Movers came to the storage facility to move in a customer we had, There was 3 guys, And 1 guy in Particular was very rude, He couldn't get with The rules and procedure that every customer has to follow here, and to top it off was very very very rude, I couldn't believe the customer service skills were lacking so badly. Had to be told more than 5 times that his attitude and rudeness wouldn't be accepted. Even their own customer came into the office and were wondering why he was being so rude and complaining. and apologized on his behalf, So sad when the customers have to come in and apologize for their movers attitude.

Horrible experience! I think they literally hire ex-cons to move your stuff. The driver just picks up random people in every town. Very concerning when you have small children. The movers threw our items in the garage. A few things were broken. We found boxes labeled “garage” in guest bedroom. Boxes labeled “ kitchen” were in our backyard. Basically none of our boxes were in the correct spaces. It has taken more time to move everything around than it would have to do everything ourselves. They griped and griped about having to put our beds together. They lost several screws. The driver told me he would give me $20 to go buy new screws. They put my baby’s crib together incorrectly which could have been very dangerous had I not checked. It was a complete disaster. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Seamless. Excellent job from start to finish. Worked primarily with Sue and Jimmie (crew lead). After spending 20 years in the military and dealing with disastrous moves with the lowest cost carriers, it was absolutely refreshing to deal with a team that cared and who were consummate professions. My wife actually said, “Jimmie and his movers treated our stuff better than we do.” Definitely recommend to anyone. Will use again.

VERY disappointed in my service with you all. My mother and I used your moving company and didn't receive our belongings until a month and 5 days after even though we were guaranteed a fast move with a contract. After wearing the same clothes for a month received our belongings broken and scratched up. My brand new headboard was broken. 2 of our dinning room table chairs were broken in half. You would think after all the hassle we would have received a discount but we did not! We instead received rude customer service. Finally after saying enough is enough, we asked to speak the owner and they still have not called us back. You would think after giving someone $10,000 worth of business they would at least bring your items on time, not damaged, and have good customer service. Sadly, this company is very unprofessional and I would never recommend this to my worst enemy!! I'm very upset!!

I had a horrific job at my origin destination in NYC and they made up for it and then some for the delivery and unloading process here in Memphis. During a time of great stress Guardian Moving took much of it away. The office staff was courteous and very willing to accommodate my wishes. The movers were prompt. They called to say they were on the way and got to work immediately when they were shown what to move. They took great care of my furniture, picture, and huge wall mirror. This is one of the worst moving company I have ever seen. I engaged Guardian Moving Systems for my move from NJ to NC. They agreed for the price 1050 for my entire move. At pick up ,they increased the price by 300. After 4 days delivery has been scheduled. On delivery day, they called me and increased the price by 750 saying all silly stories.All together , they doubled the price which I didn't agree. The management was very rude and unprofessional. They threatened me that if you don't pay we don't deliver. They came to my place for delivery and when I was talking to management on price , the delivery guy took a signature from me on delivery sheet that they are going to start delivery. When I went inside my home to get the check. They said they take only cash or money order. I was questioning them on that and went inside my home to get cash. The delivery people fled with truck without delivering my stuff. I tried to call truck driver, Guardian management. No one answered my phone. After some time one of the rude manager called me and threatened that I signed on delivery sheet you can't do anything . What a sucker the Guarding Moving Systems is.. I don't recommend this for anyone. I will never go for this in my life.

This was without a doubt the worst experience of my 72 years. The company quoted one price and as soon as the truck was loaded the price almost doubled and we had to give them a check for 3/4 of that price. We watched the driver write down the unload date of January 22nd on the form. On the way to Florida we tried in vain to reach someone to find out the status of our delivery. All we could get was recorded messages that they are allowed to keep our belongings for 21 business days. When we finally got a body to speak with all they would say was that we will be contacted. We ended up spending 9 days and nights in a vacant house and when the truck finally arrived many items were broken. That was after we had to pay cash for the rest of the shipment before unloading. No insurance was offered, there was virtually no communication. Probably, in my opinion, the worst moving company on the planet. We sincerely wish there was a negative rating system.

They also helped us pack some delicate items. The total fee was exactly as quoted with no surprises, and very reasonable. Highly recommend.

I didn't even get far enough with this company to schedule a move. I filled out an inventory list online a couple of weeks ago and requested a move from Ohio to Texas. I received a call from the company today and the lady asked when I wanted to move. I gave her a different date from my inventory list because I had to push my move back 2 weeks. After I gave her the official date, inventory, and addresses, she said they could have a fleet come move my things for $1500. The problem is that they were trying to bring a truck out 2 weeks earlier than what I said. I told her that was not the date that I wanted my things moved and that wouldn't work for me. She placed me on hold and some guy came on the line saying he was the manager. He told me he could give me a discount and take $200 off the price if I moved when they had a truck available. I told him they should be able to work around my schedule and that would not work for me. He then told me that he could come out to move my things on the date I wanted but I had to put a deposit down now to lock in the price. I told him that I would like to receive an email with a break down of the fees and read over the fine print. He told me he sent the email and I could look it over while I was on the phone with him. I told him that would not work. He then asked if he could call me back in 30 minutes to set up payment. I told him I wanted at least a day to look everything over and he said "Fine!" and hung up on me. It seems as though they just want to make a quick buck. I would recommend going to another company.

I wish I could rate this company as 0 stars. I contacted them to for a long distance move from NJ to CA for a 1 bedroom apt. Their quote was reasonable on the phone of $2000 and informed that it will arrive on the date requested. On arrival to NJ, they requoted me an additional $1000 which was ok given the amount of items. After they loaded the truck, they told me it was actually $4700 and they can take off $300 for a total of $4400. The driver initially wouldn't give me another contact, he told me that instead of 70% down, he would take $1000 and call the company on Monday to dispute it. After a couple of hours of back and forth, they agreed with the initial quote on arrival. Furthermore, sales told me 50% of arrival, and the company is saying 70%. On pick up the driver said i can use credit and billing would get in touch with me to pay and it has now been 4 days and no calls. i have personally called on monday and tuesday and I still can't get anybody to take payment. My belongings are now sitting in storage in NJ and nobody can tell me how to pay and if this is going to delay delivery date. I AM LIVID. I cancelled a different moving company because this company came in cheaper and guaranteed me delivery date. I WILL never use this company again nor ever recommend them. I am a part of a network of constant travelers and I guarantee that they will not be used by any of us again. DO NOT USE!! I'ld rather pay a different company more than deal with them again.

Experienced movers run by a highly experienced owner. My wife and I have used Guardian for all our moves since 2013. Moving back from Europe, two more domestic moves since then and our friends have used them for their moves. My parents relocated and downsized after 45 years and there was only one company I would trust to handle their things-Guardian. You won’t find a company run with more integrity. Whether a local move in the Mid-South area or across the country- Guardian is the way to go. It’s also nice to know that even if you did have a problem along the way, you would be able to speak to the owner of the company and he will make things right. That’s some great peace of mind.

I used their company to move all of my stuff from Nashville to Memphis. I used one of their 16' SAM containers for about 5 rooms worth of furniture! It was the best experience I've ever had moving! They delivered on time and since it was a container, I was able to take my time loading it. Which relieved a lot of the stress that I normally get when moving. Then I called them and they came to pick it up and deliver it to my new home. It was such a smooth process! I cannot rave enough about how friendly and accommodating they were. Their prices were better than the other moving companies I looked up and thankfully they didn't bog me down with a bunch of extra fees (like most moving companies). I highly recommend this company!!

The packers and loaders were awesome, but the customer service dispatcher was a DEVIL. Her name is Mariona...She is rude and disrespectful. Starting with her first phone call to the last phone call she never had any respect for me as her customer. I hope the owners are aware of her behavior, because it is complete unacceptable. I tried to call the owner, Owen Vance, but Mariona keeps answering the phone and will not transfer me to him. I will continue to call until I speak to the owner to make his aware of her behavior. The loaders and packers did a fabulous job and they apologized for having to deal with such low levels of respect. I appreciate their level of professionalism and would like to give them ***** 5 STARS for their performance. They packed the boxes neat and in an organized manner. If it was possible I would give zero stars. The worst experience with this company two days ago. Mariona from the office staff is the rudest and most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with. Completely disrespectful and unhelpful. She told the packers Guardian sent to leave all of our items that are stored in pods outside of the pods in a warehouse. This would have left all of our items unsecured. When I asked the packers what I was supposed to do in getting my items back into the pods, they said “Mariona said we ain’t getting paid to put it back in.” Absolutely unbelievable. I fired the packers on the spot after they told me that. This was after they took over an hour lunch while I stayed at the moving site. Then they couldn’t do anything because it was “raining” it sprinkled rain for 15 mins. They were there for 4 1/2 hours and maybe moved 2-4 boxes. They mostly sat in the truck looking at their phones. After I told them I didn’t need their services, the work crew continued to stay at the warehouse sitting in their truck for another hour pretending to work so they could finish up their shift.

My company used them to move me they broke my treadmill and offered me settlement 2 weeks later and 200 phones calls they took the written offer from $700 down to $300! I would never recommend them to anyone Mrs. Lawson, It has been two business days since my last communication with you. My supervisor has to approve my request for your check and it has to be processed in accounts payable. This process usually takes 7-10 business days. I have forwarded the report and the photos to my supervisor, so I'm sure he will see what I see and approve the request. Again, the check is going to be mailed to Ron @ Weathersby Guild, so when he receives it, he will call you to deliver the check and pick up the broken treadmill.

A new employer gave me a professional opportunity that included relocating halfway across the country. Having an established home with belongings I value and unique pieces that needed relocating, I was concerned about accepting the offer solely based on the move aspect. After the first time I spoke with Sue Luebeck from Guardian Moving Systems all of these concerns were erased and my career change took motion. Sue was incredible. She was always in contact and made herself available even when I was stressed over issues not worthy of stress. She was patient, listened and acted upon concerns, always followed through on commitments, and all schedules she arranged were kept by all involved. One step further, Sue was to assist in moving a special vehicle for me, to simply establish contact with another company. The company did not uphold their communications or schedules however Sue dedicated time ensuring they completed their responsibilities, communicated with me all of their agreed upon time commitments, and followed up with me so this part of my move went smoothly also. None of this was hers to do but she was right there for me, no hesitation, and always a positive voice taking care of me. The Team Sue arranged to pack and load my "life" were such hard working, polite gentlemen who were so respectful and careful with my belongings there was no doubt my household would arrive safely and undamaged. They worked very hard, in hot and humid conditions, yet never a negative word out of their mouths and smiles the entire time. Once my household was on the road Sue gave me status updates and when everything reached it's destination Sue immediately called to let me know all arrived safely. I sincerely can not even imagine having moved 1700 miles without Sue being the person who took care of all that means so much to me - those things in my life that make my house a home.
