lowest rate compared to a half dozen movers in Washington DC area that we received quotes from. They also had excellent references. We retained them and when moving day came they arrived on schedule and wasted no time. Everything went extremely smoothly as two men carried and one man, who was the boss named Lou, loaded the truck. It was fascinating to watch how systematically they worked. They arrived the following day at our new home in the Annapolis MD area. Everything was unloaded and placed perfectly in our new home. There was no damage or missing items as they had promised. We highly recommend Arlington Movers.

If I could give zero stars, I would. On the day that I was supposed to move (and had reserved in advance), this company called five minutes before they were supposed to arrive to let me know there was something wrong with their truck and they would call me "later." I had done relocubes, so I had already driven 35 minutes out to meet them at the location. Their lack of respect not only for calling someone ahead of time (I have no idea how they had planned on coming on time if they realized they had a truck problem five minutes before they were supposed to be in Manassas) and for their follow-up (no apology, whatsoever) was appalling. I don't post reviews often, but I wouldn't want someone to go through the miserable experience I had with this company.

I received notice that I was being transferred from the Washington DC office to the Fairfax VA office and needed to move on very short notice. I called the only movers in the DC area, that I knew of which was Arlington Movers. They gave me a rate that was very reasonable and told me they would place everything in a climate controlled storage unit until I was settled into my new place. Living alone, that worked out real well as I could stay in a Residents Inn until I found an apartment or condo. Once I was situated they delivered everything. I found the entire process very satisfactory and planned perfectly.
