They don’t answer the phone when you call; you have to leave a message and they MIGHT call back. They gave me an arrival time of 1-4pm and text me at 8:30am asking if they could come sooner, then didn’t bother showing up AT ALL. I called the office and left multiple voicemails during business hours to no avail, and called and text Joe, the mover, and got absolutely no response either. When I finally got ahold of them the next day, they didn’t even apologize and were exceptionally rude, considering the fact that I was still humoring rescheduling with this absurd company. I wound up getting a refund because the girl that answers the phones is so awful and the company is such a scam. SAVE YOURSELF THE STRESS AND HEADACHE!! Call Titan Movers instead in the Memphis area.

I would not recommend booking services with this company. I called a month ago to schedule my move for June 22nd. The lady I spoke with on the phone was great and professional. That is where the professionalism ended. The movers were supposed to be here between 9 and 11am. At 8:30 I got a call that they probably wouldn’t be to my house until closer to 11 as they had a move scheduled before me that was in a city an hour and a half away from me. I said that was fine. That’s when things went south. I called at 11:30 and was told that they were just then finishing up the move prior to mine and they would be heading my way. At 1 I still had not heard anything so I called the number that had been calling me and the phone was dead and going straight to voicemail. I called the number listed on the Groupon and got a person who I assume is the owner. That is when I was told that the transmission on the truck had gone out and they were in the process of transferring items to a new truck and would be heading to me. He said that he would have one of the guys on the truck reach out to me. By 2pm I still hadnt heard anything so I tried calling the owner again. He stated that they were still waiting on the replacement truck, but that they were still on track to make it to me. At 3:30 after numerous attempts at calls that were sent to voicemail (his voicemail box was full so I could not leave one) I finally was able to get in touch with the guy from the truck and was very rudely told that “he only had 2% on his phone battery and he wasn’t trying to rude but he needed to find a way to get home.” He stated that the owner told me that they would put me first thing the following day and that he would reach out to me. I never heard and still have not heard anything from the owner. The driver did call me the following morning, but I told him that their services were no longer needed. Stay far away from this company as they have zero customer service. A good deal is not always a good deal.

I started to buy a Groupon deal, but before I got around to buying it, it expired. I called and they matched the price and even gave me the extra 20% off that Groupon was advertising at the time. I moved from downtown Nashville to Hendersonville, so an hour of time was automatically deducted (I understand.. gas isn't cheap..) They showed up exactly on time and as soon as I signed they went straight to work. They covered everything with blankets to make sure nothing would get damaged and moved quickly. It took a total of 4 hours to load and unload with non stop work with 3 guys. They did an amazing job and I will definitely use them again in the future.

I would like to take a moment to let you know just how pleased and happy we were with our move from Madison, Tennessee to Gallatin, Tennessee. Astronaut Movers not only moved us, they also packed for us. The three gentlemen that handled our packing and moving were friendly, professional, and very careful with all of our belongings. The estimate they gave us was just what the move came to in regards to time it would take and the amount of money it would cost. When we got to our new home they set everything up for us just where I wanted it, plus they cleaned up as they went. I couldn’t have been more impressed. Moving out of a apartment in late spring and saw they had a Groupon deal. I call them up and told them I live four stories up and will pay extra for the stair fee. I had 3 medium size boxes, a sofa, one TV stand, one dresser, a small bamboo dining table, and a bed with mattress. All of which I moved myself, up 4 flight of stairs against gravity only using a dolly no elevator. Day of moving arrived and the movers are 15 minutes late. No big deal because they don't start timing until they start moving, so that was fair. I specifically told the lady on the phone I live four stories up and I agree to pay the stair fee… and you know who she sent to move my stuff? Two guys who couldn't climb one round of stairs without taking a 15 minute break. Thirty minutes later after they started moving, all they completed was the TV stand and dining table. After that, they found out that the apartment had an elevator and spent 15 minutes waiting for the elevator. Of course they didn’t even bother to look down and see that the 1st and 3rd floor are using the elevator. So the elevator will NEVER reach the 4th floor. Try to ask them to move my belonging down by stairs but they insist on waiting for the elevator because it was tiring work. Seriously? Then why the hell did I have to pay a stair fee if your movers will just enjoy the leisure of an elevator. At the 1 hour 15 minute mark they completed moving the bed, mattress, and dresser. At this point I had to start moving my stuff myself or else I will reach the 2 hour limit and have to pay $100 for every additional hour rounding up to the next hour. Manage to load mostly everything into the truck and get to my new place and unload everything onto the parking space in just a little over 2 hours. Paid them and off they went. Had to move everything into my new place myself, also had to go back to my old place and move the things that I didn’t want them dragging their feet moving just to waste time. Astonishing that two men twice the sizes of me, took 4 times longer than me to move a couple of furniture. If you want to move stuff yourself and have a couple of Astronaut Movers drive your stuff to your new location then Astronaut Movers are the movers for you. Their logo should be “Paid us to move your own stuff!” Would not recommend this moving company to anyone, not professional at all!

I made an appointment to move on Sunday, July 14, 2019, and received email and phone call confirmations that the movers would arrive between 9 am - 11 am. No one ever showed up. I tried to call and the office was closed. I had no other number to call so I received no service. I called the next day and the receptionist said she would see what happened. Haven’t heard anything since. I DO NOT recommend this company because they are very unprofessional, unreliable and have done NOTHING to rectify the situation. If I could give negative 5 stars, I surely would do so.

I would not recommend this company to anyone. I had them move me in June 2015. My glass table top had gotten broken within my move. I was told they could not move it but the gentleman said he would go ahead. Ending…. it broke and now I am out of a BEAUTIFUL table top from Ashley Furniture and if you have ever shopped there, you know that their selection is not cheap. This was a full China and Kitchen table set purchased for my birthday years back. I have been able to keep it in good condition till now. I have sent them a certified letter in regards to the damage done and provided them quotes on the repairs. They have refused to pick up the letter from the post office and the postal service informed me they have been made aware of the letter waiting. Of course, when you initially call with the complaint when it happens they treat you as if it was your fault and the mover told them I begged for them to take my table. I am a Christian lady and that is NOT my personality. If you tell me you cannot do something then I find another way. I would have liked to been made aware that you could not have in the beginning, so yes, that was disappointing b/c now I have to find another way to move an item that I HIRED movers for but I did not BEG anyone. So… now a table top is broken. I was also told that this money would have to come out of the employees pay check. I don’t think a PROFESSIONAL company should be making the client feel bad as to what will have to been done to their employee if they break personal property upon a PROFESSIONAL move. As home buyers, etc… we have enough to worry about than to feel bad about something someone else has done on a job that you are being paid money to do. The only words I had gotten from the owner of the company was that a contract was signed, which it was but when movers are moving you, they read over it fast … and a copy was not provided to me at the time of the move. My issue is that your boss told you NOT to load my glass table but you went against his orders and did so. Then it becomes my fault and not only that but a lie was told stating I “begged you”. I could have made arrangements for someone else to load that IF I were told ahead of time before this company came to my home. I don’t appreciate being told I did something I did not. This company is VERY shady and I felt as a woman and a single mother that I was taken advantage of and treated and talked to as I was nothing. Be VERY careful if you decide to take on this company. Know ahead of time there are SEVERAL items that they cannot take on your move and they will not tell you UNTIL they get there and you have signed off on your contract IF they tell you at all. If It were me… keep looking for someone else…. Or better said… KEEP IT MOVING.

Excellent experience with these movers on time and right to work. Roger and Sean were outstanding, going above and beyond to take care in moving items. Roger was even thoughtful enough to be sure spiders were not coming into the house when I moved a cedar chest from the garage to a bedroom. Their attitude was always positive and Roger sings a good note while working!! What I thought was a 3+ hr. job, they did in just 2 hours. Outstanding company from the phone calls prior to arriving to the last "anything else" conversation. I recommend them highly and will definitely use them again.

Amazing! I cannot remember the two guys names that helped us move but they were amazing! First, they arrived early! Always a great first impression. When they came in they introduced and shook the hand of everyone there, thought that was so polite! They were polite, fast, careful, and I honestly could not have asked for better service! I was very stressed about this move because my husband was not going to be able to be there and it was just me, my mom, a friend, and my mother in law, but they went above and beyond!! Very happy with the service I received and would definitely recommend them to anyone. The only thing that was confusing was the 30 minute/ 1 hr deduction for traveling just because I have never had a moving company that did it that way. I just asked about it though and it made sense. NEVER CALL THIS COMPANY!!! Three men came and moved like snails! wrapped things that didn't need to be wrapped just to run the clock up....still had several items damaged. They dropped and dented one of my chimes to my grandfather clock!!! O! n their phone way to much...alot of standing around! Took them 11 hrs to move my 3 bedroom apartment and drive 10 miles to my new location....All 1 level.....They totally took advantage of a 63 year old widow!!!

The crew called about an hour before, showed up and worked with minimal breaks. They were very careful and wrapped anything that could do damage or be damaged. I do not even know where to start. We had a confirmed move scheduled for 1-4 pm yesterday, we waited all day, and they never showed up. At 4pm I called the office and left two voicemails, with no answer and still no answer today at 5pm despite their business hours being open all day today. The only response we received was through Facebook messenger where they lied and said the movers attempted to contact me 4 times and then finally left. 1. Noone called. 2. Noone came to our apartment and we confirmed today that noone was at our house we moved to all day yesterday. 3. They called my correct phone number on Friday to cinfiem...so they had my number... We were forced to find last minute movers - thank God for A-1 Movers - and filed a dispute with our credit card company, as well as a complaint to the Better Business Bureau. They still have not responded in any way shape or form. No apology, no offer to mend the issue, no offer to come back and help us move. What a joke.....stay away from this horrible business.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! Absolute worst moving company. The movers were supposed to arrive from 11a-1p. They called at 2p and said they were a hour away and then again at 3:15 saying they were 15 mins away. They arrive at 3:30p; Shannon and Dallas in a 24” uHaul truck. After seeing my STUDIO apartment which included (King size bed with mattress, chest, tv stand, and roughly 6 boxes), they said it would be 1hr load up time. Dallas was limping and took his sweet time while texting on his phone. He then informed me someone stole their truck that had all the equipment on it. Thank god I had a dolly to help assist. It took them 2hrs to load up my studio apartment. Originally I was moving my furniture into a storage unit 15 mins away but instead I ended up having to rent one walking distance from my condo since it took them so long which was double the price. Once we arrived at the storage unit one minute later he said if I could get a unit here he would keep me in the 2hr window. It took 10 mins to finish paperwork in the office. After coming out, Dallas said his boss said I will have to pay for an additional hour in cash. I told them I do not carry cash, and the movers said they will not unload anything until I pay in cash. I tried calling Astraunt movers multiple times and keep getting the voicemail. He ended up calling his boss to process a payment over the phone. The payment came from squareup: Joe moving and haul with the address 4856 Everest Dr Old Hickory, TN 37138. I would not recommend anyone to hire them to move your home. I wouldn’t even hire them to transport cow poop. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!

Bought a Groupon and booked them in January for a move. Called them that morning to verify and they said they would be there. Never showed up!!! Tried to book them again last week , since I had bought a Groupon, and was told over $100 would be used for travel time and gas and tgat remaining amount could be put towards move. I saw one of their trucks yesterday that clearly stated travel time included AND the price for 3 hours was cheaper than what they sell the Groupon for. Very unprofessional!! I went with Catfish movers and they were there fast (since no one showed first time) and were very professed fast!!

I thought these guys were great, until I noticed they left about 3 carloads worth of items and boxes behind. It took me an additional 4 hours to move all that they left behind in my 1 bedroom apartment. If you want big stuff and boxes moved, they are very quick and you can't beat the price, but don't expect them to move items like lamps, tv's, clothes, or blankets (I had left blankets out so they would have some padding to work with). Also, they moved my bookshelf without taking the shelves out, and then stacked items on the shelves in the new place. A peg holding the shelf in place fell out during the move, and the items they stacked fell when I tried to move them, which resulted in a broken record player.

If I could give them zero stars I would. Every time I call, all I get is voicemail. Took three calls to get a call back. Said he was in the middle of a move and would call me back. He did not. Finally after more calls and more messages left, I got a call and scheduled the move. They did not show up! Called several times to complain and to reschedule. They did NOT call back ever! Steer clear of them!

Do not use! Run Far Far Away!!!! Use True Friends because they are the best around. I used Astronaut because they were the only ones not booked up, which should've been a sign. I bought two hours, and they only give you an hour because the first hour is for their travel time, which would've been nice to know up front. I only had to move a kitchen table so I didn't figure it would be an issue. The clock started, and they had me fill out paperwork that he had to read to me, which took 10-15 minutes prior to them starting to work. They loved to chit chat. They were really nice guys, but they weren't staying focused on the task. We both left the pick up destination at the same time. I arrived to my home in 14 minutes; they arrived 34 minutes later. Then, they demanded another $100 before they unloaded the truck because the hour was up. I asked for the number to call somebody, but they office was closed because it was after three. So I asked for somebody else's number, which went straight to voicemail and the mailbox was full. While I was trying to reach somebody, the guys weren't so nice. They were swearing in my driveway because I was trying to talk to somebody civil to discuss the issue. They said we're only sitting here for another hour, and they were going to charge me another $100 and leave with my stuff. So, I just had to pay them the extra $100. Pros: The scheduling people were really nice. Nothing was cracked or broken. They showed up on time.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! My husband and I recently moved into a new home and utilized this moving company. All went well, until one of the [male] movers did not remove the drawers from one of the dressers being placed into the home. So as the dresser was being moved, he dropped a drawer, causing it to break & scratch very completely. With remorse, the mover quickly gathered the drawer, apologized & immediately provided the phone number to the office manager & advised my husband to call to have the merchandise repaired/replaced. Trina, the young lady that answered the call assured my husband that she would provided the information to the owner, Joseph, and it would undoubtedly be replaced. Well, fast forward 2 weeks and the same young lady calls my huysband back to inform him that they will not cover the damages and that they are not responsible for any damages caused by their worker! Of course, my husband was upset by this, but instead of Trina attempting to provide customer service, empathy for the damages & non-resolution, instead she bacame VERY arugmentative. at one point, she even pauses to talk to herself and advise herself that she "is not going to go there!" TERRIBLE COMPANY, policy and CUSTOMER SERVICE. So unless you do not mind having your things improperly moved and damaged, you DO NOT want to use this company.

I used Astronaut Movers with their 3 hours for $159 deal. An hour was used as drive time to my house as I live outside of the Metro Nashville area. My experience with Astronaut Movers was superb, from the lovely lady who answered the phone when I called (which most movers I called went straight to voicemail or the number was disconnected) to the movers, Darryl and Mark. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Darryl and Mark, they were dependable, courteous, efficient, and got straight to work. Even with a 40 minute drive time between locations they were able to load up about 2 rooms worth of stuff and unload it at the other location within the 2 hour time period. I would highly recommend Astronaut Movers!

Do NOT use this company. They have terrible professionalism. It seems like their truck breaks down quite frequently by the comments below. It happened to me today. They “conveniently” broke down 30 minutes before my window closed. The guy offered no updates, told me nothing that was going on, and didn’t even bother to call me he did it all via text. Even with a deal I would never book here again.

Absolutely worst moving company ever! Do not waste your time with these people. They are very unprofessional and know nothing about customer service. Joseph, the owner, assured me my property would be safe in their hands. That was a lie. The movers broke my tv stand and didn’t even tell me. I didn’t notice it until the next day. They have absolutely no integrity at all. Then they took apart my jewelry armoire without even asking me and did not put it back together when they left. Joseph said he would reimburse me some money on my tv stand. That’s been over 3 weeks ago and now he won’t even answer my text messages now. Chris cuts side deals to hustle extra money as well. They should not still be in business. Just a overall horrible experience.

Do not use this company! They have horrible professionalism and customer service. My mother in law booked this company for 01/25/2019 through Groupon. The movers did not show up for the set and only advised of what was happening when my husband called to get their ETA. We were advised they were having issues with their truck but promised to come on 01/26/2019 at 9am. They also advised they had another truck coming from Atlanta. We were understanding and accepted the new time. Again, we did not hear anything from them at the new scheduled time. My husband had to contact the company again to determine an ETA. We were told they were still working on their truck, but we were given a window time of 9-11am. At almost noon, my husband yet again had to contact the company. He was advised they were still having issues and were not sure they could come today. When we told the owner of their unprofessionalism and poor communication. The response we received was, “Groupon will refund your money”. Needless to say, this was unfortunately a disappointing and frustrating experience with Astronaut Movers. I would never recommend anyone give them your time or business.

I looked online and called several moving places until my friend Danielle told me about Astronaut Movers! When I called Astronaut Movers they quickly and so kindly assisted me in helping me find what worked best for me with the day and time I needed to move. They sent me an email that confirmed the day, time, and fees associated with my move. On the day of my move they called me in advance to let me know that they were on their way. The two gentlemen who were my movers were very careful with all of my breakables and furniture. The two gentlemen did an excellent job moving me from my old home into my new home. Terrible customer service. Did not show up at all at first scheduled time. No calls, no emails, just did not show. Had to reschedule after already packing everything up. No apology ever offered. No explanation of charges cost us an extra hours worth. Was told they would follow up within 48-72 hours about extra charges, and absolutely no follow up was ever made. Wasn't surprised at that point due to the terrible service I had already received. Skip Astronaut and go with someone who handles their business the right way.

I purchased a Groupon for Astronaut Movers. It took 2 days to call back. I was told someone will call you back within 24 hours. I called 14 times and to date no one has yet to call back. Not to mention the young lady that answered for them sounds like she was 13. You should treat paying customers that way. I will never use them for anything. People if you call them and they dont answer and theres no answering service. Thats a sign. Dont Do Business With this unprofessional company

Astronaut Movers did a really great job of wrapping all of our furniture and making sure everything arrived at our new home in the same condition it left our old home in. The only thing negative I can say about them is that for an hourly charge, one of the two movers was caught texting and talking on his cell phone FREQUENTLY while he was on the clock. If you're paying by the hour, you want to see that you're getting your money's worth out of the people you're hiring and that was only the case for one of them.

I scheduled 2 movers to be at my house at 1pm and they did not show up until 6pm. The contact number for this company is almost useless. My microwave didn't get unloaded off the truck for some reason and it has been a big hassel to get it back. I would not recommend this company

Today was very stressful, having to move on a workday! My son actually bought a Groupon for me so I wasn't privy to the ends and outs of all the details. After waiting for quite a while, and me contacting the office numerous times, through my obvious stress of things not happening fast enough for me, the office employee was very professional and calmed me down. Once the movers appeared, Daryl (I believe that's right) was very informative, kind, courteous and very helpful even through my obvious frustrations (rainy day and having to get back to the office) the movers were amazing!!! They gently packed my belongings,unpacked and stored them better than I probably would have done it myself. I just couldn't let this day pass without saying "Thank You" to those two guys (Daryl and Joe.. please forgive me regarding the names... like I said, it was a stressful day! ). Darryl was on top of his game. Kudos!

Update: After calling the company to let them know my concerns, they were very helpful. I was given a refund for the hour I was charged. The manager was very professional and understood my concerns. Again the movers did a good job and I was thankful that they were able to assist me. Sorry for the late update. My schedule time was 9am. They showed up 3 hours after time. They did not have the proper paperwork with my information on it. They used a paper with someone else infomation on it, marked through and wrote my info. One mover was on his phone alot, moving slowly and making serveral trips to the bathroom. They showed up 25 mins after I did at the second location, even though I left after they did. The move went over half an hour and I had to pay for a full hour though I waited half an hour for them to arrive at my final destination. Overall the movers where nice but my experience was not that great.

Working with Astronaut Movers was a dream (especially compared to the experience we had with our Chicago movers). We hired the team to unload our Uhaul that we drove from Chicago. They were efficient, but also meticulous to ensure they didn't scratch our freshly painted and carpeted house. They were respectful of all of our furniture, and got our truck unloaded in record time (which was surprising given the state of the packing by our less-than-stellar Chicago movers). We will definitely be using them again next time we need anything moved (but hopefully not our house, we're never moving again).

I got a call from Mike at 815 letting me know he was on the way! We got finished by 11! I was so astounded at how quick and easy they made the process. Saw an ad on Groupon for Astronaut Movers, called them direct to purchase offer so they would receive all the funds. Trina who answers was the phone was very nice and told me they could take care of me and just to pay cash/check the day of my move. Received a confirmation email. 2 days prior to my move Trina called to make sure I understood that there was a $30 additional charge for moving on a Saturday. As I was unable to book another company on such short notice, I was forced to agree to this. When I spoke to the owner the Tuesday after the move, I was put on speaker phone and informed by Trina that out of the goodness of her heart she had given me a reduced hourly rate for 129 for additional hours rather than 139 to make up the 30 service charge. Out of the goodness of my heart I bought directly from them....no good deed. The moving crew showed up on Saturday morning right on time and very nice and polite! THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB with moving me. Upon their arrival they proceeded to go over my paperwork/contract at which point I was informed that the hour travel time included in the deal was not from my home to my new residence but was time for them to drive from their office to me and back? Which means I paid for not one additional hour for moving but for 2 at 129 an hour. The deal I purchased was 3 hours for 249. Movers started their time at 9:30 were done at 1:20 and I paid 550 for the move (plus 55 for blankets I purchased from them) which was 4 actual hours plus their time to and from the office. I have never paid for a mover to travel from their office to my home and back.I would not recommend Astronaut Movers unless you request a copy of your contract in advance and read it prior, I have certainly learned my lesson. They even have a clause they won't move paperwork, medications, or pressboard furniture because of liability this wasn't an issue for me but I am confident there are people out there who would be affected.

This is my first experience ever using a moving company and I could not be more impressed. They got me scheduled for a Saturday move with less than a week notice at a very reasonable price. I had a two hour limit set that they did not exceed and even stopped the clock because of rain (they didn't want to move my solid wood furniture during the storm and risk damages). All around, this was the best experience I could have asked for and will only use them if I ever need moving services in the future. Thank you all so much, everyone I encountered was wonderful!

Absolutely terrible. The first time we hired them, it took them 5 hours to load our truck when the last movers did THE EXACT SAME AMOUNT OF STUFF in only 2 hours. They also charged us an extra 30 minutes for travel time to our house, which was never discussed initially. The second time we hired them (should've learned our lesson), I had confirmation for an appointment time at 9am. Our appointment time was arbitrarily changed to 1pm and I was never given a reason, nor was I contacted about the change. When I called to inquire about it, they said they would call me back. They never did. I called back AGAIN, they said they would call me back. I was eventually informed that they don't know why our appointment time had been changed, but the 9am slot that day was no longer available, and the 24' truck we requested was also not available. When I informed them that all of our stuff would absolutely NOT fit in a 16' truck, they said, "Then the movers will just make two trips," but we were still expected to pay for any additional time they would take. This information came to us a few days before our moving date, and when I asked why I was never contacted, Trina said, "We're contacting you now." NO, I contacted YOU. I called back the next day to inform them we would not be responsible for any time over what we initially paid for because of their mistake with the truck. Then I was told, "Oh no, the 24' truck is available. I'm not sure why they told you it wasn't." Moving day comes, they are an hour and a half late, and show up at the WRONG location in spite of me calling TWICE to confirm the address. I would not wish Astronaut Movers on my worst enemy and I will never, ever, ever use them again. tl;dnr They are incompetent, unorganized, and have no concern for time considering their customers are charged on an hourly basis. Also, someone also needs to tell them about the glaring grammatical errors on their trucks and advertisements.
