I had a long-distance move across South Dakota. After much research, I hired Affordable Moving. I was right to hire Affordable Moving. The movers had to drive from Sioux Falls to my location across the state to start the move. They ended up being 45 minutes late, due to location confusion. One call to the office and a deduction was immediately offered on my bill. My movers were very respectful and moved like lightening once they got to my home. They took care with my items, and together we discussed any potential furniture size/doorway issues BEFORE they tried moving each piece of furniture. Once in my new town, we had to make multiple stops before arriving at the final destination. All inconveniences were handled with a "no problem" and a genuine smile from the movers. All of this on a 90+ degree day. I could not believe it!! I highly recommend this company!!

Nate, Josh and Derrick are the kind of team that make you feel like you're on vacation on moving day. (Now, Where did i put my pineapple umbrella drink?) Excellent communicators, 10+ yrs together and it shows, realistic in price and time quote. Every member of this team possessed a confident, Positive Attitude. Masters of their trade; Carried our items like brutes holding fine china. Next time, they are doing whole move. Class act... Don't forget to tip, they are worth their weight in gold.

The three men who moved us we're fantastic! They arrived on time l, and were so personable! Even though they were extremely careful and studious in moving my fragile antiques and dumpy old sofa, they did it all so fast! I had budgeted $600 for my move; they did it for about $250. . .from 5 miles out in the country with a stop off to get a dresser at Bethany Meadows en route! They even had to take a door off it's hinges to move the sofa! No damage to either of the houses, or to any of my furnishings. I am so thoroughly impressed, and can't recommend them highly enough.

Hiring these guys is hands down the best decision I have made in a very long time! They picked up our stuff, stored it over the weekend, and then dropped it off perfectly. The crazy part is that the bill for all of that was cheaper than renting a U-haul and doing all the work ourselves! Save yourself a sore back and the hassle and give these guys a call!

I don't normally write reviews, but they earned this one. They are super efficient and very hard working. They had us all moved into our townhouse within an hour and a half of showing up. I also couldn't believe the pricing; the speed and quality was a steal at their rates. They are also very professional and courteous. I seriously cannot recommend them enough. They never answer their phone. When I could finally get ahold of them, they originally scheduled a move that was much later than I wanted becaue they claimed "they were too booked up". Finally went with someone else. Tried to be nice and give Affordable Moving a call to cancel the move. They still didn't answer their phone. I left a message telling them to cancel the move and they never called back to confirm. I get that you are busy, but you lost my business by being so inattentive.

We just moved today and I honestly can say it was the easiest transition I've ever made! In total I have moved four times and throughout those four times I've always moved things on my own with a couple friends helping out. This time we decided to use affordable moving and I can promise you I will never go back to just doing it myself! Three guys came out all super nice all professional and extremely efficient. we went from a one-bedroom apartment to a two bedroom townhouse. they carried it different items into the garage, the main level and even upstairs! BEST MOVERS EVER!!! Seriously, if you are vetting the local movers in Sioux Falls, these are your guys. We moved my Mom out of her house of 40 years in Lennox to Sioux Falls today and it could not have gone any smoother. Not only did they move everything, they also set up the beds and adjusted all of the furniture and made sure Mom was completely happy. Nate and Bryan were in constant communication with my Mom reassuring her the whole time!!!! No pressure, no stress, just great guys at a great price. Thanks guys. We need someone to move just the furniture this company quoted us a fair price. They showed up and offered to take more then just furniture they were quick and some of the kindest guys that showed up. They helped us and even offered to help set up the furniture in the new home. These guys did an excellent job moving me from my townhome, to a new home in Brandon. They were prompt, professional, courteous, fast, and super hard working (they were constantly moving). They also were extremely polite and had a super sense of humor which made the moving experience, which can often be stressful, FUN! I would highly recommend them to ANYONE considering moving. You'll save a ton of money, time and headache. Their truck and equipment is #1. They moved me out, and in, in a total of 3 hours! And, all of my items were in perfect condition even after the move -- they know what they are doing. I was referred to them by a co-worker who used them in December to move, and now I'm going to be referring them to anyone I know who needs help moving! Do yourself a favor, give them a call!
