Palmetto Movers were not only amazing but very professional. They took great stride in making sure nothing got scratched or enen bumped as they moved our furniture and boxes. It was a tough move going up two levels of stairs but they never complained. I was quite pleased and plan on using them the next time we have furniture and large items to move. Worst guy to get your stuff moved. He was on time for the estimate. He gave 4 hour move calculation (his employee - Keith laughed and said that Perry always gives much lower estimate to get the business). First of all, they were late. One of the employee - James, said that he lost $400 at a bar playing some gambling game named. You don't want to hire someone with a gambling problem to move your expensive stuff. Keith was talking on the phone all the time with his girlfriend. "Baby, I will be late and we are running late." They said that they were taking 30 min break for lunch but came an hour late. At the end of the move, both Keith and James were fighting in front of us about moving heavy boxes. James got upset and dropped a box on the stairway. That four hour move took more than 7.5 hours. Perry said that he had a family emergency and can't come. As soon as we went inside the house, he came in his truck to drive the truck. Both- Keith and James said that they don't know how to drive that truck and Perry doesn't like someone other than him driving that truck. There was furniture damages. However, Perry avoided coming and haven't come yet. Please do not hire this guy.

This was my first time ever using a moving service. Palmetto was great. They had a job before me, but it got cancelled and they called to let me know that they were on the way to me. I wasn't planning on it to take over 2 1/2 hours but they got finished 15 mins than planned. These 2 young men came in and got the job done! They were very polite and well-mannered. I had an outstanding experience with palmetto moving service and I would definitely recommend them and if needed use them again!!!

DO NOT USE - Palmetto Moving Services was a complete rip-off. The workers, which appeared to be teenagers, sat on their phones and were cussing at their girlfriends in my front yard. The owner, Perry, left and when I asked him to come supervise them he said he had something urgent come up and had to leave. He returned to "get on to them" and then left again. When I returned one of the workers started getting upset with me because he got in trouble - My husband had to stop him from getting loud with me. I did not supervise them at storage, but I should have. If they were acting this way at my home I would imagine they were doing very little there. When we paid we were told the total and even handed a receipt. He asked us to enter our debit card number and then sign. We only saw the price on the paper, not what he had put in the system to charge our card. He charged us a $50 processing fee that we did not agree to. Absolutely TERRIBLE service. I will never use them again and I urge you not to either. They are VERY unprofessional. Use a real professional service. Men on The Move is great in the NE Georgia area.

Did not have the best experience with Palmetto Moving. They were 45 mins late to start. Several pieces of furniture had paint transfer on them from the wall's/trim. Those items I can understand, time gets away from you and moving in small accidents will happen. Unfortunately they also left a good sized scratch on my hardwood floor in the living room. But the thing that really frustrated me was that one of the movers used the upstairs bathroom, clogged it, didn't tell us but instead locked it and closed the door from the outside so I had to take apart the door handle, we didn't have any of the interior door keys in our new house yet, only to be surprised by a clogged toilet when i got in. I tried reaching back out to them several times the week following our move and never got a return call. I would recommend looking elsewhere for your moving needs.

WARNING: It takes a lot for me to leave a 1 star, and negative review, but I highly regret hiring these movers. I feel I was overcharged, and that could be miscommunication, but we did pay $500 to have one 10x20 storage unit moved less than 3 miles. BUT, my real issue is that the driver hit our mailbox, and they didn't repair. Moving took place on Thursday, and I was assured by the owner, Perry Farrow, that it would be repaired. I told them that my home was closing Monday, and it needed to be done Sunday by 3 PM. On Saturday he assured me someone would be there that afternoon to repair. No one ever showed, I tried calling and texting....not a word from them. My attorney even tried to reach them for 4 days, since our closing was pushed to Friday. He never responded or apologized. Extremely unprofessional.

We are strong supporters of our local businesses who are involved in the community. It was important to us NOT to hire a "chain" mover as we have in the past. Perry and his entire crew were courteous, trustworthy, and I highly recommend their services.

AMAZING crew!!! All three young men were very polite and professional from start to finish, despite a 10 hr day in 100 degree temperatures. We have HEAVY furniture and they definitely knew how to handle it with TLC and no damages. We have used Palmetto three other times and will continue to recommend them to everyone.
