Coleman Allied helped me move my stuff home from college and I am going off to Mississippi State next semester and they will definitely be moving me again. Top Notch Service!!!

Cory Nelson

Moved from Middle TN to Southwest Florida and couldn't have done it without the great service provided by Lanai with Coleman. Additionally the driver kept in contact with me the entire time so I knew when to expect him. Highly recommend.

Horrible cross-country move experience. After signing the contract, the sales person wouldn't return my calls. Movers arrived 5 days later than promised. Bought insurance and submitted a claim for broken items, but Coleman wouldn't honor this because we packed the items ourselves (and they wouldn't refund our insurance payment). Avoid.

Coleman Worldwide Moving came to our rescue and packed and moved our belongings to storage on very short notice saving our house sale. From their sales rep to the packers and movers - hardworking employees all. So grateful for Coleman!

Absolute Jerks ---From Nashville to Orange Park (Jacksonville, FL). David Voyles was not obtainable when needed with issues. He was our coordinator on move that happened on April 06 2018. Thee crew did show up on time but they did not coordinate or pack anything in sequence and rooms were in boxes not marked correctly or loaded on right. Blankets were filthy and things were wrapped loose and when in the truck were damaged and some items were rare antiques and severely damaged including three wall clocks and two mantle clocks required service. Tables, sofa, three rare pieces of art, Hendedon and Theodore Alexander table destroyed. A watch, clock parts, a gold ring and some small electronics, hand and power tools lost or stolen. Even a 24' new fiberglass ladder by Werner. When I filed a claim I only received 1/6 of the damage and left me over $7000 in the hole. I found later on and even now, over 50 of my reel to reel studio tapes were destroyed due to heat from staying in the truck longer than it was supposed to. These were marked SPECIAL CARE> BS FOLKS!!! I am not a fool, I have informed many in both cities to stay away from this company and will make it a goal in my life to do so. The claims department was rude and treated me like dirt. I am a mild mannered fellow but I do not believe in getting spit on. Coleman Allied left me in financial distress as I had to replace so much. They even damaged my walls, floor thresholds and more in the new house and in Nashville I had to get door trim replaced and walls were marked up as I had to get a handyman in from the real estate agent. BBB is my next stop. Be fair warned about these people. They are out for themselves and nothing else. Also the crew looked like day laberours and not professionals. The team foreman acted like a thug. I can say more but have been angry since the day of the move. This is not a fake complaint. I have photos of all the damage and paperwork to prove it.

good part time job if you are a professional mover

Our movers were very unprofessional and rude. I did about 85% of the packing for them and they STILL forgot several items. The men were very loud and not respectful when in our home. Will never recommend this company.

Coleman Worldwide made moving easy. Thank you

Worst movers ever. Bad from the beginning. The "salesman" took down erroneous information during his visit - even though we called and confirmed - and showed up on moving day with too few trucks and too small of a crew. The "professional" moving crew must have been hired that morning from the nearest street corner. We've had furniture moved all over the country, multiple times, and even used the independent hired loading/unloading crews. We have never had this much damaged furniture until we used these amateurs. If you value your possessions, I recommend you use ANYONE but these hacks!

The sales agent who visited our house was very helpful and taught us many tips for packing and protecting our move. Even though the moving cost was out of our budget the tips Coleman’s sale agent gave helped tremendously and we would recommend them for any move needs.

After experiencing stressful and disappointing moves over the years, my husband and I were dreading the idea of relocating halfway across the country. We’d had our share of bait and switch schemes—low-ball estimates leading to last minute add-ones and jacked-up charges charges— lack of professionalism, inexperienced crews, poor communication, loss and breakage. So, when we called Paul for an estimate, we were not prepared for the level of knowledge, experience and friendly professionalism he brought to the process. From the moment he starting calculating the size and cost, until his final check-in call the week after our move was finished, Paul made sure we were informed and ok about each step. There were no surprises, no missed deadlines, no delays, no hidden costs. The team he put together for us was just a wonderful. Everyone knew what was going on and were ready to answer questions. They also looked out for us with good packing advice and timely reminder emails and texts. The driver and his guys at each point were amazing. Walid was the most professional driver and crew manager I’ve ever met. Everything was as Paul promised. No surprises, no delays, no hidden charges, and no loss or breakage! And everyone was nice! In the middle of unpacking my husband and I talked about how were not suffering any of the usual post-move trauma and how it made the transition a happier one. We have already given Paul contact’s info to friends planning a move and will continue to highly recommend him.

WORST MOVE EVER. If I could give negative stars, I would. Bottom line--choose this moving company if you want all of your stuff thrown into a box, broken, and also lost. They also attempted to deliver a few items to me that weren't actually mine. On top of that, when I had a complaint at the destination, I was told a general manager would call me the next day to 'help.' That never happened either. I had so many broken (shattered, not just a dent here and there) that I require a whole other page to list everything damaged. They put tape directly on the furniture finish when wrapping it up. They didn't use packing material to wrap delicate glass items. Papers were randomly thrown in a box with clothes and shoes and glass. This was all destroyed. On top of that, over 10 boxes were badly crushed at delivery. Wood items looked like they were dropped on the ground multiple times. There was absolutely no respect or care given to my belongings. Lastly, 5 boxes are now missing including all of my clothing. Not only was the service horrible but this moving company has done nothing to attempt to fix the problem. Do not hire this moving company unless you want everything damaged and you also don't want to be reimbursed for any of it.

I’d give them less if I could! Don’t ever use a Coleman affiliate of Allied. Different story every time you talk to someone about your furniture. They way overbooked there load vs. driver availability and just simply say over and over “it’s our busy season.” If I conducted my business this way I’d be out of business. After days of not even having a driver scheduled to our load that we booked over a month ago (and not being told we didn’t have a driver which that info alone would have been a big help to us) we were finally told Monday afternoon our load would be delivered Wednesday morning even though it’s been in Nashville since Sunday morning. NOW we just received a call basically saying “oops sorry can’t do it even on Wednesday has to wait until Thursday.” Completely unacceptable, please don’t use Coleman, save yourself!

Mark Grissom

My rating is based only on my interaction with Paul (as I eventually decided to do the move myself, but that is not necessarily a reflection of my feelings towards the company). Paul came to my house to give a free estimate on moving my family. He was nothing but polite, courteous, informative, and enthusiastic. I definitely appreciated that. Paul also continued to follow up with me following our visit and I appreciated that he did that as the other companies seemed less interested in getting my business.

We had a bad experience with a previous local moving company, so we felt we would be safe using a worldwide moving company like Coleman Allied. We just inherited a house full of antiques from my mother-in-law's estate. I personally moved these same antiques from Louisville, KY to Goodlettsville, TN and then two years later to Gallatin, TN without breaking one of them. I was assured by David Voyle, after taking a tour of our home, that it would not be a problem moving from Gallatin, TN to Springfield, TN (30 miles). He said they would carefully wrap everything. Well, much to our chagrin, over 25 items were damaged, one antique was was never found, and the costs of restoration from an antique restorer were close to $4000. Coleman Allied offered us a whopping $800 dollars for all of our damaged antiques. What kind of insurance coverage pays 60 cents a pound for damage? This means my weight set would have brought more than our 200 year old grandfather clock!! This is on top of the final bill being $2000 more than what was quoted. The moving process also took 3 days. The men were polite and very kind ... unfortunately their kindness did not protect extremely valuable antiques. Now they are forcing me into arbitration and I am getting our attorney involved. Coleman Allied would probable be a good choice if you were moving bricks. I guess there is no mover that cares for your things like you would. I'm not a complainer and am very sorry I had to write this.

Great communication from start of move process till my belongings were delivered safe and sound. Would recommend their moving services and use them on my next relocation.

I worked with Paul Rubinsak. He was personable and very professional! I highly recommend him and the business to anyone getting ready to move.

Our move was a mix of good works, missed deadlines and ditches. The moving day was a day late because truck got stuck and they had to abort until next day. The moving crew did an excellent job of moving out the furniture, etc. as did the packers when they packed. The missed deadline occurred at other end-our guaranteed delivery date was missed by three days because driver had to pickup another load before proceeding to our destination. When truck arrived at destination, the driver found out that the unloading crew was in a different city thus delaying off-loading. Our goods survived in mostly good condition.

We are in the middle of a very large move (9,000sq ft home) & this is the worst move EVER & we have moved every 1-2 years Corporately all over the world! I have complained to everyone, written emails & now I give up. It is what is it is!

If you need extra stress and headaches during your move, by all means call Coleman. The only reason I rated two stars is because the packing and loading crew (a subcontractor) were very nice and accommodating, even though they did break a few things. The Coleman sales and corporate people, I would give ONE star. The overall process I rate as a 2/5. 1) When David Voyles came to our home, he assured me they could pack us one day, load the next and deliver on the third day. He also told me several other things that weren't true....he is a SALESman, very likable, but provides NO customer service. 2) We were told three packers would be there on the first day and stay until things were packed. Two packers showed up around 8:30 and left at 12:30 for a doctor's appointment. Everything was finally packed on the third day. 3) When I asked about additional insurance, we were told we couldn't get the insurance because some items were already loaded on the truck. The contract states that insurance can be selected at the time the customer signs the bill of lading, which isn't even available until everything is inventoried and loaded into the truck. It took several calls to corporate to get that straightened out....added stress for no reason. 4) On the way to the new house, the truck got stuck because the driver didn't follow my directions. That required a wrecker...more delays. Then the truck (a semi, which was not needed to start with) couldn't make the turn into our street. So they had to park in a restaurant parking lot, unload into a smaller truck, and shuttle to our house, which basically means they moved everything (and risked damage) twice. 5) Broken items included a hand-painted margarita glass we received as a wedding gift, my office desk and a tile from our fire pit, which we cannot match. I know accidents happen, so the breakages weren't nearly as disappointing as the shoddy service we received from the Coleman office. That should tell you all you need to know.

Left us high and dry on moving day. Said they couldn’t find their driver! Wow terrible company that really put us in a horrible situation.

I highly recommend Paul Rubinsak at Coleman Nashville. Paul provides excellent service, and leverages his complete understanding of the entire moving process to ensure you have a smooth move.

Paul was great! Traffic in this town can be so unpredictable and he called right away to let us know he was running a tad behind. When he did arrive, he was very professional. He made his time in our home short and sweet and was able to get everything onto his list in a very timely manner. He also gave us great advice regarding the packing, loading and transportation.

We moved from Nolensville, TN to Interlochen, MI (northern lower Michigan) with Coleman Allied and they were unprofessional, rude, and late. They delivered LATE and when we called on Sunday to figure out where the moving truck was (we had been promised Sunday delivery) the receptionist at the corporate office told me to call Customer Service which was only open M-F. Needless to say I asked to talk to her supervisor and she transfered me to voicemail. They were just just HORRIBLE. On the plus side were the moving crews. They WERE professional and speedy.

In November 2014, Coleman American in Nashville was hired by the Army to pack my household goods and put a large portion of them into non-temporary storage while I moved overseas. When the movers got to the garage, my husband explicitly requested that his toolbox be unpacked, inventoried by item, and stored empty with the tools packed in boxes. This request was declined and he was advised that it was company policy to lock the box and pack it full. Though upset and worried that his tools would disappear, we proceeded as advised. In July 2017, when we moved back stateside and the non-temporary storage goods were delivered to our new home, the toolbox and all of the tools were missing. We called the Nashville location and spoke with Mr. David Reichenau, who flippantly recommended we 'just file a claim.' My husband advised him that if we did, the claim would likely be for over $15,000, as this was not 'just a set of wrenches,' my husband is a mechanic who had accumulated quite a collection of tools over the course of a decade working for several large companies. David back-pedaled and asked us to give him a few days to look for the box. We did. After a week, and checking with David that the box had not been located, we created an itemized inventory of the box (from memory, as the movers would not comply with our request to inventory the box before storing it); the contents were valued over $16,000 and filed a claim. Their claims agent offered us $1,000 for our loss two months later. I countered for the full amount and received no response for over another month. At that point, I transferred the claim to the Military Claims Office. In December, the MCO called with amazing news that Coleman had found our toolbox and were making it a high priority for shipping/delivering. Once again, we were given David's name as the point of contact. I contacted David and he advised that they were hoping to get us the item by Christmas. I was elated. He said he would be in touch when they had a truck lined up so we would have a timeline for delivery, but if I hadn't heard from him in three days to call him back. Three days past with no contact, so I called. David seemed surprised that I had not heard anything and said he would check into it and call me back. Two days passed and I had not heard from David, so I called again. Again surprised that I'd not heard from someone, he said he would check into it and call me back. We did this a few more times, David never returning a call when he said he would and me being as pleasant as possible throughout. Finally, David stopped answering the phone when I would call. My husband was able to get through to a different manager. He was told last week that the toolbox left their location in a truck 1-2 weeks prior and they would give the truck our contact information so we would have an estimated date of arrival. Today, they have no update except further promises to return calls.

Great customer service from start to finish. Quality and efficiency of their work was on point. Great attitude and kindness was recieved immediately from this crew. Impressed with their quickness and their attention to detail. However I do have one little reminder to advise always bring boxes and be on time any situation. The seller Paul was very professional and very attentive to our needs and provided us with a great price for our move. That said, Thank you to everyone for outstanding service.

For our move to Utah from Tennessee, we had initially been assigned agents from another moving company. The lack of guidance and adequate communication lead to misunderstandings and delays in moving. Paul Rubinsak was then assigned to us. From the time Paul surveyed our belongings, there were no problems whatsoever! Our move was accomplished in less than 2 weeks. I highly recommend Paul and his team at Coleman. Leann Price checked to insure that everything was coordinated and perfect at each step of the process. Mark and Tina Matthews orchestrated the packing, moving, delivery and unloading. I was treated as family, and all of our possessions were packed moved and delivered as if they belonged to them! Paul promised my move would be effortless and he was correct. Paul, Markand Tina, and Leann are true professionals, placing the customer first. All of the packers and movers were courteous, personable, professional, and meticulous in their tasks. Again I heartily endorse these superb professionals from Coleman Allied. Thank you Paul, Mark and Tina for a wonderful moving experience!

Absolutely horrible go to there warehouse to pick up a shipment have been here for over an hour waiting while the person that is suppose to be in the office is outside loading a truck only to stand around and talk for 25 minutes after he loads the truck then we go inside and wait for another 20 to 25 minutes only to be told we will get to you when we can and there have been people in and out of the office constantly.... absolutely ridiculous oh and this has all gone on after they already cancelled on us yesterday 5 minutes before we were leaving

Please, please, please read ALL the Nashville reviews before contracting with Coleman/Allied. Everything previous reviewers have written is TRUE and happened to us in our cross country move from Tennessee to Wisconsin. Here is a brief summary: 1. Smooth talking salesman presents rosy moving picture..ok, sounds good..acceptable quote..let's do this, where do I sign. 2. Scheduled packers arrive 9:40 am with semi trailer, packed and loaded about 1/3 of our household goods, left at 5:00pm. 3. No one from company came the next day. Told they had other people to take care of and that I had not packed all I said I would. 4. Came next day in much smaller truck (our goods unloaded/loaded)about 11:00am. 5. Finished loading our goods, as new owners were moving in. Horrible, chaotic experience. 6. Movers arrived at new house 5 days later, at 9:30am. Finished unloading at 9:30pm. Had to have family members assist or it would have been an additional 4 hours. 10. Broken antiques including German wall clock, bookcase and crystal creamer. 11. Finally, there are LOST items. A 6' ladder and 2 beveled glass shelves to hutch. What else is missing? No response from this company.

The salesman made this entire experience very smooth. Moving is very stressful, but Paul’s guys were professional took care of all out equipment very well and got us packed and loaded in the semi in one day! When our equipment and Furnature arrived it was all in the same shape and condition thanks Paul and Coleman.

We have moved 7 times in the past 10 years. Our move with Coleman-Allied was hands-down the worst experience we have ever had to endure. From packing to unloading, this was the single worst moving experience we have ever had and we plan to share our horrible experience with every person we know to prevent other families from experiencing the nightmare move this company provided. While I don’t have time to outline each and every awful component of the move, below are a series of highlights. -There is a major gap between the items salesperson, Jim Rhoades, said we needed to hire a third-party service for what the movers would actually pack or put together. My husband had to removed and pack 5 TVs at the 11th hour because of this miscommunication. Additionally, our $4,000 elliptical still sits in pieces because Jim said we didn’t need a third party service for that item but the movers couldn’t get it into our current basement and weren’t capable or willing to dissemble and reassemble the arms to get it in the appropriate space. -Anna VanderWoude, our so-called moving coordinator, failed to do even her most basic job of direct billing my husband’s company, even though she was given the appropriate contact information WEEKS before the move. She called us THE DAY of the move, gave a weak apology and asked us to pay the full 13k fee. Anna said the movers wouldn’t begin to unload our possessions unless we put the fee on our personal credit card. -The move took over 3 days because of insufficient planning. At 8pm on day 2 of the move, our driver realized that all of our items wouldn’t fit and said he would have to come back first thing in the morning with an additional truck. This caused me to miss both of my son’s end of the year class parties, their last event with their friends because I was waiting for the driver who didn’t arrive until after 10 am. From 8am-10am I collected over 65 spare flat pack boxes, 25 moving blankets, 5 packed boxes and a slew of tape, trash and others left strewn around my home. -When our items were finally unloaded, they came in two shipments, two days apart. The crew was visibly scatter and verbally upset that the load had been unloaded in the warehouse and they were certain where multiple pieces were left. Jim Rhoades, had previously assured me that our items would NOT be unloaded from our trucks. -The final day of the move was complete chaos. The hardware for the pool table was missing. My washing machine was visibly damaged and contained no knob. Hardware seemed to be missing from all furniture and I spent my entire day trying to track down poorly packed or missing hardware. It has been over 3 weeks since the move and I still can’t wash my family’s laundry because my 2 year old washing machine is completely broken. My basement living room, which we’re using as a kitchen during a renovation, is unsafe and barely usable because of the unassembled pool table that takes up the majority of the space. We have over $7,000 in damaged, missing or stolen items. We have emailed, called and completed all necessary claims. NO ONE from the Nashville or corporate offices have emailed or called us about making the necessary repairs or to even utter an apology for the horrific service we received. We are now pursuing legal action against the negligent company of Coleman-Allied. Please DO NOT use this company, as they are dishonest, unresponsive, and could care less about their customers.

They did an outstanding job moving us to Las Vegas! Top rating!! Contact Paul who coordinated our move and was fantastic!!!
