Awesome moving company. Took great care of my old family heirlooms and crystal. Covered everything up with blankets and shrink wrap to prevent scratches. Guys were very nice and on time, they called 30 minutes before they arrived and had a call afterwards to check if everything went well. Great customer service.

this was my first time hiring movers and had a fabulous experience moving with community movers. I will never try and move all of my stuff myself again. Very much worth the money. They handed everything carefully so nothing broke, they were very quick and strong- had to move things down stairs and back up stairs and they had a great attitude despite me not having AC and we had a good time. Also they were so nice when I changed the date on them literally 5 times because my place kept pushing The date. I'd definitely recommend them. Also didn't realize and I love that they give back to chatrity.

The movers tried to manipulate me with the pricing. I was told by Chad ( Office Manager) that the hourly rate was minimal special rate since I was working with an apartment locator. Basically I was told that and I Would get a 2 hour move, and that the movers could get everything done within or very close to the 2 hours. It was a total lie!!! The movers moves slow picking the furniture (which only includes to bedrooms) and NO living room couch or furniture. It took them two hours to load the furniture, then they took 1 & 1/2 to arrive at the apartment (which is only a 20-30 minute drive. They obviously went to lunch and charged me for 46 minute lunch they took. To add insult to injury, I left my house after them, arrived at the place before the movers with the truck---and waited 46 minutes for them to arrive. I called them to see where they were but they didn't pick up? So when they made it, they took 3 additional hours to slowly moved my items in the apartment. I even helped move boxes too, but I was more than shocked at the end they tried to charge me $659. When I complained, and explained that that was not the right, and I had been quoted a different amount by the office manager (Chad) and the apartment locator, they called "their" boss and he made threats. I try to offer him $300 cash in compensation because that was all I had, and that was will be on my payment expectation, but he refused and said he was coming to my apartment. I had to call the police and now I am seeking legal actions for deceptive trade practices. Beware of this company, and you move free scams.

Fantastic moving experience. Had movers come on 10/16, and upon their arrival went straight to business. They were friendly and efficient and got all of my furniture and boxes for a 1 bedroom apartment loaded in the truck in 30 minutes. The truck was so large it could easily fit all the possessions for a family of 5+ in 1 load. They promptly got to new residence and again ehandled the load and expertly stacked boxes on dollies and efficiently moved all the large bulky furniture with no complaint or issue. When they finished moving all my possessions I was getting a box from my car and upon arriving at my apartment I was pleasantly surprised that they put together my bed and set it up for me without asking. They made for my easiest move to date and I would definitely recommend them going forward.

Julio and Daniel were extremely friendly, careful with the furniture, and quick movers. We had everything wrapped and packed, but the items we did not have wrapped they wrapped thoroughly and efficiently. They were able to load and unload our furniture in less than 2 hours, with no damages. I would recommend Julio and Daniel for moving your furniture!

Wow! Fast, professional and extremely careful with our belongings. We had two crews...Jonas and Craig at our storage unit, and Olsen and Luis at our house. Both crews worked non-stop until the job was done. Our family experienced many moves through a Navy career, but these teams were the best that we have encountered. Mehdi helped coordinate my whole move and he was super accommodating when I had a last minute change to my reservation to need them two days earlier! He provided outstanding customer service and always followed up when he promised he would - even after the move he called to make sure the move went smooth! Dominique, Russell, and Jonas were the 3 movers that helped get me from Addison to the SMU area and they were able to knock out my move in exactly 3 hours!! I never saw them standing around or taking their time - they were in a constant hustle - which made me feel awesome knowing I was paying per hour! After being talked into having my pod delivered a day early because of a hurricane- I was left without movers. For several hours I hauled my heavy boxes I meticulously packed back in baltimore. Looking online I came across Community moving. I sent a quote request and was connected to manager Chad. I explained my pickle and he was able to work his magic. Shortly two workers ( father and son) both named ALONZO showed up with a huge truck and they began to haul my heavy items first. I now know - and only now believe good things come in small packages. They picked up my couches, wine refrigerator and bed frame with little effort. They were respectful, fast and took care in what they did. No extra dings to my furniture. Olssen and his team are exceptional. He came in and accessed our needs, told us exactly how many hours we were looking at for packing and moving. It was more than what we had anticipated but the hours were needed as we had a garage full too from parents apartment and downsizing. It turned into a two day project, one day to pack and one to move. Olssen took total control and directed and monitored his team at all times while doing work himself. My only criticism is boxes packed by the team members, other than Olssen, were not marked. Olssen labeled every box he packed including the box with the Coffee Maker. YEAH!!!! We would ABSOLUTELY request Olssen and his team again.

It has been about three months since we moved into our new place. During the move, one of the two movers asked for water and mentioned that he was very hungover from drinking the night before. I thought nothing of it at that point as long as everything went smoothly. It didn't.... When arriving to our new home, that same mover stacked a bedside table and side table (One of my girlfriends favorite pieces of furniture) onto a dolly to bring up our indoor stairs. When approaching the top of the stairs, everything came tumbling down the stairway causing a lot of damage to our walls and causing both tables to break. We weren't too worried about the bedside table because we were planning on selling it soon for very cheap anyways. However, the side table was destroyed and that was very upsetting. Long story short, we received no discount for the damages and we're actually charged for the excess time that we had to deal with that problem. The boss contacted us while they were there and said that they would take the side table with them and repair it and when they brought it back, they would repaint the dented and scratched walls if we got the paint for them from our new complex. He also said this would only take a couple of weeks. I honestly had NO idea how he planned on repairing our table as it was cracked all the way down into two separate pieces. Well here we are three months later and it seems that they weren't very interested in making the situation right because I haven't heard one word from anyone at the company. Seems like they just grabbed their money and ran. Not a great way to do business... at all. I battled myself for a while before leaving a review because I typically hate leaving bad reviews, but I finally decided to just so that no one else has to deal with something similar. Not a happy customer here. I hope the company changes the way they do things.

Horrible, not professional. Used them twice. The first move which wasn't much was a room to storage and they were OK. The second move from my storage to small apartment. They were late, careless because they moved another person that morning. I am missing things and my exercise bike was has a lost nut. Someone loosened it to get out on the patio and didn't need to, didn't tighten it back up. All the moves across country and counties I have done before, never had a problem until this time which was only 10 miles. I suggest to them to not be so greedy and try to fit 2 moves in one Saturday.

We were referred to Community Moving by our Apartment Locators and they were amazing! We were moving into a 5th floor apartment in Dallas, we had a freight elevator for us but it was still a 1 minute walk into the apartment after arriving at the 5th floor. We brought a 10' truck fully loaded and they managed to move everything in an hour and a half. William and Alex did a great job making sure all the furniture was moved carefully so it was not scratched and they were very efficient. I would recommend the Community Movers to my family and friends.

My wife called this company at the beginning of the week. They told her they had time they had time to move us Sunday, so we booked it. Spent the week packing. Everything is in boxes. Sunday comes one of the guys called/texted asking if we are ready. She replied yes. They told her that if they can make it before 2 they would. Well 2 pm comes and we’ve been waiting for them. She calls and asks where they are, they guy told her they have about another 3 hours. They were finishing and then were going to eat. I sat and listened to the guy make excuse after excuse.; elevator, people, having to walk, blah, blah. The guy had the nerve to tell my wife we should not have waited to the last minute to call them. The comment along with the excuses and really most important is no phone call saying they were running behind (especially) when they reached out to my wife twice asking if we we ready. Really!!! I don’t know who the guy was on the other end making excuses, I hope not the owner. This business could learn some customer service skills.

Customer service after the move is nonexistent. If something goes wrong during your move that you would like to speak with the manager about, they will not answer the phone or call you back. The furniture made it safely during the move, but they are very rough with boxes. Pack everything extremely well to avoid fragile items breaking. Very inefficient with time. I have moved several times within the last few years, and the longest move I have endured is 3 hours, including 30-45 minutes of driving time. This move, however, took 4.5 hours, and they only stopped it at that time because I told them I would personally come back and move whatever was left. These movers will take advantage of the fact that you pay them by the hour, so keep an eye on how long they take to "organize the truck." I went outside to check on them when they had not come back in the apartment for about 10 minutes, and one mover was smoking a cigarette while the other was on his phone.

Above all, Joe - the guy in charge was and has been an absolute treasure since the moment we started working with Community. Going above and beyond to take care of any issue whether big or small. I had a mirrored end table glass break ( which are sensitive and i expected something might happen and it wouldn't be resolved ) but Joe came out after hours to pick up the tables have them repaired to perfect condition and brought back. He is so kind and understanding and will literally do anything to help or resolve any issues. Joe is the main reason we will continue to use community moving. I highly recommend using them and calling Joe to book or help with anything
