The service provided was what was quoted to me. 3 guys came and moved us in the time estimated. Disassembled and reassembled furniture. All furniture was wrapped well and without damage during transport. They also tried to put the boxes in the coordinating rooms in the new house which was very helpful. So it would be helpful to label the boxes correctly prior to the move. We were happy with this company. I would recommend them to a friend.

Okay! I do not often do reviews but since I found Movestar through Yelp I thought I should. We moved on Sept.11th 2017. Mario, Phillip and David all arrived on time in uniform and ready to go. We have used moving companies probably about 5 times. I will never use another company other than Movestar again. They moved a two bedroom apartment(wrapping every piece of furniture) including a 5ft x 7ft jacuzzi from Lakewood to Preston Hollow including travel time in 4 1/2 hours. No bumps or bruises, very kind and polite. Very efficient and proffesional. No fireman pun intended but even help catch my cat and put her in her kennel. I think the most impressive part was watching my neighbors stand and watch in awe. Asking us...Where did you find these guys? Look how fast they are! I will be using them when we move for sure! Man they sure do work as a team dont they? I could go on and on about how impressed everyone was but I think I have gotten my point across. Thank you so much David, Phillip and Mario for everything. You made a dreaded event so much easier and actually somewhat pleasant. Everyone do yourselves a favor and do not look any further. This is the place and team! BTWS ! I have read other reviews and One thing I personally would like to clarify is I asked if the employees were off duty firefighters and I was told they were NOT. Some may be but the owners are/were indeed Firefighters and I spoke to Cpt. Maturey personally because I wanted to know about his company. I was not misled or conned. If you are ready to move when you movers show up the way we were I cannot imagine your move going anywhere but up. Thanks again all of you!

We have moved no fewer than seven times in the last 17 years and without reservation, MoveStar was the BEST experience we've had. These guys were fast, efficient, careful, polite, and everything else you could possibly imagine. I literally cannot say enough positive about them - you will not be disappointed if you use them for your move. In every single move except this one, we've had items lost or broken, walls and floors gouged and disfigured, hidden charges, late deliveries, and even folks showing up drunk!! No so on this one -- we've become "expert" in finding issues because of being screwed over so many times and we literally could not find a SINGLE ISSUE. No dings. Nothing broken. My wife almost got excited when she couldn't find the "stays" for the bookcase -- she'd found something!! But alas, they were actually bundled up nicely, marked, and taped to the back of the unit. Literally -- no luck in finding a problem. If there were six stars, I would give them six stars. This was the best move we've ever had.

I have moved 8 times in 15 years and this was by far the worse experience I have ever had. They damaged nearly all of our furniture. They put a firefighter on the moving crew to go along with their gimmick but he doesn't have any moving experience. The guy we had was being showed how to put a dolly under the boxes on our moving day. They berate you into giving them a tip by essentially telling you "they will take care of your stuff" if you take care of them. This started in the first 30 min of the move and lasted all day. They slow play the move so that it takes as long or longer than the quote you get. It was almost comical to see the guys have to go to the truck after every box they brought in to get a drink or they stood around outside talking in between each load. Then when they realize they are close to the time they actually started running in and out of the house. The customer service guy that dealt with all the damage wasn't much better, very slow to respond, un-organized, scheduled appoints and showed up hours late with no call. In his defense it sounded like he is over worked because of all the damage claims their company has. I would never use these guys again and will never refer them. We needed temp storage was the only reason we called them otherwise we would have used midnight moving as we have the past 3 moves with very good results.

They helped out with loading heavy furnitures and they were super super slow. I had to keep them an extra 15 minutes plus an hour just to load lierally seven items. I defently dont recommend them . They took one item from one side of the truck to the other side of the truck and back and forth.

I would highly recommend MoveStar. My closing was delayed, and they were very accommodating in changing my move date. David and his crew showed up as promised and didn't stop the entire time. In my proposal, Lance estimated between 8-9 hours and they were done in four, resulting in a nice savings. All four of the crew were extremely polite and went above and beyond in making my move less stressful.

Best moving experience I've had, and this was my 14th move. Their quote was fair and much better than other quotes (more people, bigger truck, for the same amount). They arrived right on time, got straight to work, handling our furniture (even our crappy 10-year-old Ikea stuff) with great care, and they were quick to unpack and get everything set up quickly and perfectly in the new house.
