They kept in high spirits and never slowed down despite climbing two flights of stairs with heavy crates. Recently, I had to find a mover real fast to help me get large and heavy furniture, fixtures and equipment from one side of the metroplex to the other. The job entailed disassembling complicated stuff at point of origin and re-assembling it at drop off. Because of the little time I had to secure a mover, I was expecting to pay a premium -- last minute -- price. My experience with element was fantastic. Element was able to take care of everything fast. 3 movers arrived exactly on time, disassembled and packed the truck faster than I ever imagined and then dropped of everything in perfect condition. The movers were all friendly and professional all the time. At the end, when I got the bill, I was pleasantly surprised that there were no surprises (in contrast to other movers I had used in the past) !!! Great job and very reasonably priced.

I hired this company to move me from an apartment to a house. It ended up being a very expensive move as they claimed it was because of the location of my apartment. When I go to do the laundry, the laundry room flooded. I had gotten an email from Joey asking me to rate them and if it wasn't going to be a good review to email. I emailed him but got a response from a Patty (not from Joey). She did arrange for someone to come out to look at the problem. Apparently the drain hose to the washer was not connected properly. I asked Patty for some type of compensation since I had spent the evening cleaning up the water that flooded my laundry room. I never heard back but received a mailed $10 Starbucks card and a note explaining that the contract states they do not disconnect and reconnect appliances. Well, i did not get a contract nor did Joey mention that when we were going over the the items needed to be moved. Furthermore, the movers failed to mention this too--UNITL it became a problem. I tried to do the right thing and all i get is $10. SHAME ON YOU, ELEMENT MOVING!!

I’ve used these guys three times now. The first two times went off without a hitch. The very reasonable rate quoted was what I paid at the end of the day. The third time, a driver had a family emergency and was four hours late. My six hour move ended up taking about 9.5 hours instead. I worried that I would be charged an insane amount or some kind of horrible fight would ensue, but after a few calls and discussions, they honored my quote again and maintained my respect. All of my stuff was delivered safely every time. All the guys are friendly, work quickly, have incredible knowledge about how to put things together and take them apart, and have been just overall wonderful. I like this company a lot, and I recommend them without reserve.

Such a smooth experience! I was quoted for a 4 hour move but only used 3, so they didn’t charge me for the hour not used. They were very transparent about the cost and no hidden fees! I would recommend paying in cash instead of card so you don’t get charged 3.5%. No scratches on the furniture, and they take apart the bed and put it back together for you. They also wrap the furniture so it doesn’t get damaged.

I moved from a 2 bedroom upstairs apartment to a 2 bedroom split level apartment July 2 and Element was incredible! I price shopped around and they had the best price by far (about $40/hr difference). The two movers, Irving and Darwin well professional, friendly and incredibly efficient. Does anyone really enjoy the actual process of moving? I don’t know about you, but a feeling of dread was washing over me as I attempted to find a professional and efficient, but reasonable moving service. Usually, I plan out everything 3 to 4 weeks in advance. This time was different; I decided to move back to Chicago on 1/27/15 with the moving date set for 2/3/2015. A friend gave me the business card for the Move It Texas moving company, saying that he had heard good things about them. Scheduling the Move: I contacted the company via telephone and booked the move on 1/31. They sent the contract via email and you can sign the contract on your smartphone – very easy and convenient. They also sent a reminder notice on the day before the move. Overview: I hired 3 movers for 2 hours. I had a one-bedroom apartment on the second floor (walkup) with some larger/heavier furniture and the walk from apartment to truck was approximately 300 feet. I had already rented a truck since we were moving out of state. All of my belongings were already boxed up. Day of the Move: 1. The 3 movers were on time and even a few minutes early!!! They all introduced themselves and then went straight to work. There was no down time for them. 2. My family was there to help with the move/supervise. The movers were very efficient (they brought their own equipment: 4 wheel cart to move furniture, plastic wrap to secure furniture – i.e. dresser drawers - and dolly). There was no damage to my belongings nor to the apartment and they took great care of my belongings. 3. The movers were fast and efficient. Everything was in the truck within the allotted time. There was no attempt to stretch the time of the move in order to charge more. 4. Also – all of my belongings made it to Chicago without incidence (you know how things can get jostled in the truck if they aren’t packed in very well). Overall, this was a great experience and was well worth the money that was spent for their services. Actually, the cost was extremely reasonable. This was my second time moving in less than 6 months and I wish I had known about them before my first move, because it would have made that experience so much better as well!!!

Good experience overall. George and the crew that came to our house were excellent. They worked from 8am to 9pm to get our job done in one day. Everything was packed and loaded carefully. Tough to estimate jobs but more focus on that and proper labor staffing would be helpful
