I hired Ready Set Movers to unload a truck from an out of state move. They did everything they said they would and I will be using them again when my new home is complete. The guys had a great sense of humor and attitude that goes a long way on moving day.

Worst move for the money I have ever had! Don’t know how these guys have a five star. The issues I experienced are the following: 1. They underestimated the job after doing a thorough walk through for their quote for a fairly typical three bedroom home. The day of the move they arrived with one medium size Uhaul type truck that no way could accommodate house contents. They had to bring a second truck and charged an additional $1500 for the move, putting the cost of the move more than $1000 over any other quote I received. 2. My furniture is broken and scared terribly. Dining furniture, which has been previously moved many times, has never gotten so badly scratched and dented by any other mover. They mentioned that they didn’t have enough blankets. Their process of stacking the furniture in the trucks damaged the wooden legs of many of the chairs, the leather on one of the leather chairs as well as table tops. One side table was stacked in the storage room broken in two pieces. Since much of my furniture is stored while my home being constructed to be completed I am not even able to totally assess the complete damage to my furniture. 3. There are items I am unable to locate. 4. I have been unable to get a return phone call or return answer to my text messages following my move to the owner or his main assistant.. Basically, these guys do not have any regard for their customers or the items they move. They may be an OK choice for moving dormitory items or small moves. They are not equipped to handle complete household moves. They do not provide a professional moving service. Please be careful with this company. I would never use their moving services again. They should get a minus star considering the cost of repairing my furniture.

I've moved ALOT with my job and these guys have moved us twice. They were hands down the most efficient, courteous, thoughtful, and kind group of guys we've ever had the pleasure of meeting. They went above and beyond to take care of us, they packed late into the night and drove at all sorts of crazy hours to ensure they got us to the new house on time. And did it with a fantastic attitude and a smile on their face every time they walked by. I could NOT recommend any company higher than this one. No idea where the two negative reviews are coming from, ignore them. Ryan, Caleb, and Ben, you're amazing and we appreciate you. I won't ever move again if I get my way, but if I do Ready Set will be my first call.

Ready Set Mover is a professional, reliable, and clean moving company that cares about the customer experience. They provided a timely and accurate quote, and then showed up exactly when they said they would both days. The packing was exquisite, and not a single piece of furniture was scratched, not a piece of glassware broken. Despite a day of 100+ heat index, the workers took care even with very heavy items when moving it outdoors and into the back of the truck. When I move again, I will have no hesitancy in choosing this company a second time. Don't hesitate if you are considering this company.

They moved all of our office furniture and then disposed of any old items we were not taking to our new office. It was definitely the easiest move I've ever done. They were prompt, courteous, and very careful with our furnishings. All was very well wrapped and packed. Everything arrived on time with absolutely no damage - even in the slightest way to any item. Packed up my mom's place and loaded the moving truck with no issues. The truck was packed so well, I drove from SC to NOVA and not a single box shifted. Great work.

Ready Set Movers moved us from theMyrtle Beach area to Charleston. The movers were very good and the move went relatively well with no damage and on-time. My 3 star review relates to charges which I thought were unclear and even deceptive. The estimate was for 6 movers and 2 trucks at $265 per hour. I was told by phone that we would only be charged for the time they were on site. The written estimate seemed to confirm the discussion ("$265 per hour includes drive time"). I was surprised to get charges an additional 5 hours for the guys to ride in the truck. This seems excessive, and when I challenged it was told it was clear the charges were the same whether they are talking on their cell phones on the truck or moving heavy furniture and boxes. Makes no sense, and it wasn't clear at all.

I can’t say enough about this company, Caleb & his crew are awesome. I highly recommend using them, will without a doubt use them again in the future & find myself telling anyone discussing a move, “you need to call Caleb!”. I looked at reviews online & came across Ready Set Move, repeatedly saw Caleb referenced & couldn’t find anyone with something negative to say! Contacted them via email, response 3 Min later, next day walk-through with an estimate & the final price was almost $500 less than the high end of the estimate. The price was very reasonable, but the level of professionalism was incredible and beyond appreciated!!!
