I actually had another moving company scheduled when my friend told me about her great experience with 6th Man Movers. Based on her moves with them, I immediately called to see if I could get a time scheduled short notice. Luckily for me, I was able to! Markins and David P were the best movers you could ask for. I moved from a third floor to ground level apartment, and they ensured that all of my belongings were safely loaded, transported & unloaded as if they were their own. These guys are professional and know what they are doing! Highly recommend to anyone looking for quality and trustworthy movers.

I have moved several times in the past 30 years, including corporate moves. My experience with 6th Man Movers was the best move experience Ive ever had. They were professional and courteous in booking the appointment, and had the estimate exactly right. On moving day, one of the hottest days of the year, they really did a great job! James and Mark were on time and extremely efficient. They literally left no stone unturned when it came to protecting my belongings. Super nice from the start. I did not need to provide a long, extensive list of items. I gave them an overview they provided an estimate. When it was all said and done they were off by about 30 min which was not bad considering we had to share an elevator getting things moved in. Everyone along the way was professional and courteous. I used 6th Man Movers for a local move from Mt Juliet to Bellevue. The twins moved me and were absolutely amazing. They were both very nice, friendly, and quick. Great service. The team arrived on time and hustled through our cross town move. We were originally quoted for a 6 hour move with a 3 man crew. Only two men showed up due to (I assume) a planning miscommunication on move-day. This originally bumped my review down to 4 stars. I feel really energized about my experience with 6th man movers. I move a lot and I assist a lot of family members with moves and my interactions and logistic discussions with 6th man couldn't have been easier. I paid a deposit. Got a call the day before to confirm (as promised). The crew called and arrived in the three hour window they said they would. The guys were very considerate of my belongings and wrapped things with care. They also *RAN* from the truck to the house when they weren't carrying my belongings. Maybe they were trying to get a work out, but it was much appreciated considering I pay them by the hour. Check out process and payment (cash, check, card) went through the office when the team finished. When I move in Nashville this is the only company I'll use.

My son got their business card at Nashville Pride and the company legitimately is an equal opportunity employer. Our moving team was friendly, prompt, fast and efficient. I was impressed because they're paid by the hour but didn't ride the clock in any way. There were a few scuffs on the walls of our stairwell and we ended up having to discard a box springs, but it wasn't their fault as the stairwell is enclosed and the landing tight. The box springs was a very solidly made wood frame for a tempurpedic foam mattress and had zero give in it, so it truly was just too big and rigid to squeeze up there. Overall a quite positive experience with a company I'd absolutely use again and recommend to friends!

This was the best moving experience I've ever had. I selected 6th Man Movers after researching online - based on the excellent reviews - and everything was seamless from start to finish. Booking was easy, communication leading up to my move was smooth (email confirmation with details, courtesy call the day before, courtesy call about half an hour before arrival). Max and Charles were fantastic - prompt, friendly, and professional. They worked quickly and carefully. They checked in with me to make sure things were set up the way I wanted them. They also explained how my bed had been not been assembled properly by my last movers and assembled it correctly at my new place. The rates are very reasonable. I expected to be much more stressed out today, but everything went so smoothly. All in all, a great experience! I love supporting a local business and would definitely use 6th Man Movers again.

We were in need of assistance with moving many many boxes into storage to prepare the home to be listed for sale. We were from out of state and had limited time in Nashville. Our helper came down with the flu and the weather going rainy. I contacted 6thMan and they were available the following morning (the only day without scheduled rain). I have some very heavy and unwieldy furniture that the movers were able to wrangle smoothly down three flights of very cramped stairs inside the house. Beyond awful move. The first crew literally threatened physical violence to me and would not call the main office because he forgot the wardrobe boxes (or give me the number). . They sent a second crew who were polite but inexperienced and it was a very bumbled move. Management response was very apologetic although a bit disjointed at first. They seem to be addressing the issues with the move, although I am not sure if the person who threatened me is still in their employ. Do not allow Damien to move you as he requires anger management counseling given he threatened to slap a customer.

I received an accurate estimate the same day that they came to see the job and they were incredibly flexible with me having to change dates around. On moving day, the crew showed up on time and had me packed up and loaded very quickly. All of my furniture was handled with extreme care and the crew communicated with me well. Unloading was similarly easy and efficient. While two movers were wrapping things up in the house, a third mover came out to help me with boxes that I had moved myself. I has high hopes for this place based on the reviews but was really disappointed . The movers were extremely slow and seemed inexperienced when packing. They would go down the elevator with one piece at a time. The move eneded up taking twice as long as it has taken me with previous movers from other companies. I ended up having to help move my own furniture to speed things up. I will not use them again.

I recently used 6th Man Movers for my move. I'd use them again and would recommend them to friends. The sales rep was v nice and thorough about asking precisely what items I had to be moved. They are competitively priced. They only reason I'm docking a star is because of a slight mishap on the morning of my move. The crew arrived on time. I was excited because they looked very experienced and capable. Immediately they got to work wrapping up furniture and loading the truck. About 15 minutes into the job I get a call from one of the move coordinators saying that there was an issue with a crew at another job and they'd be sending that crew home for the day and sending my crew over to the other job. They assured me that another crew would be sent to my house within 15-30 mins, which was true. The other crew was nice, but the crew leader offered up that it was supposed to be their day off, though they were happy to be there (not exactly encouraging). And they seemed happy, but not quite as experienced as the first crew. They opted to wrap furniture on the truck instead of in the house, which at the time I didn't think anything of. Looking back this seems like an opportunity for damaged items. To be clear, nothing that we've seen so far has been damaged. But, in hindsight seems a bit sloppy. It was a long hot day and the three guys got the job done. Aside from a few small nicks in our walls moving some large furniture items up our stairwell, everything went pretty smooth. The crew leader made sure to photograph all the damages to send to HQ. I followed up with the office myself to make sure the damages would be taking care of. They offered to send a crew out to patch and paint any nicks and marks. Hopefully they'll follow through with that. So, solid movers. Just an unfortunate mishap in scheduling. Not sure exactly why my first crew was sent to another job. Time wasted and I got a subpar crew because of it.

I would not recommend using this company. The guys that came out to do the move were very respectful and tried to protect our furniture. We had to pieces with damage a head board that was dropped and a couch that I do not know what happened to it except when we sat in it we noticed the arm was detached from the frame. The headboard was repaired very quickly but the couch still has not been addressed. The repairman that came out for the headboard took a bunch of pictures to send to 6th Man Movers and said the couch was to much for him to fix. I tried to contact them many times and keep getting told that I am on a list that the General Manager is working off of for call backs. It has been 6 weeks since my move and I get the same statement. I am told he is the only one that can take care of it and I assume is version of taking care of it is to just not address it. The move was finished after regular business hours. I was told that they would call to complete the payment the next day when they did not call I thought they wanted to take care of the repairs first but then they just took the payment out of the credit card that I used for the deposit without any notification this is what they were going to use for the final payment.
