We used them to move our 2 homes into 1 home and store our property. The price was great, the care they took, in moving and storing our items was awesome. Rather than try and move 2 house holds into 1 myself and risk getting hurt or worse. A Mover took care of everything for us fast easy and on budget. I highly recommend using them.

We had a difficult time with the closing date on our new place and found out that we would be moving the day before Thanksgiving with 2 days notice. We called A mover and they said that they could accommodate us which took a huge load off, but we had no prior experience with the company. They showed up with 3 guys right on time. The guys were all very professional and very helpful. The move went quickly and there was no damage. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Great job!!! Only had an elliptical to move from a person I bought it off of Craigslist. We couldn't do it ourselves. For a reasonable price the guys did it. It was a little hard bringing it up a few flights of stairs. But they did it!

I was moving out of my dads house and in with my Fiance, and all I needed help moving was my Bed frame w/ headboard, a mirror dresser, standard dresser , a night stand and queen size mattress-box spring. I had called everywhere looking for a reasonable quote and they all were outrageous. Just when I was giving up I called David with A- Movers and he quoted me a price within my price range. Tom and George showed up on time and they were super nice and professional. They made sure to communicate with me the whole time with all questions and before taking anything apart. They put everything back together just as it should be without any damages and placed all my furniture how I wanted it. I will use this company again when I move in the future!

Amazing! This is the first time that we called movers for our move and it was a fantastic experience. Tommy and Tom were top notch and never complained about a thing. During our move several things caused a little hassle to move and even though I know that they were a little frustrated- you would have never known- they stayed calm and collected and never mentioned it at all. Great company. I called for movers on the weekend and they came the next day. They even negotiated to a reasonable price being that it's holiday season. They moved my furniture from a 2nd floor apartment and then upstairs (mostly) again in 3 1/2 hours.

Very unhappy. When I first contacted for service they were very polite and gave a great price. However once items were moved there were some damages. They responded quickly to acknowledge but then eventually never came out to view the damage never offered any compensation. Then just stopped responding all together. I would rather pay more for a larger company next time and at least know I am covered.

As a small business woman, I trust clients (mostly other small business people) to pay for the services we provide. In 20 years of doing business, I can count on one hand the people who have not paid for their ads in our magazine. David agreed to run 12 ads in Tidewater Women at a special rate and stopped making payments after the 2nd ad. He is in arrears for $375 and does not return calls.
