I think that the good reviews are by mistake not the bad ones, you are ridicilous saying to everybpdy you have put this review by mistake, 29 days after the first delivery date and I don't have my stuff yet...they said 5 days in tbmhe begining, than 2 weeks, than 30 day, they never called let me know that was a delay, even when I called they never called me back, they are liers and I suggest NOT TO DO BUSSINES WITH THEM,

Sad to say I need to warn others about unprofessional practices for this company. My experience started off fine. Unfortunately the service at my final destination was not so good. I am still waiting for delivery of a wing back chair that was mot taken off the truck during the move since May! I suppose small claims court is my only recourse. They hired local workers to unload and totally didn’t care about putting boxes in the right rooms. Then tried to charge me more than original agreed upon price. Come on Apex make this right!!

Unprofessional, gaslighting, disrespectful. Daniel, a sales rep at this company, is completely unprofessional and hung up on me after I told him -- WITHIN THE LEGAL WINDOW OF CANCELLATION -- that I wanted my deposit back because I no longer needed their services. Unbelievable. And the rest of the staff is unprofessional as well. I would advise you not to work with these people.

The ppl on the phone were great, they seemed to really care about my entire situation. They helped me with getting my utilities turned on and checked on me after the move. The movers were well, a little less professional, they were too personal. This was reported and taken care of though. That being said, the company in a whole, were great.

Apex is the absolute worst moving company. If it weren't for their driver/mover Leon (Florida) I would probably sue Apex. The misquoted the job. When the QA person called it wasn't to confirm the job, it clearly was to identify what to leave out from the job so I would "have to" pay more for items I know I originally included on the initial bid. They take advantage of a high stress situation. The payment policies are archaic and not customer friendly at all. They don't take credit cards! They will tell you a check payment is acceptable until the move happens and then say they can't accept a check for a "straight move"- meaning the customer has to scramble around to find money orders (or cash which no intelligent person would do) to pay the driver? How do we know the driver will pay? It's a horrible transition system and I wouldn't recommend Apex Moving & Storage to my worst enemy!!

Apex is the worst. My daughter arranged pick up from Florida to NJ. We paid in full prior to services. Florida movers were professional. The delivery to NJ was very unprofessional, demanded additional money and when it was denied they place items on the busy street away from the delivery address. They cut the blankets off the items!!! Company did not assist and accepted this behavior. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

Our new employers used this company to move us from Florida to the Nashville area a few years ago. After 23yrs with the military and always having our belongings damaged and stolen, Apex was absolutely excellent. So much so, we are off moving states again and this time we are paying for our own move and I want the same guys that we had last time, they were exceptional. I have spent days trying to track down who our previous employer used to move us, fingers crossed the original moving duo are still there.

I don’t even want to give one star. This was the worst experience of my life. Moving is stressful enough, but then when you don’t get a company that cares it makes it even worse!! The estimate compared to the move was almost double, they are called moving and storage but I was told by the supervisor they really don’t cater to storage hence the ridiculous charge Upon delivery finally after waiting 12 days the workers could of cared less how they unloaded my thing, no care was taken at all. And just when I thought I was done with them they lost/misplaced some of my things and then questioned me about whether those things were even on the truck to begin with Nightmare!!!! N Horrible communication horrible Customer Service They just don’t care!!

These movers are phenomenal and I would recommend them any day and to anyone who wishes to have the headaches of moving taken out of the equation. The office was extremely professional and always there when I needed questions answered. The drivers and movers were also very professional, but felt very down to earth as well. I felt very comfortable having them deal with my property. This is also the first time where I have moved and not had anything broken or scratched. Everything was done very well and I would use them again if I ever needed it.

Honestly wish I could give no stars. Started out seeming like it might be okay on the first day but they didn't tell us any plans until they were already there. We were supposed to have them for two days to move some stuff to the new house and then the rest to their storage facility. We didn't know which they were doing what day until they got there so had no way to plan what was ready to go and where everything was positioned. They were rough and uncaring with the way they lifted and tossed around our boxes even after we told them some were fragile, they were only there for a few hours before they left without telling us any real plan of if they were coming back that night or the next day or where they were going. They were very rude acting like we were stupid or ignorant when we were just trying to get an idea of what the plan was. We had very little time to pack and plan for this move and even after telling them that they were still very pushy and forceful. They took some boxes that we told them to leave so we don't know where some of our stuff ended up now. They had to come back for a third day because of how little we knew about their plan and how short of a time they were actually there. When they did take stuff to storage they didn't tell us it was set up as crates they just shoved stuff where ever it fit. Originally they told us it was going to be one price then after it was all done added on a bunch of fees for "extra time" they didn't actually take nor did they need to take and other stuff I still don't understand. Now a few months later they've sent us a second charge for all these different bill-padding things they didn't tell us upfront. Now they're suddenly telling us that to get our stuff back from their storage it's going to be $25 per crate that they have to move to get to it. We just wanted to get a few things out to start since some of what we meant to bring with us ended up there, but they don't know where any of it is in the crates and will charge for each crate they have to move even if what we are looking for is not in that crate. Unlike other storage facilities we can't go in to look at our stuff outselves. Paperwork given so we could know what was supposedly in each crate is completely illegible. Their charge was a flat $140/hour but didn't tell us this included drive time and the time they stopped to get lunch. We don't even know what the drive entailed. Pretty sure they stripped a screw in one of our beds. Total bill was roughly $2500 for an in-state move of less than 100mi. Ridiculous system set up to leech as much money out of you as they can. Will NEVER be using this company again and CERTAINTLY do not recommend it for anyone else.

My experience with Apex was absolutely exceptional from the pack/load day to the unpack at my new residence. The crew was careful, respectful of me and my property and they were just nice guys. The most impressive part is that I had a missing part to a piece of my furniture that was left at the warehouse. They drove it back up and returned it to me in perfect condition...in fact it was my driver from the unpack! WARNING: Totally misleading. Came to give an estimate. Told us the final payment would not exceed 110% of the estimated weight/cost. In the end, we were 1500 lbs above the estimate. They then tried to charge us more and said we signed a non-binding estimate therefore we must pay the full amount of the weight in the end. We are paying the total cost in the end as we signed paperwork but VERY disappointed to learn all of this on our drive to our new home out of state and with them having our belongings in their possession. Furthermore, they used our boxes as sleds down the stairs and crushed our boxes. Also, movers left trash in our yard. All around, unprofessional. Recommend using someone else.
