This was my first move with Bellhops, and I've moved 20 times with various companies, some good, some great, some terrible. Bellhops wasn't a great experience. The billing was not explained and was very confusing. You aren't told there is a separate driver for the truck until the email comes the day before the move introducing your bellhops. None of the furniture is wrapped in your house, it's all wrapped on the truck, so you never see how well it's actually protected and I had a couple of pieces with damage. I asked for my dining table to be loaded first and they took it out and left it sitting unwrapped on the wheel well of the truck, where it had a gouge taken out of it. I also had a wood bookcase with damage. We haven't unpacked yet so don't know if I'll find anything else. The company also put an almost $800 hold on my checking account, tying up all my money, which didn't make me happy. I was told by the lead bellhop, Alex, I'd get an email soon after they left to finalize payment so expected it within 30 minutes. Two hours later I hadn't received it so called was sent a screen shot of what my charges were supposed to be, which was $200 less than the bill I got almost 24 hours later. I called again and was given an adjustment on my bill for all the issues. The only reason I gave the company 2 stars was because of the speed and hard work of the guys (even though they did damage a couple of pieces of furniture it was fairly minor in the grand scheme), the friendliness of the driver, and the final customer service agent. Bellhops was recommended by one of my clients, but I would not recommend them myself.

Fantastic experience from start to finish! PJ A. helped me set up and plan for my upcoming move, Nicholas S., Karim D., and Kewisi S. started my move day off in Atlanta. The guys were stellar- punctual, friendly, and took great care of my belongings (especially some important pieces that I pointed out!) walking them down three flights of stairs and loading them into the truck. I met up with Alex P., Corbin B, and James G. in Chattanooga where they unloaded my belongings into my new space. They were just as friendly, attentive, and all around wonderful to work with as the Atlanta team. The Chattanooga crew reassembled all of my furniture (including an especially tricky piece), helped me stage and rearrange furniture, and were just great guys in general. These seven guys made an out of state move an absolute breeze— and a lot of fun! Huge thanks to each of these Bellhops members!

Fantastic Hops, Joseph is excellent, a clear and direct leader who took charge and moved really well and with haste, definitely keep him on and bonus the heck out of him. Jesus was excellent as well, moved with haste and was always asking what more he could do. Liam was a beast as well and helped carry a nearly 300 lbs dresser but did so with ease. All in all, given the heat and the 2 flights each way they had to move our items the guys could not have been better! Professional, joked along with us and had a great attitude. Also, Liam was curious about being an intern and I think he would make a great candidate for being at HQ. really could not rave more about the guys! Really great team and a great move, I am thankful we had such great Bellhops! We used the Bellhops based on their reviews and being local. I will say we were very impressed! The crew of gentleman we had were extremely courteous and handled our furniture with excellent care. The entire crew, including the driver, were very pleasant. They moved some heavy furniture and never complained nor banged up the walls or door frames. My husband wants to steal the crew for his construction company ;) We will definitely use them in the future and give a solid recommendation.

We started out with a hiccup as our team lead was late, but everything was still taken care of in a very timely manner. Huge shoutout to Tyler D. He came prepared with shoulder lift dollies (definite improvement over hand trucks for stairs) and got right to work. Also, customer service was super about smoothing out our wrinkles!
