Firehouse was recommended to me by a trusted friend and they didn't disappoint. The office staff were knowledgeable, thorough, and friendly. My movers were right on time and worked quickly. It rained the majority of my move and they didn't slow down a bit. Their flat hourly rate with no hidden fees can't be beat. When we finished moving, we took care of the payment on an iPad. Easy and quick. These guys know how to get things done quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend this company for your moving needs!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I expected to pay for about 2.5-3 hours of moving. Luckily my move was within about a mile of the old place and we had everything ready to go. The guys showed up and immediately jumped to work and got the move done in 2 hours flat. Super impressed with their work and their professionalism. And they did it so quickly that it took most of the pain out of our move. I highly recommend these guys for any moving needs and will definitely use them in the future.

Firehouse moved my company from our building we had been in for ten years. We had 75 days to move after the building owner took a short term lease extension off the table. That 75 days also included me being out of state for 15 days for Christmas and two more weeks of teaching class. I planned as much as I knew how to, and accidentally came across Firehouse while driving somewhere during a weekend. I was very nervous as we had never moved before and had grown massively over the last decade. You guys were awesome. A team of three had me moved, and unpacked and setup in a long day. About a year later when I moved my office within the new building to a space that better fit my needs, you guys showed up and again, were over the top awesome. In this case about 2/3rds of a day. My lease is up early next year. If I don't renew I will be calling you guys early about how to make the move as efficiently as possible. I say this because you guys gave me ideas along the way with these two moves that would have made it faster and cheaper, but I had some things setup already. Keep up the awesomeness! Firehouse Movers, from the office staff to the movers, are all excellent. We used them a year ago to help us move into a temporary home. They did an excellent job then and when we used them again a year later, they were once again top-notch. Matt, Julio, Philli, Brandon, Israel, and Greag were amazing - polite, courteous, and hard workers during the entire 7-hour move, an hour less than estimated. It was a chilly, raining day but they arrived at 7am with smiles and ready to go. They worked fast but carefully. Took great care with our belongings, wrapping everything to protect from the rain. At the end of the move, they asked if there was anything I wanted moved and were patient as I had them move pieces of furniture, some several times. And the team, when presented with the challenge of my desk, which was measuring too big to fit into the room I had planned for my office, did not give up. I could tell they kept contemplating how they could make it happen. So with a few ideas, they took it upstairs to give it a try, and they got it in!

Firehouse Movers helped us with our last THREE moves and our most recent was the most challenging yet. Our movers (Jesus, Joseph, and Alfredo) were AMAZING!! They were perfectly kind, professional, courteous, and HARD-WORKING!! They moved our largest, heaviest, and most awkward pieces of furniture with precision and care. They disassembled, moved, and reassembled 3 large beds, wrapped and protected leather furniture, appliances (which they unhooked at our old house and hooked back up for us at our new house) and a number of dressers and ancillary furniture items. They also managed moving large, heavy furniture up a curved staircase without so much as brushing a wall. I highly recommend Firehouse Movers!! Their kindness and work ethic are matchless!

Our experience with Firehouse Movers was fantastic. Jarrod, Rodney, and Joe, did an exceptional job. These guys were professional, fast, and efficient. Jarrod was training Joe to be a crew lead, and honestly, all 3 of these guys could/should be crew leads (from my perspective) based on the quality of service we received today. They made sure our boxes, furniture, and miscellaneous items were all handled with care. They didn't move slow to squeeze in another 30 minute to cost me another hour. They didn't have any weird restrictions or limitations. If I asked them to move something they were more than happy to accommodate us. Never heard them complain once, even with it being cold out. I will most certainly be using Firehouse Movers in the future, and will be recommending them to all my friends and family. Oh! and shout out to the scheduling team. I believe I spoke with both Whitney and Hunter, and they were friendly and helpful. The entire experience was great from start-to-finish.

We used Firehouse Movers for our first move at the cost $756. To move less stuff from the same two locations on our second move the price went up to $934. The second set of movers were slow, and unorganized. It sucked that we actually moved more boxes and containers on our own on the second move to see that the cost was nearly $200 more. I am sorry, but this will be the last time we use this company again.

I just wanted to share what a wonderful experience we had with Firehouse movers. We moved a little over a week ago and when we were looking to hire movers, weren't sure what to expect with an hourly rate. With Firehouse movers, we were beyond impressed with how quick, efficient, and professional they were! And they took great care with all of our things, too. Alex's crew is amazing! They did such a great job, we have requested them again for my Mom's move this Thursday. I'm 100% confident that they will do the best job in the fastest amount of time. Long story short, our three movers Steve, Phillip, and Emanuel were not only able to do it but they did it so quickly (they were literally sprinting in and out of the house) and nothing got damaged. Great but almost didn't use again. I called them first because I used them before, great estimate, great service, super fast, came in lower than their reasonable estimate the last time I used them. Just used again today. Almost didn't use them again based on their extremely high estimate. But I trusted them and decided to use them anyways. I am happy to report they came in well under their estimate and did a awesome job just like last time. They told me they have new software that gives the estimates. I'd look into getting better software. I moved the exact same stuff and it was 150 more on the estimate. Let me say, and please read this.... Once again they came in well under, so please don't let the estimate scare you. Use these guys they're the best and they came in well well well under their estimate.

Overall, had a good experience. Some scratches on the door way and stairwell because of moving the bedframes, but otherwise they were careful. They laid down mats on the living and dining rooms before moving the heavier furniture.

Jesus and his Lewisville crew moved our daughter from a Denton 3rd floor, no elevator apartment to a nearby ground floor apartment in 2 hours! We had already packed, with boxes and suitcases, and disassembled most of our IKEA stuff to save time and cut costs. The 3 guys trundled up to 6 boxes at a time down the steps and even whisked away a large heavy INTACT IKEA cube storage unit while my back was turned. They were cheerful, polite, and gave us a 30 minute head's up. We would definitely use them again!

Honestly, the slowest moving movers I have ever hired...and I have moved with movers many times. At one point there was one guy standing in the truck while another folded blankets...and the third guy wasn't moving anything either. I had already moved most of my stuff, so that they would just be moving the big items. They made my 2 hr job take 2hrs 45 mins...and it felt very much like they did so on purpose. I give them 2 stars instead of one because they didn't break anything.

Firehouse Movers did a great job with scheduling and sorting through the logistics of setting up the moving day. Very friendly and helpful. They were punctual and moved some really heavy furniture up stairs. While there were many positives to working with them, one negative was that one of the movers was eating sunflower seeds during the move in and spit out seeds ALL throughout the house. I was still finding seeds two weeks later, yuck!

Great service! I first heard an advertisement for them through Way FM and decided to get a quote from them. Hiring hourly (instead of the amount of items/weight), I was concerned that the movers would move slower to get more money, however, the exact opposite happened. They were nearly jogging to and from the moving truck and my house to get the items in and out as fast as possible. One of the movers also found my lost iPod touch under the couch cushions and brought it to my attention immediately. He could have EASILY taken this without me knowing, but did not. When we got to the new property they happily placed every item where I asked for it to be placed. Why you should choose Firehouse Movers: -Trustworthy -With how fast they move, you will very likely pay less here than at other companies that charge by item/weight (another moving company quoted me almost double what Firehouse Movers ended up costing) -Friendly movers who are willing to place items where you want them

Even after some complications came up with my new apartment, Firehouse Movers was understating and made sure their crew could accommodate my new time frame. Shout out to Jamarcus, Giovanni, And Zach! These guys came in and got me and my wife moved in far less time than we were quoted. And on a hot July day no less. These guys had a great attitude, very cheerful, and a pleasure to be around. I have used Firehouse movers for four moves. The last move this past week was a partial move of furniture we purchased and moving stuff around in our house to make room for it. The process started out bad with text messages from the same employee telling me that I had not signed the contract however it was never emailed to me and finally after the third or fourth conversation it finally got emailed to me. This left a bad feeling about the process. The next issue was Firehouse not willing to be flexible enough to provide us with a move window one business day ahead of the move and only telling us we were the second move of the day and they would call us 30 minutes ahead of time. Normally this would be fine but we had too many different parties in play and it was very difficult to try to work with this. The only option was to change the date and pay a $150 change fee. Having used them before and planning a future full house move I was not willing to do this and just asked for a little flexibility. Thankfully Whitney came to the rescue and figured out how to work with us to get it scheduled to our satisfaction by agreeing to have the crew make multiple stops for us. Whitney not only saved the business this week but she also secured our next move with Firehouse when she put the customer first and made sure our needs were met. I sincerely hope her bosses read this review because they have an awesome employee and should use her as an example within their company of how to build customer satisfaction. The crew of two that disassembled, moved and reassembled our furniture were professional and fast. We will be requesting them when we move again in the near future.

Firehouse’s timeliness was poor. I was the 2nd move of the day, the movers didn’t arrive until almost 4:30pm. They were not proactive in keeping me informed of the estimated arrival during the day. I had to call them for status updates. Something to consider if you’re on a tight timeline on move day. The move itself was just okay. 2 of the 3 movers were good- they handled my things with care and were professional. The 3rd mover seemed to be struggling with simple tasks. He dropped part of a coffee table and dropped a small bookshelf down the stairs, which damaged the piece and left scratches on the floor at the bottom of the stairs. He then offered to pay me cash if I didn’t file a claim through Firehouse corporate, which was unprofessional. Accidents happen, but it wasn’t handled the right way.

Wow! Nothing less than FIVE STAR SERVICE. Hard to find in this industry. Their team of guys were on time (actually a little early), took extreme caution in handling our belongings (like it was their own), worked at a quick but careful pace. Best moving experience ever! We used Firehouse Movers for our move a few months ago. The price was very reasonable and we had heard positive things from friends. The service coordinator was so nice and patient answering all of my questions and making sure we knew what to expect on moving day. Our crew Carlos (the foreman), Noe, and Amendeo were all amazing! They were polite while speaking with me and my family, respectful of our belongings, and super efficient. You could tell this team knew what they were doing. By far the worst receptionist I have ever encountered. Called to get a quote on moving and she told me that she would call me back. 2 hours later she still has not called. The team moved us out of our third story apartment and made sure all items were well taken care of when being packed into the trailer ensuring extra moving blankets were covering all the furniture to prevent scratches or scuffs. When we arrived at our new house they took every precaution to make nothing was damaged from our items, to the flooring, to the walls. I could not believe how quickly the entire move was completed. The team lead even asked before backing the trailer into the driveway if it would bother me if the trailer left tire marks on the concrete (obviously not because it made everything easier and quicker). It’s this level of care and consideration that blew me away. Highly recommend this company, you will not be disappointed.

Great movers. Don't be turned off just because they have an hourly rate. They move quickly and don't waste time. As they return to the house to pick up more items they are moving at a joggers pace. Five stars is five too few for how impressed we were by Mike, Joe and their crew that moved us on 12 March 2019. First off, they moved 22 years worth of household furniture and accumulations and not one single item was damaged or broken, nor was there any inadvertent damage done to the old house or the new house. Stellar professionalism. Secondly, it began to rain, hard, and I brought them in the house to take a break until the rain moved on (fast moving storm). They could've milked the clock but instead chose to spend that time staging the next items to be moved. Again, rock-solid professionalism. This was a very large move and from one end of the Dallas metroplex to the Fort Worth side and entailed having to make two trips. It was a long day and the guys never slowed down, never complained and were nothing but professional the entire day. Our experience with Firehouse Movers simply guaranteed that we will call them in one year when it is time to move from our temporary quarters into our finished retirement home.
