Always checking on us to make sure we were okay, assuring us all would be well and getting our things from point A to point B without a scratch. We expected a little more from this company given the fact that (1) they are much more expensive than the other movers we talked to and (2) all the rave reviews. They showed up on the appointed day and none of our stuff was completely destroyed in the move, however several pieces of furniture had noticeable damage, they lost (or threw away) the screws/bolts/knobs that previously held most of our furniture together, and they did a number on our new hardwood floors. Plus, when I contacted the main office to see if the movers perhaps forgot to leave behind a bag of furniture parts the office just ignored me. Lastly, they showed up late. This is the kind of service I would expect from a budget moving company, not high end.

On the admin side, Toddy was wonderful to work with & made the whole moving process be as simple & seamless for us as he possibly could. Milan & Q, our actual movers, were incredibly diligent in seeing that our furniture was perfectly wrapped and packed in the truck as safely as possible. Such great movers! This is my second time using MoveOn and I will definitely use them again if I move again! Was super impressed with these guys. I had Lamont, Omar and Don moving my furniture today and was blown away with their skills and speed. They wrapped all my furniture for protection and were incredibly responsible with moving it from one house to the next. They always made sure to ask what room the furniture was going in and if it was in the correct spot. THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY! PLEASE DO NOT USE THEM!! The company is very dishonest. They just tell you what to sign without any explanation of what you are signing and the print is so small it would be very hard to read. The team of movers I had were very slow, careless, and most were very unprofessional. I had broken furniture, lost pieces to some furniture and damaged items. My mattress looked like they intentionally dragged it through grass and dirt. I had to clean it throughly before I could go to bed. We were treated very wrong and perhaps it was because we are older. The company was promptly contacted. They didn’t even say “I am sorry”. Their insurance claim provider was contacted. What they offered was a joke. We will be contacting the Better Bussiness Bureau and others. Please save yourself from a lot of loss and trouble by NOT using this company.

We just moved our son back from Chattanooga to the Nashville area after graduation. We chose Move On due to the positive reviews and I can say they are absolutely right! Big Tre and Darius drove the truck from Nashville to Chattanooga, fought through the traffic both ways and remained happy and positive despite needing to move an entire apartment's worth of furniture down 3 flights of stairs. In addition, they took great care of all of our belongings, covering each one carefully as they knew these were going straight to storage. They wanted to make sure our furniture was protected while in the storage unit. They went way over and above my expectations! I couldn't have asked for a better experience and will choose Move On again in the future. They have definitely earned my trust.

We could not have been more pleased with our Move On experience! Booking was a breeze, the price was very reasonable, and the team was professional and efficient. We received a confirmation call the day before our scheduled move, and then an additional 30-minute out phone call the morning of our move. Tre, Mondarius, and JJ arrived on time and ready to go! They met with us for a few minutes to plan out their packing strategy and then got to work. They were friendly, speedy, and just overall very pleasant to work with on what was an exhausting multi-floor move for us. They moved everything to our new home while being very careful of the new floors, walls, and carpet. They even came in 30-minutes under our scheduled duration slot for the move. I CAN NOT recommend Darius and Trey from Move On Moving Co. enough!!!! We moved my mom from her home of over 40 yrs into an assisted living facility today. Needless to say, it was a long, emotional and stressful couple of days. "Moving Day" loomed out there like a feared operation...filled with uncertainty and anxiety. Darius and Trey arrived right on time. Came in the house, introduced themselves to my mom and began talking to her like they'd gone to school with us kids. They were beyond professional and kind during the madness of friends and family coming and going. They moved the typical casual pieces of coffee tables and sofas. They also moved an antique 8' wood and glass secretary and a 100 yr old desk with the same care they would move their own mother's cherished heirlooms. The whole time gingerly avoiding a low hanging antique chandelier in the foyer. They kindly smiled following me from room to room as I added random pieces to the move hours after our initial walk through. As a Realtor, I've been involved in hundreds of moves with countless movers. I would never consider having anyone but Trey and Darius move my own mother to her new home. This is a mediocre moving company at BEST. I would challenge any management personnel to contact me personally regarding the damages we incurred during our move. I just received the settlement claim from the insurance company on all furniture pieces and they are offering a measly $38.40. What joke for an insurance settlement. BE WARNED AND RESEARCH THE TYPE OF DAMAGE INSURANCE YOU AGREE TO BEFORE YOU MOVE AND STAY AWAY FROM MOVEON. In the end, We had several pieces of furniture damaged during our move. Had a hutch and TV stand scratched, scuffed, and indentions. Also had a new leather recliner scratched and scuffed--these pieces were less than 1 year old and purchased from Sprintz Furniture. Lastly, they severely dented the top of the dryer by stacking items on top while it was being transported. Just forgot they also damaged the wall while moving into the new home. I understand they get good reviews, but I specifically contracted for a 3 man crew to assist with the move and make it easier on the crew. Unfortunately, I did not get the service I contracted for. Damaged furniture for sure. My name is Johnny V and would challenge any management personnel to reach out to me regarding an updated settlement regarding this review. Good Luck, but you should definitely shop around and ask questions regarding the damage contract you agree upon.

The team at Move On is outstanding!! Toddy, one of the owners, came to our house to look at the contents, answered all my questions and explained their system. Between his visit and the move, he was always quick to answer other questions and concerns. Scheduling a date was easy and the crew arrived promptly. Tre, Q and Sam worked quickly but more important, carefully. There was no bad language and they were very polite. Every piece was padded and plastic wrapped. Upon arrival at the new home, the care and attention to detail continued. They even padded the door and entryway. There wasn't a single bit of damage to our furniture or walls. We had to do a small second move a few months later to bring the "staging furniture" to the new house. I requested the same men and they made the experience just as great as the first move. Using Move On gave us an absolutely stress-free experience ---- twice! They are an A+ gem in an industry where service and quality counts.

I talked to numerous companies and out of all of them, Move On was the friendliest on the phone and had straightforward pricing w/o hidden fees, which I really liked. They're also a LOCAL Nashville moving company...not a franchise, which was a big factor (nice to be able to knock on a door if an issue comes up). Our movers arrived on time and were incredibly efficient. Didn't think you could move heavy oak furniture that fast without hitting dinging the walls. Super impressed. They damaged my flat screen TV, and took almost twice as long to move items than estimated (SO be prepared$$$$$). This was in June so I know they were busy but we paid a good sum of money for a pretty simple move of a total of 11 pieces of furniture and, only 3 of which required assembly. 15 miles in distance and one trip. Then they forgot most of the TV mounting equipment. I'm just not very happy with your service up to this point because I had to initiate follow up regarding the damage they caused to one of the items.

I did however have a incident with with them hitting my main power line at my new house. It did quite a bit of damage. The way Toddy and his company handled the situation was by far the best I have ever seen. They had Lee Company come out and fix everything in a very timely manner. I can not say enough good things about this company. The crew they sent out (Tre, Chris & Steve) were awesome. I hope to never have to use them again but if I do move I will definitely use MOVE ON! From the moment I spoke to Brice to make the arrangements for my move to the time I watched the truck pull out of my drive couldn't have gone any more smoothly. The movers were on time with a call before hand to say they were on their way. Everything was moved with care and nothing was broken. The lead mover came with a spark in his step & never slowed down till the last piece of furniture was in place. The two fellows were polite, courteous and had positive attitudes throughout the day. If I had to make another move I would not hesitate to call Move On to do the job for me.

I cannot say enough good things about Move On, but here are two things that really stood out to me: 1. They really did go out of their way to carefully pad / shrink-wrap everything before loading the truck. When they say they treat everything as though they were heirlooms from your grandmother, they really mean it. 2. I was really impressed with how polite the movers were. They even offered to pick up lunch for us while they stepped away for a quick lunch break!

They are extremely thoughtful in the placement of the boxes (making unpacking easier), even found out where to put my bike in the my new apartment complex and hung it up for me! A few weeks ago I helped a friend with his move using another service he hired. That crew whined about stairs, complained about "heavy furniture" not to mention the hidden charges they popped him with. The same 3 man crew packed up our 3 bedroom apartment and moved us the next day. Let's face it moving sucks but when you use MoveOn they make it as absolutely as easy as possible on you and your family. Just a quick back story to explain my situation, my son had just been born and was in the NICU and my wife was still in the hospital. We found out that they both were coming home on the same day which was great news except that was the same day we were closing on our house and moving! As you can imagine I was beyond stressed but when I reached out to Toddy with MoveOn he eased my mind. The guys at MoveOn turned what would've been a logistical nightmare into a beautiful day because they made it possible for my wife and new baby boy to come home to our new house.
